This is a riddle I heard a while ago, nobody I've asked has been able to figure it out. Let's see if an Acmlmer can. If you already know this riddle and the answer, try to refrain from giving it away.
There is an elephant that weighs 2 tons, and 2 baby elephants that weigh 1 ton each. They are walking together and get to a river. There is a ferry they can take to get across it, but it can only hold 2 tons at a time AND one of them has to drive it. How do they all get across?

Seems easy enough. (Without looking at Smallhacker's spoiler):

Spoiler:
0) All the elephants are on one side (-/Abb)
1)The two baby elephants go across, one drives the ferry. (bb/A)
2) One of the baby elephants drives the ferry back. (b/Ab
3) The adult elephant drives the ferry across. (bA/b)
4) The other baby elephant drives the ferry back. (A/bb)
5) The two baby elephants cross again, one of them driving (Abb/-)

Spoiler:
Two small elephants cross, one comes back, big elephant crosses, small one comes back, both small go across. Win!

That was easy =P

Edit: Fixed spoiler. -N

..which just goes to show that the smart people are at Acmlm's. I got it after a lot of thinking, but then again, I was maybe 11 years old when I heard it.
Nobody I've asked since then has gotten it! Way to go guys.
I don't.. quite.. understand Smallhacker's post, but I'm willing to bet he knows the answer.

Looking at Smallhacker's post, it looks like it's set up in the following manner:

Side A --- Boat --- Side B

And yeah, he's got the answer.
