I decided to put together some tunes! Just out of my spare time. Some of these turned out cool, while others turned out bad.

SMB2 Underground and SMW switch was my best I think.

YI boss music is bad.....

Awesome. I've been searching everywhere for a good SMB Castle and SMB2 Cave. The rest are great, too. Good job, MarioMaster.

http://www.mirsoft.info

here's a site with many mario MIDs & MODs!
The MOD music haves better quality than the MID and sounds just like in the original game.

Eh?

You should actually POST the updates, Raccoon Flight.

And if you do, I'd need to know what you'd like the topic to be named.

The Culex battle song is so cool. Too bad it's not a Mario song.

Changing the topic title now, as it doesn't seem to be overly vague.

Also, RF... please post them in the form of links. =\ It's not really against the rules not to, but it'd be a lot easier for everyone else.

Please don't use Quicktime. If you do, you'll be sorry. The drums die after 5 seconds, and a repeated sound will be heard.

Those sound excellent RF Except the SMB-3 Boss Battle. Yours definitely sounds better than the original in my opinion, but I've never really liked that one to start with - ad yeah, the Culex battle sound superb.

Where exactly can I get the thing that lets you make MIDIS? They "sound" like they're fun to make (horrible pun intended)

There's actually quite a few to choose from. A quick google search for "midi creation software" gave me this site as the first result, and it seems to have a decent-sized list of programs. It's up to you to choose a program you think looks the best, or perhaps RF can tell you the name of the program he uses

As for the midis themselves, I'll give them a try tonight I haven't listened to too many lately, as my computer likes to stop any given song in a random place, but continue playing the last note until you disconnect the speakers or turn the computer off Either way, given what other people have said about them so far, they sound like they're pretty good, so I'm eager to listen to them. We'll just have to wait and see

If you ever get to MIDI making, Controbass goes good with SMB3 Overworlds.

I think you missed the first note on the first one. Otherwise it sounds superb. Same for the second one and the fourth one.

The Star Wars ones aren't that good, though.

The last link takes me to a "page not found" page or is it just my computer?

BTW, how do you make all the MIDI? Is it easy?

He kinda messed up on the links here, but they work on the site.

By the way, will you be doing the SMB3 Hammer Bro theme? The only ones I can find aren't very good or fade at the end.

Also, will you be doing any Paper Mario?

(Fabio) It's not easy. You could miss a note very easily.

(Peardian) I know. The looping of every note seemed to have the effect on the whole midi. Star Wars is complicated. But in the Astroid feild, listen after 40 seconds. It improves. And the Controbass saves the .MID again in 1:40 to 2:25.

EDIT: I'll try later. Right now It's SNES, GB, N64, GCB. And I could send you the one I used at VGmusic.com....(Uploaded) If that's what you want. But it sounds slightly different. It has about 20 other Mario songs in it.

If anyone wants to keep these midi's, save them. I'll have to replace them since I can only upload 50 at a time.

SUPER EDIT: Super Midi is released! I will release all the seperate parts sometime later.

A friend of mine has culex battle song as his cellphone ringtone, but it's a realtone, not a polytone. How can i put the midis to a cellphone. Does it have to have an infrared port or sth?
