That's been mentioned sooo many times, by so many people, in so many threads, you'd think it'd be implimented by now. Those options will come in VERY handy when posting code. No more having to edit your post or add <z> tags to keep something:(blah blah blah); from turning into somethingblah blah blah);

Which was suggested in my post right above yours.

But, as Elric said, this has been suggested -a lot-.

Just hopefully they'll consider it for 2.0, or something.

Oops, sorry. I either skipped through your post out of laziness because it was too big, or somehow got reminded of this suggestion by reading your message, no matter how stupid that sounds. :p

But yeah, I knew it had been brought up before... but it doesn't hurt to bring it up again until it's finally implemented.

Clicking the 'new' icon for a thread should take you to the last post you made/read in the thread. And a 'text only' layout could be neat.

For double-posting, just make it that you can't post within an hour of your previous post, unless someone else does.

Another request: you know those pages saying you did something wrong, like you didn't put a title in your thread etc ? Well, you should make sure all of them stay up long enough...

For instance, I was doing Registration tests on my board, and there was that page telling me the e-mail address I typed was already used or whatever... That message wasn't even displayed for one second before it redirected me. That is just wrong...

Yeah, it'd be better if they didn't redirect. I keep missing them.

For your own current board, you can modifiy that. You'll have to find every page that has a redirect in it, and change the wait time. By default, it's set to 0. Setting it from 3-5 seems to work fine for me.

But yeah, that should be made into a var set in funtion.php for future versions, so you can do something like $redir(n), where n == the time you want it to wait before redirecting.

Yeah, but I have no idea what they all are, there's probably a good load of them...

I imagine you would just search for 'refresh' or 'meta'. It wouldn't even be too hard to change their actual value to a variable so that you could edit it from one central place later.

Okay, thanks. I'll look into that later. (Edit: You actually have to look for "redirect(")

By the way, yeeeet another suggestion: Mass options for topics. (only for moderators and above)
That would consist in having check boxes near all topics, to be able to mass move/delete/close/whatever them. Just like the recently implemented feature to sort your PM box.

That has probably been requested a good load of times as well. I know I requested it something like 4 years ago, back when I was using v1.65...
