This is a great idea.  I get harrassed by people who just randomly pluck my name from. I know a person doesn't always place their AIM name here, but it'd be nice to check up on that.Though I think having a memberlist deal for AIM names is just asking for trouble.. |

| Not a bad idea, but I'd assume that the people who harrass users here wouldn't put their AIM name in their profile just for this reason. And like YD said.. they'd use it to find people's screennames faster. Sort of goes either way. | |||

| I usually check who the latest registered user is. Chanches are, whenever someone new register to the board they IM me and ask me questions. Usually about SMW ROM hacking, and I hadn't used Lunar magic in long time.  I actually like the idea though. |

| Might be good, because the main reason was mentioned: Who doesn't want to show his/her AIM screen name, simply doesn't enter it or only gives it to people As for myself, I removed my AIM from my profile due to low activity on messengers. Who wanted my AIM, ICQ or MSN address anyway can drop me a PM (and so you are much more safer from morons) - it's better and probably better than just to have a huge ignore/block list in AIM |

| Well... Make it so that if you type the AIM SN, you get the board username... BUT not the other way around. Also, the AIM info could be hidden in the profile, so it'd only be accessible through that search feature. This way, people trying to find out who you are have to know your AIM name already... Heh ? |

| I made a hack like, 2 years ago for AcmlmBoard's that's basically like the "memberlinks" page, only it displays all users AIM, and ICQ numbers (then I later released it with implementation of Yahoo and MSN names). Yeah ... nothing special, but it's nifty I guess. Linky, to see what it looks like. It's sloppy, bad code, and everything. So, I doupt it would be added here. But I'm sure ||bass / someone else could come up with a better idea, so whatever I guess. |
