I have very little hacking time these days. I'm not going to say that I'm giving this whole thing up, but I am going to say that I am going to be on hiatus from it for awhile until I have more time. See, the good thing is that although the data shown isn't a TON, there are methods included for finding the rest of the data that was left out. Oh, and if someone is going to finish recording the level header locations, please don't forget all the hidden rooms.

Have fun.

Major props to Bbitmaster for teaching me how to use FCEUXD to find all the data in the world, and to Parasyte for the compression work. I know a few people here and there found some data, so sorry if I didn't give you props in the doc.

This isn't a lot, but hopefully it can be a starting point. Even though it has been nearly a year since I started looking at the rom, I have not had really much time at all in the recent months to look into it, which is why the doc is (in my opinion) disappointingly small. But hey! It's a hell of a lot more than any other KA hacking doc that I've seen.

EDIT: if anyone wants to continue this, MAKE SURE you read how to find the level data with FCEUXD and how to find the object data headers. I know I only have a couple of bytes on object data, but this is mainly because long ago all of my notes were destroyed and I had to restart. I have included the method that allows you to find every single object header in the game. Every single one. So really, you can fill up the entire object data section in a few weeks if you had the time. Hopefully someone has enough interest to finish this up, because I'll be on vacation and doing a lot of work in the coming weeks, meaning there won't be much time for me to finish it up myself.

EDIT2: oh yea... and um.... theres a lot of other stuff I didn't find, too.

Just want to say that I don't know about others but I am having a ball with this information. I may even make a quick sprite/header hack or something!(being that compressed data editing is quite hard without an editor to sort things out) Just want to let you know I am greatfull you released this information... let's just hope eventually somebody makes an editor, because there is enough information for one I'd think. Or atleast a de/recompressor program...

There is a decompressor already. In fact, Parasyte made it and released all of his notes along with it. It is a command line decompressor, but it is easy to use.

It is called UnKirby and it ONLY decompresses. Bbit said he was going to mess around with trying to make a program that recompresses it also, but he has had a schedule that is just as busy as, if not busier than mine, and also a lot of other projects that have taken priority over that one. This is understandable. But yea, at least you can decompress it already.

You spent hours? xD Heh.

Anyway, thanks for the other enemy/object values that I never bothered sifting through. That deserves some recognizable credit... I guess I can mess around with the other offsets you have there... though "pointer of some sort" isn't a good starting place for finding out something.

It's cool though. Thanks.
