Hi.

I am not sure if anyone here ever experienced this strange OV bug I've found in my hack, but has anyone ever gotten into the situation of Mario/Luigi not walking in the center of their paths, but slightly above it instead?

I have a couple of SS here that show exactly what I'm talking about here. The first SS shows Mario centered on the path I made for the first world of my hack, the second SS shows Mario slightly above where he should be in the OV.

I also want to mention that this has no effect on the levels I made for this world, they are working fine.

Here are the SS:

Anyone know how I can fix the "bug" in the second SS?

Thanks in advance.

BTW, expect the first demo of my hack to be out soon. I'll make a topic for it with links to some SS and a download of the forthcoming IPS patch from my Angelfire site when I'm ready.

Can you take a screenie of your Mario Paths in the actual OV editor? Take a screenie of the green Mario paths, then post it here.

It might have been something to do with the way you placed them. Check that.

Okay, as you guys requested, here is a SS of the paths from the first world of my hack:

Something else I forgot to mention in my first post here. This "bug" doesn't happen as long as Mario doesn't enter the lower pipe on this map (it leads to the Yellow Swiitch Palace).

huh, this is a strange one. I had it where after beating one level, a fortress, and after then saving and reloading mario would have to use a pipe and then warp back again in order to be able to take an exit tile without it glitching. Anyone have any good ideas why it does that?

I think I may have a general idea of why this happened, but I doubt I'm right.

Is it a bad idea to have a pipe or star tile to the far right of the OV main map or one of the sub-maps (in a hack, not in LM itself, in LM, the pipe/star would have to be positioned one space left of the far right end, like in the SS I showed you guys earlier)?

Edit: Through making some tweeks to the OV, I just got rid of this problem, so now, I'm just about ready to release the first demo of my hack. Could someone close this for me please?

Thanks in advance, as always.
