| "Yes, you saved my life... and I'm simply repaying the favor! Lighten up!" Giggling, Yiusi twirls around three times, and the Ball hovers circles around her in the opposite direction, filling the air with little gold sparkles. At the same time, the Yiusi Ball hovers above Yiusi's head and splits into 7 small Balls, which fly over to Janus and orbit him in a wide circle. "And you know, you didn't HAVE to save me... it was your choice, wasn't it? Why do you suppose you did that?" Now it's finally Yiusi's turn to make the other guy think. |

| "Well, alright..." The spinning spheres suddenly launch themselves one at a time towards Janus at a fast speed. They come from almost every angle, and each hit would do light damage (but of course, read data too). Still, a lot of hits would add up to something pretty powerful. "He doesn't seem very happy anymore," Yiusi thinks... |

| Janus' eyes shot open, flaring an azure hue as he grinned. Janus: "Now that's...." A quick whirlwind and the first of the spheres was deflected far outward... "...what I'm talking about!" Moving gracefully, Janus batted each sphere away from him, swinging his hammer to and fro like some kind of psychotic baseball player. He even managed to bat one of the spheres at another, causing an oraclastic clash of energies that'd probably produce some kind of worryingly dangerous result. Janus leapt into the air and out of the mass of spheres (well, it wasn't that big a mass, seeing as how there were only seven of them, meaning he assumed the spheres had another 360 x 2piR^2 - 7 angles to cover before they let up on him, but it was still pretty mass-like), landing cooly on the rooftop. He smiled at Yiusi. Not too shabby... "Alright, you're better than the average person. I'll give you that. But you're really gonna have to try harder than that to impress me. 'Course, the question here is who is SUPPOSED to be doing the impressing, if you catch my drift. I suppose traditionally it's the guy, but I've never been one for tradition. So come on, let's up the ante a bit!" Moving into melee, Janus dashed at Yiusi, hopping into a slide that sent him underneath her dress (nice view? She'd never know if he looked...) and into a rather clever attempt at a trip maneuver. When he jumped out of the slide, he kicked downward, sending him to his feet and into a handspring, which he came out of like a panther, hurling his weapon at breakneck speed toward Yiusi. |

| As Janus prepares his attack with his short speech, the small spheres fly from all around and gather back to Yiusi's right hand, forming into a whole thing again. It is now glowing brightly. "I've always loved Oracle energy," she adds as Janus slides, throwing the ball right at him. It moves faster than usual, and if it hits the damage would be a small bit larger... If the ball connected with Janus's hammer in any way, Janus would receive a powerful shock and take double damage. The reason for this: After Janus batted the spheres away, each sphere that was batted read data on Janus's hammer... and it has now adapted to this particular fighting style by adjusting it's own energy signature to combat his hammer style. Yiusi's intention would be to stop Janus in his tracks with the ball, but if the ball doesn't stop him, the trip would be successful, and Yiusi would TRY to roll back onto her feet as quickly as possible. |

| Janus sees the ball and adapts his plan a bit. Though it bounces off the ground and presumably back at Yiusi's face as he slides through her legs, he foregoes the trip maneuver and instead continues his spring. Rather, however, than hurl his hammer at her, he simply swings it, detaching the head from the weapon and sending THAT at her instead. The handle remains in his hands and extends itself to about his height... A bo staff! He windmills it around a bit, and charges her with it, his speed keeping up with his flying hammer head in order to try to double-team her with it. Seeing as how this action took all of about seven seconds, there wasn't much more time for flirtatious banter... |

| "You're fast..." The ball hovers and corkscrews around Yiusi, not in her shield maneuver but in a different, more dazzling performance... The ball leaves a trail of sparkling air behind it, enshrouding Yiusi with stars, and then Yiusi jumps seemingly straight up, leaving a trail of sparkling could behind her. The Hammerhead, probably moving in a straight line, misses her... but Janus, of course, has the option of changing course and following her in the air. If he does: Being caught in the glitter stings and does tiny damage, but it goes away after a while. Janus would have to be careful not to fly through the sparkling clouds. Either way: Yiusi's jump brings her high in the air and lands her on the other edge of the building, then the Ball stops spinning and returns to her hand. She prepares to throw it. Uh-oh... I forgot about my spiritual bond with the Yiusi Ball. I feel it growing, taking over." Yiusi reminds herself that in a bit of turns or so, she'll merge with her Ball. (She can't help it once she gets in battle; the ball and her soul automatically begin fusing slowly the moment she or her foe makes the first move.)(For more info on the merge, check Yiusi's Profile.) |

| Janus: "Cyclone!!!" He reacts along with Yiusi's jump by going in a direct 90 degree angle with his previous charge, and up! Satchel lands safely on the ground near the edge of the rooftop as Janus jumps upward and begins whirling his staff around himself while spinning in the air, blowing the glitterdust away from him and giving him safe passageway to Yiusi. He reaches her as she rises in the air and holds his staff in his left hand as he grabs her gently by the shoulder in his right. He looks into her face in that instant where there is no action and smiles... "Heh, I like your style..." Laughing like he hasn't laughed in a very, very long time, Janus drops her as Satchel flies beneath his feet and he watches her fall. He zooms down past her and gets right beneath her as she plummets to the ground, placing the staff back inside of Satchel and bracing himself once he hits the rooftop upon which they were fighting. Janus grins and catches her in his arms, setting her unscathed form on the cement and taking a few steps backward. He bows courteously to her. "Well, your move next, milady." |

