I've even got some of VI's in there I started to panic when Lenophis announced that his next version of Jade will support map editing. I was going to have to move everything over, but in the end decided to keep it on FF1's engine (for now).

You can always throw in set names and classes to FF1 like I did in my hack I was working on if that's the problem. I don't know the data off hand but I posted it in the FF running Q&A topic. That's pretty much the best looking FF hack I've ever seen. I wish I could get the inspiration to continue mine, but every time I go to edit something my mind goes blank.

It looks allright DD, but to make it look more like a forest running into a lake, I'd suggest maybe making the tree placement a little more random and less boxy on the right of the lake. That way it will look like the forest is thinning out as it gets closer to the lake.

I like your world layout DD, which world is that?

I have some screenshots for my upcoming hack of SMW codenamed Super Fabio World:

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b68/fabio1021/SPRMARIO0001.bmp

In this picture, Mario died because he couldn't find a way out of the pit of piranhas. He didn't know that the pit contained invisible music blocks that prevent people from escape. Little did he know that one area in the pit does not have an invisible block.

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b68/fabio1021/SPRMARIO0000.bmp

In this picture, Mario is trying to climb a staircase of bullet bill cannons that work. It's not easy and the clapping' chuck just makes things more annoying. I even have trouble passing that area.

That's just the first level, Yoshi's Island 1. I haven't decided a name for the level yet. Also, this will be my first hack.

Nice level, DD, but I don't understand the way you put all the levels. Some are too far apart, and you can't seem to get to the last action stages until you get to the airship. Is there some kind of catch there?

Someone's been spending a lot of time with SMB2 this weekend. Check some of the changes for SMB2DX!

Animated the Bomb Blocks to look like SMB3 and the ground to do the same. I changed the data of what tiles they use (actually, I did a lot of that to get things to work the way I wanted).

Like using the old bombable blocks graphics space for the stationary holder of the flame shown. The flame is animated using the space between the egg ends (the difference betweeen it and clouds).

Alright! The pyramid actually looks like a pyramid inside. It uses 4 PPU tiles, not 2 as it may appear at first.

The pyramid's outside. Again I redid the data to make it look like the pyramid from SMB3.

With all the PPU changes, this seemed to make more sense.

Boring shot. I changed all the PPU data here to free up more room for tiles to be used. There used to be "eyes" and a "mouth"... it was more like an arch.

Yes, those are animated.

Incrediable use of rearranging the data. The Logs and Whales can be used at the same time without graphical glitches.

The next two screen shots are hard to tell anything by. Basically, I did some ASM work. I made it so when the game is paused, pressing Select on Controller 1 will cause something to happen.

Before:

After:

Too bad I had to pick this spot to prove it. The code I added also doesn't allow the mushrooms to show up in subspace (makes sense, doesn't it), allow 1-ups to be pulled again, activate the Crystal pickup, unlock all doors, and refill your health to full. It comes in pretty handy for hacking being able to quit relying on hacking the RAM anytime I want to check things out. Though, this will change by the final version (heh, I haven't even began levels yet; I'm waiting to see what is possible with ASM before I limit myself).

I'm full of ideas for my hacks, but there's never enough time to implement them. I'll help you with ideas, if you want.

Oh, and SMB2DX looks great. Can't wait Ice Ranger!

Very nice screens, everyone...

An odd cave has opened up under the mountain that holds Eastgate. What could be the purpose of these Orbs?

Eastgate. Since the Demon War, this town, once one of the greatest states the world has ever known, has been isolated in a vast forest... This is also where your heroes start.

An inprogress screenshot. What could this odd place be?

Oh I have a ton of crazy ideas that I put into a FF hack, I just don't know if I'll ever want to work on it again. Because of all of the new ideas (mainly the new magic system) it made the game incredibly time consuming to hack. The new magic system replaced magic with "Skills." Each of the four characters had thier own individual skill that they could perform. The Archer could shoot different types of arrows, The healer could cast healing spells, The fighter had stat enhancers, and The Specialist had stat decreasers. Even weapons and armor were pretty specific as to who could use what. Just organizing that was taking most of the time that I hacked the game.

**Edit!**
Speaking of hacks I haven't worked on in a while. Just to show that I want to finish my Castlevania hack (but just don't have any ideas for it) I have a screen of the new Title screen I'm working on.

Nice title screen!
As for your hack, sometimes too many good things causes problems. I'd simplify a lot of those. Or at least partner up with someone who can help pull those off. It was a good idea when you first came up with it, and it still is today. If your completly finished with trying to organize it and such, I'll try to salvage it I love seeing how other prople put things together.

SEPH! Did you make this yourself? You can read the Hylian writing?

I'm not too sure what you mean Heian-794..

Well, let's say that using a method of extracting gamecube isos that I found on EmuTalk.Net forums, I extracted GFX from Four Sword Adventures.. That includes houses, castle and other stuff that you can find here in a post I made at ZFGC: http://www.zfgc.com/forum/index.php?topic=18902.0... Yes, I'm misc at that other forum...

I could read hylian if there had a generic hylian signification.. here's different versions found on the web:

http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/7248/hylian32ri.jpg
http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/5939/wwhylianfont9mz.png
http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/1324/numbers9sy.jpg

The first one, I don't understand it since there kanjis and I'm not azn... As for the other ones the numbers seem to correspong but the rest isn't the same.

So as for what the thing above the door says, I'm clueless...

Otherwise I could play the game and see what inside..

The first is probably it; the game would just load a different font when you don't have the book (assuming you're going by the level 2 entrance in LTTP). There could be different versions, though.

Also, DD, nice OW but the levels are too far apart.

The BG looks good, but the blackness behind the water doesn't. The blocks are also a bti bright and plain.
