I'm amazed that no one has had a set end to bidding, that should have been required from the start, and the current bids seem honestly like they're skyrocketing too high.

May I ask what the heck you´re bidding on? I haven´t seen any pictures yet.

Or is it just a Random picture from Tarale's gallery?

I actually set a personal roof on this auction. I have my limits too, so yeah. Don't expect me to bid forever. :/

I assume that the bidders will receive a new drawing of their own personal choice.

Bidders will get to ask me to draw something of their choice, yes.

As for a limit... well, frankly, I'm still surprised that anybody bidded in the first place, let alone... yeah, wow.

Uhm... as stated in my last post, we need somebody to act as Auctioneer here... Not me....

I'll do it!

WE'VE GOT $76 ANYONE WILLING TO BEAT Kitten Yiffer'S $76? *jumbled crazy auctioneer talk*

If there are no bids after a week of inactivity, then we'll put a final day on it. I guess. Sound good?

Kitten Yiffer has the highest bid as of now, $76. Following him is ETG with $75 and Adamant with $66.
Come on people, jump back in here! Tarale's quite the artist, folks. Just check out her sticky in Modern Art, I don't need to say more.
Lets see some bidding action! I want to do my job as an auctioneer.

Or you can end the option like eBay... Set a final date for bids. Easier than waiting a week every time someone bids.

Maybe by next Saturday?

A final end date or a final bid should have been made prior to bidding.

OKAY LETS GO BACK IN TIME TO DO THAT THEN.

I don't think setting a date like that would be smart, because the bids in here aren't all that quick.. but I guess a week or so would be long enough of a deadline. Just hope everyone that wants in will bid by then.

So I'll make it a week from Sunday. Midnight board time, at the end of the day on Sunday September 25, this will be done and we will have our winners!

I don't see why it wouldn't have been. *points at Ebay* Giving people a good two weeks upfront to know that they have this much time to bid would have been nice to have had earlier for those who were interested in bidding, quite honestly. It may have even encouraged more people to bid.

Thayer -- perhaps a date should have been set, but as I don't have much experience with Auctions (I've never sold my art before, much less at an Auction -- nor have I ever purchased from an Auction either) it didn't come to mind when I started this thread.

To be really, really honest, I thought this all would've fizzled out well before now, which would've made the whole idea of a time limit rather moot anyways. Just didn't turn out that way, did it (which to me is a pleasant surprise, I'm quite flattered)?

Okay then, how about the 21st (GMT +09.30 -- Adelaide Time) Midday?

I'm eager to have this finalised too, so I can find out what it is I'm drawing and stuff.

Oh, and Thayer - I know you mean well, but you come across rather abrasive. If you thought that there was a problem with the auction, I'd have appreciated it if you could've been a little nicer with making suggestions Cheers.

Specifically, the way he suggested we "should have" done certain things. Like I said, I know he means well, but really, there are better ways to phrase a suggestion; without it coming across more like criticism. Just little things, y'know.
