Which are you? I love steak. I'm eating it as I write. But stew is good, so I voted for 2. (edited by Ikuzou on 08-15-05 07:48 AM) |

It feels as though many people suddenly go vegetarian just to have some sense of moral superiority. And before the discussion starts, it is very possible to maintain a healthy diet and have all the vitamins and whatnot needed as a vegetarian. It's just a helluva lot harder. |

Hey, wait for me, I also want some steak, lol. What the h*** would the world be like without it? Or without meat, for that matter? I'm quite lucky when it comes to food, because even though I eat quite much steak, cheese, junk food and all that crap, I'm thin. I guess my body gets rid of the fat very fast. |

Chicken is so overated. Nah, Chicken is great. It's just something you can easily get a lot, so maybe that's why I'd say I prefer turkey. |

This isn't really a quote, but I put it in a blockquote anyways... Odd. I always thought you were a herbivore if you only eat vegetables and such, a carnivore if you eat only meat, and an omnivore if you eat some of each Maybe that's not what the question is actually asking, but it certainly sounds like it To answer that question, I'd choose the "Meat" option. I used to eat vegetables as a kid, although that was only because I wouldn't get any dessert if I didn't eat them Most of the time the vegetables at supper consisted of either peas or corn anyways, which wasn't much of a selection. As of now, I haven't eaten vegetables, or greens on a whole in quite a while. The only time I'll make an exception to that is when I absolutely have to eat them, which, as should be fairly obvious, is pretty rare. I should say that by "absolutely have to eat them" I'm talking about if I was out for supper with someone outside of my family, or when I'm extremely hungry and there's nothing else available. However, if we're having stew, steak 'n veggies (that's what we call it ) or something similar to those for supper, it's a forgone conclusion that there's going to be vegetables in it. In those cases, I'll eat whatever's there. When it comes to meat, it's obviously what we have for supper most of the time. I like pretty much any kind, except liver. Even when there's bacon bits mixed in amongst the pieces of meat, I can't stand the stuff. We actually haven't had it since I was quite a bit younger, but I still remember what it tasted like So in short, I much prefer meat over vegetables, as long as it's not liver |

Both really. I don't like too much meat or anything. A lot of delis will pound on the meat, like they're trying to get rid of it, so I'll take a lot of it off and save it for future sandwiches or something. I don't like it when it interferes with other tastes. Steak is great and all, but it's just not appealing without side dishes to go with it. I could never be a vegetarian though. I was very picky as a kid with vegetables (who wasn't?), but now I'll happily eat a lot of them. Is there any truth behind the argument that it's okay to eat fish because they have no feelings? Just curious. |

STEAK!!!!!!!!! Yep, definitely steak. Veggies are good too, but meat is better. Nothing beats french fries with some steak and an ice cold Coca Cola. < (edited by Darth Coby on 08-15-05 03:07 PM) |
