| Is there any way to fix the quick background feature in profiles ? If you put a picture address there, it will only show in your profile and in preview, but not in your posts... I expect it to be a quick fix if you know what you're doing, so I wanted to know if anyone knew what's wrong with the feature. Either that or I'll just remove it... I'm using v1.A2 by the way... | Heh. From what I understand, they're leaving the current system alone, and are focusing on the new system. ||bass said that the first version of 2.0 will be about 95% like it is now, but the code will be better organized. After that is when the changes will start to appear. So, unless there's a major security issue, I don't expect ||bass or Blades to do any more work on the current board. Broken Post BG isn't a real concern, so I don't see it getting fixed until after the debut of v2.0. |

| That's alright. It's better this way... They shouldn't waste their time on polishing the current board system. The recode is a priority. I was just wondering why they left this broken feature up since v1.90... |

Probably not a high priority? From what I understand, ||bass has been trying to uniform the code, while Kasumi-Asta's been obsessed with the new schemes. Dunno what Blades has been doing.  That's for newer versions. For older ones, Jesper and Erk seemde to have their own agenda... |

| A statement on what is currently on my agenda, from a reliable source. I am fixing the various scheme problems tomorrow. A standards compliant version of the board (HTML 4.1, CSS formated, object oriented, modular PHP code, fully commented and indented to an agreed standard) was something both me and ||bass have agreed on and proposed. This thread will not play host to utter speculation about what we do with our own time any further. I don't have to close it now if people use this forum for discussion on setting up and programming the Acmlmboard system, as it is meant to be for. If you want to know what I'm doing, jesus, come and ask me. I'm on AIM and MSN, and I have PM inbox here. |
