It's not uncommon for my cat to go missing for a whole day. She gets into loads of fights, but she's the eldest down our road, so she never comes back hurt. There are usually loads of fights down our road, you can hear cats moaning and screaming at each other every other night. Suburbia thinks it's more and more cool to get more and more cats.

That reminds me of my old cat Vegemite (an Australian sandwich spread that 100% of people outside of Australia hate).
She used to always get into fights and come out victorious. She'd even go to the paddock (field) where the horse was and scare away the dogs that were terrorising the poor horse. She was about 13 when a dog attacked her. The bastard shattered her leg and gave her internal bleeding. I've always hated dogs for what they do to cats. We had to get her put down the next day.

So after that, any stray dog that's came into our yard, I've donned my steel-cap boots, and gone on little hunts.

Now I have a black cat named Kitty, and her son named Whiskey. Whiskey's alot bigger than his mother, but has some white on him. Kinda makes him look like he's wearing a tuxuedo.