| "I like your style as well," she says after back on the cement. She holds the Yiusi Ball like a baseball pitcher. "Okay, this one's in gratitude of Schwa... Dimmension Ball!" And she throws a fastball to Janus, but this time the Ball is glowing purple. Should it come 5 feet from Janus, it'll become a small explosion of raw psychic energy (variable damage), then return to Yiusi's hand in normal ball form. "Keep this up! I feel alive!" |

| Janus grins... Janus: "Batter up!" He holds his hammer like a baseball bat, and as the Royal Ball comes toward him, rears back, preparing to swing. However, just as the ball reaches him, he suddenly disappears in a burst of surprise speed, reappearing right next to Yiusi and swinging at her, instead. | "Wha? ...Oh." Janus's swing nails Yiusi, as she doesn't have nearly enough time to prepare for the sudden reappearance of his position. The fair girl flies backward and right off the edge of the building. The ball chases her. The ball has just enough time to catch her, orbit around her at a fast speed, and levitate her back up to the building, setting her on her feet. But Janus would most likely wonder, alarm, and act, before Yiusi has a chance to be rescued by the Yiusi Ball. After all, this is probably not what Janus had in mind by his own attack. |

| But just as Yiusi flies over the edge, a hand grips hers and holds her over the edge as the Yiusi Ball flies behind her. No levitating necessary, of course. Janus: "Right, so.... That'd be two times I've saved you now. Wanna try for three?" He smiles and lifts her back onto the rooftop, and ceases his assault for a few more moments. "You know, out of all of this, we're forgetting about that city, Sandsalot. The ball said you wanted to go there, right? Well, it's pretty obvious that you're gonna need some help getting there, especially now that the Speedway is closed. You still up for a journey, or did I hit you TOO hard?" |

Yiusi makes her way back onto the building top, on her feet... and right as she does, her body begins to glow white as her Ball spins around her, faster and faster... "Oops! I forgot about my Bond Trick..." 12 turns! It's been 12 turns since the battle started, and Yiusi is merging with the Ball whether she likes it or not. Out of all the times this has happened, this is the only time that it's ever happened at a bad time. Yiusi seems to be changing form... |

This was new. Kinda frightening. Kinda creepy. Kinda alluring, he guessed. But somehow this didn't seem like your run-of-the-mill "girl thing" to do. In fact, this seemed excessively dangerous. | As the ball reaches max speed orbiting Yiusi, it moves closer to her, splits into many small spheres, and is absorbed into Yiusi's body. At once, a rainbow-colored prism, shaped like a perfect 3D diamond, materializes around Yiusi as she hovers a foot in the air, suspended by nothing. A sillouhette of Yiusi's body is all that is visible through the prism. As she finishes the transformation, the prism's color changes to a solid blue (but still slightly transparent). Yiusi has finished morphing. She is now Prism Yiusi. "Oh shoot," she says to Janus, speaking through her mind to his. "I didn't count on this happening... I can't help it. Every time I begin a battle, even a playful one, the Ball's soul slowly begins merging with mine until we eventually assume this form." Pause. Then, "Do me a favor and destroy this Prism. Don't worry, I can't feel pain in this form." Seems more like an order than a request... A desperate order, at that. |

| Janus: "Yeah, no problem. You probably shouldn't be fighting then, if your weapon of choice also happens to turn you into some kind of horrifyingly powerful creature... I mean, I've seen some fucked up shit in my time, but this really does reach for the skies." He methodically raised his right hand to about head level, clenched it into a fist, and grabbed his wrist with his left. His right hand began to glow with a brilliant white light... "Why don't you retire from the fighting scene for a while? Become a wanderer, like me. It's fun. 'sides, it's not like you actively lose the ability to cause wanton destruction on a whim... If anything, you're given more creative opportunities to do so." He didn't even bother with going Trinity mode this time... Grey could go fuck himself. Janus would have no part of those hokey theories unless it had something directly to do with his own storylines. As it stood, he was powerful enough on his own... |

Yiusi seems to be aware that Janus is charging up energy... at least, that's what she preceives. "I already am a wanderer. I only fight to defend myself, and you're the first person I ever made the challenge to. Before it's always been the other way around. Guys pursuing me and all that... You know how it is... Or do you? I can assume it would be at least difficult to have empathy for a, in your words, 'incredibly cute' Oracle girl." She says the last part with a hint of sadness. |

| Janus: "Yeah, I actually think I might. Fist of the Grey Dawn!!!" At that point, Janus reared back, and punched forward with his glowing, excessively charged fist, releasing a huge, story-battle-sized wave of pure Light energy from it that blew toward Yiusi and spread to about the width of a football field as it shot forward. The blast shot out into space, and for a second the entire cityscape was illuminated in its brilliant light, which radiated like a midnight sun, casting a moonlight shadow upon the rooftops.
