I'm quite frustrated with this. I've done it by the way Coby says to do it. Yet... EVERY level has messed up tiles, every tile, except the ones I just now added, are equally as screwed. Even the BG's are messed.

The download I chose from ExGFX Workshop came with a .TPL, I don't know what to do with that. I hear thats a pallette or something, but again - I don't know what to do with it.

And... on a side-note. I doubt simply implementing that will fix the problem of how every single level is messed, even though I followed Coby's instructions step-by-step.

-Yes- I chose a blank page on the 16x16 editor.
-Yes- I did the steps in correct order, from beginning to end.
-Yes- I cleared all objects from the level I wanted to add the tiles to. Like I said, I did the instructions step-by-step.

And yet somehow, all levels are now messed up. And... Just yay. Can anyone help with my problem?

Basically, I did Coby's how-to's in the thread about the ExGFX Workshop. So if you're wondering what I did exactly, visit there.

I guess theres a tiny chance I might've messed up -somehow- even after repeating this process three times to try and do it. I went through all the steps easily, there was no problems. But the outcome was just disgusting. Not only that, after re-opening my hack, I noticed. The ExGFX I put into the 16x16 are GONE? And yet my tiles are still messed up anyway!

Heres a screenshot: http://img366.imageshack.us/img366/9408/lm162ss3fa.jpg

I don't know what I did wrong, if anything. I'm hoping maybe someone will come by who knows why my tiles are all screwed up ever since I hit F3 on a -blank page- on the 16x16 Tile Editor.

EDIT:

I have a theory why my stuff is screwing up like this ( This is what I get for not reading warnings ). When I click the Yellow Mushroom ( To insert the ExGFX ) THIS pops up:

By what it said, I assumed I needed to extract the GFX, insert the ExGFX, and then insert the GFX I just extracted. Re-opening my hack, the background is back to how it should be. Yet the tiles ( In Objects ) are still garbled. I mean... The ExGFX I inserted look fine, just a little coloring flaws ( Probably what the .TPL is all about. Only if someone will tell me what to do with it ) it's fine. But the other tiles are -absolutely screwed-.

I really hope someone can help me with this. I really don't know anything else to try now.

Its because your ExGFX replace the orginal graphic, so press ctrl+delete and start your level with the new tile that in the map16page.bin
