Ah, EmptyEye is right. Which means I have no idea what the cartoon is. This sucks.

I loved Inspector Gadget though. I remember being really excited when THAT movie came out (I KNOW this is a movie >8( ) and seeing it more than once with my friends. Hehe.

I also remember Guts. I loved that!!

NICK ARCADE. Geeheehee. Although Legends of the Hidden Temple was the King Shit of all them post-Double Dare shows. The only good thing about Guts was Moira Quirk...'s accent.

Ah yes, Nick Arcade.

I actually went to a Nickelodeon Live thingie when I was....oh, 11 or so. One of the events there was a Nick Arcade thing.

It's actually not that impressive behind the curtain, though I suppose how they go from what the people do to the finished product (Bah, it's late, I'm phrasing this horribly) is kinda cool.

Do you have a picture of that? I got to see it. I only seen someone dress up as Quail Man in a play in Florida about 6 years ago but I have forgotten if he dressed up exactly like the real Quail Man.

Speaking of old game shows and Florida, I did appear on TV once during a game show called Figure It Out! in Florida of course. I also like Wild 'N Crazy Kids and Legend of the Hidden Temple game shows.

Eh, cool enough for 4 AM reruns on GAS. ;P I was pissed about LotHT, though. I was right in their wheelhouse, age-wise, for the first season. Parents wouldn't let me go.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw the commercial for that. Depending on how much it is I'm going to get it some day.

Speaking of old games shows does anyone remember the game show of Where in the world is Carmen Sandiago? or the show for that matter?

Also anyone remember when the Ace Ventura cartoon was on Nickelodeon? I think all this remembering of old shows makes me want to see them again for old times sake. Oh and I never heard of Captian N. It sounds pretty cool though.

That show was awesome! I still listen to the theme song, hehe.

I always used to get pissed at the kids when they sucked at putting those marker things on the map for the final game.

I love conversations like this.

Here's my master list of shows that earned my heart throughout my childhood:

Doug
Rugrats
Legends of the Hidden Temple
Nick Arcade
Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? (Ditto on the theme and the endgame, two of the coolest things to ever happen in a game show, even though I don't think the kids could EVER find Madagascar, and these days they're making MOVIES about it)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (true fans will spell it all the way out, yo, and once the movie came out, I entered the stage where being an MMPR fan was lame; it HAS become cool again to talk about the Green Ranger and his silly flute)
GUTS/Global GUTS
Roundhouse
Ren & Stimpy (My mother found it disgusting but still let me watch it)
Double Dare (rather enjoy the family version, anything before or after really doesn't grab me)
Ch-ch-ch-Chip 'n' Dale's! RESCUE RANGERS! (I played the NES game to death)
Tale Spin (commonly did not keep watching once the theme was over)
Tiny Toon Adventures (provided me with my first exposure to They Might Be Giants)
Animaniacs
Rocko's Modern Life (Mom wasn't bothered by this for some reason. Must've been the B-52's)
The Angry Beavers (Towards the end of its run, I was watching this every morning at about 5 AM, it's the only time they'd show it...I think that was about three years ago )

Yeah, Spongebob Squarepants is also decent but it took me a few times to watch it to realize it was an okay show . At least now I could last through a whole episode since my baby sister really likes it. When I first watched it I was like.."wtf?"

Hmm..there was this one cartoon on PBS, I think it was called Arthur but I used to watch that at my Grandma's too in the afternoon XD there was this other cartoon too but I can't remember what it's called..it was like a goose..can't remember it was so long ago.

When I first saw Spongebob, I also said "wtf"? No matter how many times I saw the show, I just plain hated it because he acts retarded. Then, when the movie came out, well I don't want to go there. The previews were just stupid and the one part of the preview where Spongebob's pants comes off for no reason just to show his ass was wrong yet kids still find that funny.

DarkVampirel - Biker Mice from Mars! Wow that brings back memories, actually, I only got to watch that if I was off school, "Mrs Pepperpot" spelled the fact I was LATE for school and Biker Mice from Mars was afterwards.

No on'e mentioned Bananaman and Dangermouse though, nor have they mentioned Trap Door.

"BERK! FEED ME!!!"

It's occured to me that all; the above were Brit shows, but still, are there no Dungeons and Dragons fans here? or Jayce abnd the Wheeled Warriors? What about Uylesees 31?

Trapster - It was also a cartoon, in which these High school kids go on this amusement ride and are sucked into a parralell dimension, I never found out if they got home...

it had a lot of the D & D charcters in it, including the Dungeon Master who was this short bloke.

Im glad I didn't see the movie. I wouldn't pay to see it

Everyonce in awhile a few years ago I'd watch "Pepper Ann". I think it was on either the Disney challen or ABC.

I saw the Ace Ventura cartoon before! I don't think I remember it being on Nickeloden though..
