My favorite type of level is the level that does more than what it is supposed to. Sure, you have Pipe Mazes and Ghost Houses, where puzzles can be confusing, but what about something... different?

I like levels that just are completley different from the rest. Levels that just use simple things and look and feel so awesome. Some ideas I have never seen but have come up with are such levels as the ones I am talking about.

Like there would be a level with some door. The doors would "flip" gravity, but would simply use exits to simulate this effect. Something like that would be interesting to see.

Or levels that involve changing the enviroment to pass it. A bridge on fire would be hard to get by, but enter a door, and walk the frozen bridge then.

Levels that just are different, and aren't too cliche are awesome.

I am different...

How about this?

I just finished making alevel which I think is pretty unique. You have to use grinders as your things to Spin Jump on to cross large gaps - the jumps start easy, but them, the path becomes more twisted, obstacles get in the way, and after the midway point, you have to use ON/OFF switches to control the path of the grinders you Spin Jump on, to cross pits.

I just was sitting here, and made that in a level. I don't think anyones ever made it before, so it's unique

You used that in the beginning of your hack, right SoNotNormal. I remember dying a lot when I didn't time a spin jump right.

It's not unique. I made a level like that in my hack, Mariostrocity. And it wasn't cool then. Spin jumps like that suck, and as soon as somebody finds the address I'm going to remove spin jumps altogether. It's hard and spinning to avoid taking damage from spikes is a stupid concept altogether. Nintendo never should have implemented it.

Yeah, but I only used that for like two jumps, the first chainsaw part (I think it was only 3) and the second (3). I realized - Grinder are really easy to Spin Jump on and follow - I made it to the midway point of that level no problem. But that's just me - if other people hate it, I'll delete the level altogether.
