| Hey all. If you have a broken heart, or want to give us with broken hearts inspiring words to mend us all, then, that would work. I've seen some people going through a break up, people already over a breakup... People watching their first love's fall away without being able to do anything to stop them... First I would like to say this. I think I'm giving up on the whole... love thing. I don't want to even try. My heart is as black as a vaccuum... But to all my fellow broken hearted people, don't give up! There is still hope for you. If your significant other isn't talking to you... It's probably because they are so upset that they are losing you too. <-- You know that this is for you. So, have a drink on me, and pour your heart out here. | Keikonium: First of all.. Sorry about the whole loss. Things will get better, then worse, then better again... etc. I wish you the best in your endeavors. Secondly... My ankle should be doing better in about a month. I have to get surgery at 5:00pm Friday, July 8, 2005. They are putting in a 9 inch long steel plate and 10 pins/screws... | hmm...a new club? i've been burned pretty badly once...it was my only time. i just broke through my depression and though I found someone for me. lo and behold she already had a boyfriend and my happiness meter crash worse than before. it took me quite a while to get over it. it was so bad I'd tried to avoid her, wrote cryptic messages trying to feel bad, placed in her an uncomfortable position feelings-wise to the point I made her cry, etc. eventually, the distance between us was overcome and we became acquiantences again. but that summer after I was burned sucked ass... anyways, i've moved on to someone much, much, much more special...although, because of circumstances, we really can't be together  (edited by neotransotaku on 07-07-05 01:27 AM) |

| tween? you don't mean teen correct? i adore my best friend a lot so I may feel the same way he does about you; as for my best friend, not sure what she feels right now--she has never really told me  because at the time I "confessed," she was in the mode of taking a break from relationships. So, yeah--after 1 year, I think she is still in that break. But she treats me as a very close friend, so things may not be hopeless after all...um...if your best friend really cares about you a lot, he'll wait and respect your decisions; just like I am waiting for my best friend and respecting her decision to be on a break. maybe in time, if things develop you'll be able to carry a relationship again--but that depends on how you to get through this period and the years ahead. you should be glad someone out there (outside your family) cares for you. so, don't take it for granted...i'm not sure what else to say but... this is a good thing. so yeah...just do what you feel is best for you and if he really is a good friend to you, he'll respect your decisions. |

| I fail at love. Sometimes I wish I was better at wooing the opposite sex, then I realize the horrid position I'd be in if I had a female acquaintance of love's fancy. I'm saving for college, can't really afford to date or do really nice things that I'd want to, and I really don't know anyone I'd like to get to know that way, and for now, the extra time before college = win. I definitely am not going to try and jump into a relationship right now. I can't take it, mentally or physically. But, The wierd thing happened yesterday, my surgery which was supposed to happen today, they changed it to yesterday. Everything went alright... I had to stay overnight in recovery, because my heart slowed down more than it should have from the anastegia(sp?). Well, when I got to the room where I could have visitors, my friend came in and gave me flowers and a card, and a chocolate shake from McDonald's...  He is a sweetie. I told him I needed some time to figure myself back out, and that after that, would I consider the fact of me dating him. He told me he would wait until the world ended for me. So, hopefully, he meant it... Well, that's all for now. Xeomega - You will meet a girl this year. Senior year, it's always the best. If not, college is really really easy to meet new people... so, Best of luck to you. kt |

| Well switch sides with your guy friend and me towards someone else on wanting to go out with. I'm waiting for my friend to ask me out since I know he really likes me and I really like him. I swear me and my guy friend, Matt, went through almost the same situation when we broke up with our ex's. Except his ex gf is being retarded and thinks they're going to get back together, which I know he won't. Sorry if I offend anyone but she's a dumb blonde, literally speaking in my case, for thinking that way when I have no idea why he would try to be her friend after she treated him horribly. So right now I've been thinking really curageous on asking him out but keep avoiding the question when I talk to him. Plus I can't believe how quickly I got over my ex and was liking Matt, whom I remember seeing at my high school before he graduated before me and just got aquainted with earlier this year. |

| Every one of my past girlfriends has cheated on me, including the one I was close to for two years of my life. Most of the relationship consisted of her accusing me of doing or wanting to do the same thing despite that fact that I never had nor had ever even thought about it. The funny thing about relationships which entail things such as this is that when it happens, they just kind of shrug it off and go about their merry way. You see couples breaking up all the time and you think to yourself "Well that's them, and that could never happen to me." But the fact is it does, and most likely will. I gave up a couple of years ago and haven't even dated since then. Love is dead and relationships are a joke these days. You spend a great deal of time caring for someone, making sacrifices for them, doing anything they ask and when it all crumbles, you're left with nothing but the knowing that the entire time you spent with them is now a waste. You know what adds insult to inury? Guys get chastised all the time about being "unfaithful dogs" and women are made out to be nothing short of perfect. Pssh, hardly. It's been both my experience and my observations that lead me to believe that women are worse at being faithful. It doesn't really matter though. I've been very lonely for the past couple of years, but I get along by telling myself that it's worth it. The risk isn't worth the reward. I'll be damned if I have to go through heartbreak again. |
