| (ooc: Schwa, did you mean that you CAN protect yourself, as opposed to CAN'T? I really hope you're not super-screwed here...) The dimensional rips increase in strength, and soon Adric is hidden from view by the cylindrical hole in spcae-time, which is flashing psychadelic colors. It may not be a barrier on purpose, but a direct result of this is that nothing mana-based will be able to strike Adric, at least at first. The energy will all be sent to replace the mana Adric forced into this universe. When that amount of mana is absorbed, the rips will close, and Adric will have to deal with whatever is left. And, though he can't be seen through the column of light, Adric gets back up. He reaches inside his robes to an inner pocket, and pulls out a multicolored gemstone shard. In his hand, it pulses with pure white light, and the colors shift around slowly inside the glasslike stone. It's a shard of crystallized mana, kept preserved by the separate pocket dimension he pulled it out of. They're insanely hard to make, and it took Adric three months to craft the one he is currently holding. It's a shame to destroy a piece of art, but without a supply of mana he knows he's as good as dead. He concentrates, and begins to channel the stored mana from the crystal into him. It's the work of an instant; Adric instantly feels the familiar magic flowing through him, no longer living off of less than four percent. Simultaneously, the gem turns black, and no longer contains any energy at all, crumbling to dust in his hands. Adric raises his hands in the direction of the dragon, and waits apprehensively for the incoming attack. Surprisingly to anyone but him, his hands flare up with green energy, and indeed his entire body pulses a bright turquoise. His robes suddenly flash white, then become a soft blue. His hair undergoes a similar transformation. The changed Adric's eyes are, instead of black, a piercing bright silver. And why is this? The mana contained in a shard is so powerful, so pure that absorbing its energies can profoundly alter anyone's emotions and abilities for the better. Adric, who normally has no real obsession with good or evil, becomes significantly holier, with a corresponding change to his attack scheme. Of course, these effects are only temporary; Adric will revert to normal after three turns. If Virtue Adric doesn't have enough power to hold off Ka'Mumba's attack, it's safe to say that almost no one does. ADRIC (SUPERCHARGE!) | "Muhahahahahaha!!!!! My soul is COMPLETE!!!!! NOT ONLY HAVE I HURT SOMEONE, BUT I'M FEEDING OFF HIM!!!!!!" Trent notices Schwa defencless, charging up his blast. "Hey Schwa!" He said holding up a bloody dagger. "This is what happens to people who aren't powerful enough to defend themselves. Just like the children. Muhahahahahahaha!!! And now, I will get my revenge and prepare to serve my new master!" Trent walks slowly to Schwa and slashes at him. | Seeing Trent, Peardian quickly flies over to Schwa to intercept the attack. "I will not allow you to hurt Schwa! Diamond Saw!!" As Peardian arrives, he fires a large flat energy projectile aimed at the dagger in Trent's hand. If it hits, the dagger will be sliced clear through. |

| Schwa psychically increases the speed of the Diamond Saw attack, making a sure hit on the dagger at just the right instant. Thanks to this, he's able to finish charging. "Alpha Gamma OMEGA!!" (echo effects) Never mess around with 2 turns of charging! Schwa fires his strongest attack, which is a combo of three projectiles; First, thin red beams fire from Schwa's palms at Trent, lowering Defense if they hit. Second, wisps of energy fire from Schwa's shoulders that home in on the dragon, paralyzing her (she's too big to dodge) for a while... and finally, a HUGE, 56' diameter sphere of energy fires at Trent and the Dragon, plowing through Trent if it hits him and hitting the Dragon for sure, doing unbelievable damage to the foes it hits. The dragon takes the attack and roars, launching her own. The whole area turns pitch black, save for a blood-red beam that engulfs the whole area in front of Ka'Mumba. If it hits, it does amazing damage and lowers all stats to a very low amount. Be sure to defend against this! | The crimson energy flows against the psychadelic barrier, and for a moment it is stopped by it as its component mana energies flow out to the nearby dimensions. However, small cracks form in the cylinder, and it actually shatters under the force of the attack. Little pieces of dimensional crystal scatter all over the area, in time as well as space, absorbing bits of mana from alternate timelines. With the mana pressure equalized, Adric's magic is no longer locked, and any field magic effects are instintaneously neutralized; The Risen are Veiled once more. The shattering of the shield reveals Virtue Adric to everyone nearby for a split second. He's standing with his hands facing the dragon, palms open, in a gesture of denial. The energy in his hands is magnificent, shining a pearly white light out into the darkness. Then, out of each hand comes a tiny white sphere. Each one moves near-instintaneously to a position near an ally; Peardian and MM, specifically. As the red energy nears them, each Pearl of Protection expands into a five-foot sphere of holy essence, moving in an attempt to surround the two magikoopas and at least take a dent out of the attack. With this accomplished, Adric stares fearlessly into the dark scarlet wall fast approaching him. He focuses all his power into his eyes and hands, and speaks but a single word... "No." A wall of green and blue virtue energy explodes out of him. It rushes up against the incoming energies, and by the power of the Word of Denial, they are no longer incoming. The dark scarlet blast passes him on his left and his right, but is held fast in front of him by the power of the most freedom-filled word that has ever been spoken. However, Adric feels a slight satisfaction at this, and any impurity in the soul weakens the shield. Cracks begin to appear, and the shell breaks down, collapsing into nothingness. Luckily for Adric, he's lasted out the worst part of the spell, and as the remainder of the collosal beam washes over him, he is hurt only minorly. | "A pearl? Perfect!" A large grin appears on Peardian's face as he touches the pearl of protection with the pearl in his own wand. "Haaa!" Peardian sends a surge of holy power into the pearl, raising its power greatly. As the wave of red energy flows around the shield, Peardian casts another spell. "Holy Mirror!" Light energy gathers in front of him, forming a perfect mirror. If this tactic works, the beam will be deflected upwards out of harms way. If not, it will shatter and weaken the barrier around him. |

| Trent is hit and is flying backwards. "ARGHH! Dang! I'm going to get myself killed! " In deception Trent turns to the dragon and says... "Muhahahaha!!!!! Good luck fighting Schwa!" He turns to the rest. "Next time I'll fight 'till the end. Until then, I shall mock you all." And with that, Trent flies out of the dungeon never to be seen until a new battle begins.
