| Don't feel bad. My mother probably wouldn't be able to beat you... Probably.  Well, at least everyone should have a fair match in the first round. Once I get the brackets made, just for kicks I'll be taking bets on what the results look like. Keep that in mind. Edit: Played a few rounds with Sonicandtails. | I usually chained up an x7 or so at the start of a match. If you can't take the heat of a blitz, you will die in 20 seconds against me. EDIT: Eviscerated Colleen 10-0. He won one while I was sleeping but that was it. I went on a TT afterwards for one match. 24,000 was gained. Second match yielded an x13. Good learning material right here, I'm on the right.  And I don't mind getting slaughtered, since people from ZBattle.net are also these monsters But recently I even got my first _wanted_ x11 which was NOT pure luck  That is nice, this also hides the fact I still need more than thirty minutes to reach 99999 and I rather score poor x4s, x5s, maybe 10 x6s, some 7x and one or two x8s, but, at least I'm improving for myself. | Well, I'm contemplating whether or not I should even be in the tourney. I mean given the people now and my guess in terms of skill, I would rather not have this be a huge slaughterfest in my favor. :\ Guess whoever wins could always go against me at the end if you wanted it that way...I'm not so sure. I don't mind practice matches, but tourney matches kill people's egos a lot. |

| Went 9-0 against Surlent. He's probably the person who's lasted the longest against me in Level 5 now (3'21). It's fun to see some of the tactics some of the higher ups go for. Tam's more based on offense and has the downfall of attacking to much to leave himself open, Surlent's more based around counter-back defense so his downpoint is just wearing him down. The only real thing that's going to beat me out is improving on the tactic that I have, which is attack fast and chain hard (but not necessarily x13s all the time neither). If you can do x13s or so all the time, you'll beat me. |

| Meh I'd like to go against you for the fun of it...But not until I get to my dads later this week...I have everything there. Here...My PC exploded when I was gone...We saved everything but was on our desktops (Because we couldnt save the boot record or the MBR)...Guess what was on my desktop...ZSNES and Tetris Attack. You'd think I can redownload them, but I cant, as when I go to download something...It goes haywire...God this sucks. | |||

| Well, Hiryuu, that was right. But just to see my own weak point (like many others) - I have issues with clearing garbage, on the other hand I clear it and get at least a x5 or x6 usually - it is weak, but gives me a little more time and the opponent making to clear himself that block, so I could try to set up something. I also checked the movies on that bigger Tetris Attack page (the two words are the main parts of the page; due to two ROMs in its download section I must not link to it), also some techniques like Stealth, the Late Slip and the last two ones still are tricky for me - I also slowly improve by clearing more horizontal panels, while a chain is going. The other reason is simply lacking experience: That game is out since a longer time, I know it only since 2003, I played maybe a few weeks, then let the game down and began playing just for fun again in May 2005 (wanted to beat at least Hard without a continue - now my aim is to achieve that _constantly_ in Very Hard mode and even some day to defeat the level 7 CPU in Time Trial; currently my stats in 2P VS against lv. 7 CPU are about equal/only slightly better (something like 5-3 for me) and in TT I beat the Level 6 CPU to about 50% of the time. But give two more years - and I maybe even could score one win in ten games against Abusred Rib, Hiryuu an such Other than that I'll start studying "Japanese studies" next month (finally), so I will cut down my time here obviously.
