Haven't had the chance. Plus, no one likes Kansas. Well SlipKnot does but, no real big fests or tours.

Haven't gotten to go anywhere this year.
I guess there are three different annual festivals that would be really fun to go to; T in the Park, Glasto, and Roskilde. Of those three, I think I'd prefer T in the Park. And who knows, maybe I'll get around to going there next year?

We've had them here in Sac but I've never gone. I don't think I know anyone who has . It's not exactly my type of music but it seems interesting enough

I went to 2004 Warped tour, was supposed to go to Pop Disaster tour 2002, but my sister decided I wasn't cool enough and left me at home. I also went to a No Doubt/Blink 182 concert in San Diego last summer, and when I was 8.. an N'sync concert. I know.
I would love to see Green Day on their American Idiot tour, they'll be around here in October.. but I'm pretty sure I'll never get tickets for that.

I live in Alaska which, believe it or not, is actually a part of the USA. Bands don't seem to recognize that fact, though.

So, if there are any concerts they are either washed up bands or bands that no one knows about. For example, at this years state fair we have several bands including Chubby Checker (remember that guy who did the twist?) and The Donnas (who?).

I did attend a Hilary Duff concert in Los Angeles, mainly because my sister and cousins were going. Better than sitting around my aunts house...

Aw you went to warped, yeah im jealous.

Around here im friends with the local bands so its pretty much just local show after local show. You cant really crowd surf with 20-100 people in a dinky YMCA building.

Just got back from seeing Dredg. Think you're excited? Feel THESE nipples!

(Only quibble is they didn't play "Convalescent".)

I'm so happy that even I know that..yay Im not that slow as people who don't do many concerts there..

I didn't attend a concert like Warped Tour or anything but a Christina Aguilera one with Destiny's Child and a whole bunch of other people you've never heard of. I guess that didn't make it out since I haven't heard of those people yet and that was when I was 13..so about 5 years ago

Funny this thread is here right now. I'm going to the Warped Tour TODAY.

The Bands

And, according to thier online poll, the Dropkick Murphys are going to be playing for an extra 10 minutes. Today is grand.

I went to Live 8 in Hyde Park this year, I don't think anything can ever top that

Apart from that I've not been to any big rock festivals, I've been to several eisteddfods but they're more folky music.

Concerts have gotten tedious and boring for me. Sure, I like seeing some of the bands I love...but by the time they play, I'm usually kind of tired out by standing and watching and listening to all of the opening bands, which usually don't thrill me. That and shows cost quite a bit of money...more money than to go see a movie, which I enjoy more than concerts, but rarely ever go and do.

That said, though, I'll be going to see Coheed and Cambria the next time they play in Minneapolis, which is in October. They'll be playing with dredg (whom I love) and The Blood Brothers (whom I like), as well as mewithoutYou, whom I've never really paid attention to or listened to, so I don't know if I'd like them, but probably not.

Then Nine Inch Nails also plays in October...and it's in a stadium, which I've never seen a show at before. I oughta go get tickets soon... I might be going alone, though. I doubt anyone else would pay to go see them with me.

And then in November, Bauhaus plays. I might like to go see them.

I haven't been to any concerts at all, seriously. Many bands just don't feel like performing in a small city like the one I live in.

Oh, it'll happen. Toad's Place is allegedly a legendary venue, but most of their shows suck and are of bands no one's heard of. Last night was Dredg's first time in CT and they've been going for 10 years now...

I've only been to one, and it was part of Metallica's Madly In Anger with The World Tour, on October 4th, 2004.

Probably going to some other concerts, soon.

Back when the city I live in had 75'000 citizens the Rolling Stones played a court-ordered concert because they caught Keith Richards with his drizzugs!

Perhaps someone will shoot someone or smoke some crack on camera in your city.

To be honest I wouldnt wanna ever go to live 8, all mainstream bands/artist. Plus its hardly any rock once so ever. Simple plan doesnt count, at all.

I think the most fun shows ive been to are the ones with local bands and everyone in the building knows the lyrics. We all end up on-stage singing with them.
