Uhhh... yeah. I'm bored, and decided to try something new for a change. Plus, the idea has been buggin me for a while  This story is pretty much open to anyone who wants to join... so please, come on in.  And yes, it will have more Dreamlandish elements as a whole... so keep the uber-powerful whatnot to yourself. (Minor magics and skills are fine, grand kill everything skills = no) Other than that, have fun, and enjoy yourself.---------- In a far corner of the dreamland galaxy, sandwiched between two moons, is a small, yellow, star-shaped planet named Popstar. Green hills and lush valleys prevail, while crystal waters hit the shores. Nothing normally happens anymore on this small, yet still beautiful planet, but that hasnt been so for the past few days. The interplanetary festival is taking place this year, and who else is hosting it but Popstar. Booths and rides are set up all over, and people from all over the universe are there; not to mention world leaders. The festival is a traditional event that happens every 5 years, hosted by a different planet each time. Any attraction you can think of, will probably be there. Walking amongst the crowds is a rather tall dreamlander, wearing a loose grey robe, and browsing avidly. He passes by many stands, looking at the random games and rides. Finally, he stops and sits down at a booth. ATW: Ah, my arch rival in gaming... the ring toss. So we meet again. Kirby ATW digs through a pocket in his robe and brings out a few star shaped tokens. He hands them to the man behind the counter. ATW: I'd like a few tosses please. Kirby recieves about 10 rings, and proceedes to throw them at bottles in the ring. He misses every single one. 10 minutes later and a few tokens poorer, he sits prizeless. Frustrated, he watches some of the other people playing, and one person in particular catches his eye. Ever ring he threw managed to land on a bottle. ATW: No... freaking... way. How does he do that? ATW walks over and taps the stranger on the shoulder ATW: Quite the performance... how do you do that? |

| Turning to answer Rhino snatches a couple of stuffed animals to claim as his prizes. Under his grey hood a rather small blue robot is apparently the one with the skilled hand. In the place of any facial features there is a simple white light(This description may be a little confusing unless you view my profile in the Profile Forum, it should be the last one on page 3) Rhino: I am the newest Tra-vis109 model. This type of game is especially compatible with my targeting program. You may call me Rhino. My personality traits are for the most part offline at this moment for they need rest. I would wish to converse more but I must find a person in desire of these prizes before I attempt to win more. EDIT: ooc: I've changed some of my character profile since this post. | OFF: I believe I'll use a villain character!... but don't worry, this one has no quarrel with the heroes and starts up with reasonable powers. This villain may be very, very familiar to fans of the Kirby serie! ____________________________________________________________________ Above the clouds, an gigantic, unseen structure was flying just above the location of the festival... It was the Hyper Zone, the castle of the evil Dark Matter queen, 02! ... Inside of the throne room... ... 02, the Dark Matter queen, was sitting on her throne, inside of her all-new host, a young fairy, completely bored. In the right corner, the Dark Mind Wizard, or simply Nightmare, was awaiting his queen's next orders. Sitting in the back of the room, Dark Meta Knight was meditating. Close to the throne room's exit was an especially large and ederly Dark Matter, 02's general and second-in-command. Right next to the queen was Gooey, the Dark Matter prince. While Gooey was totally against his mother's evil plans, it had been a while since she had tried anything evil and as such, he had decided to return to Hyper Zone to try and live a somewhat normaly family life with his mother... All of them (exept Gooey) were thinking up of new plans to use to destroy the descendant of this good-for-nothing half-breed, Kirby, while a servant was trying to satisfy 02's appetite for negative energies with a new dish made of the unfortunate souls who had captured and executed in order to be used as ingrediants. Servant: "This is a dish of the most outstanding quality, I assure you! Mashed despair in a hot sauce of meaningless deaths with a few crushed lost souls as a spice." The servant placed the dish, which had the shape of a purple steak covered in a strange blood-red sauce, on a table just in front of the evil queen. 02 took a fork and a knife, took a piece out of the dish, and tasted it. 02: "Hmm... you are right..." she said in her usual, bored-sounding, monotone voice. 02: "The cries and despairs of those fools who died only to end up in my plate... such a pleasing sensation... this is truly a feast worthy of the queen that I am..." Slowly, 02 ate the steak. Each time she took a bite out of it, you could hear the cries of pain and despair of the souls within... and 02 was enjoying every bit out of it. Then, half-way trought, she presented a piece of the dish to her son. 02: "Here... taste this despair, my son! You always liked the taste of the lack of meaning in life and death... this will be a tasty harmony to you." Gooey: "Sorry mom but I'm already full. I may sound like a party-breaker but... I don't see the need in torturing mortals. Their life is already a hard lot, mother. We can get more than enough pain and despair to feast for days on end without attacking them!" 02: "You do not understand... as usual... but this doesn't mean you cannot appreciate a carefully prepared dish made out of the best ingredients! Come on... please your mother... taste it..." Gooey: "I already told you! I refuse to feed on the fruits of Evil! I am a Dark Matter... not a demon!" 02 ate the piece, seeing as her son wouldn't eat it. 02: "Munch... munch... tasty... too bad you're so stuck up with those principles of yours. Well, your loss." Nobody said a word as 02 finished her dinner... and then, once she finished, the servant took away the empty plate. 02: "Now... Nightmare? Come over here..." Nightmare placed himself in front of his queen and bowed down. Nightmare: "What is it, my Excellency?" 02: "A festival is taking place below us... and every planet and specie is supposed to be invited there... but as usual, us, the Dark Matters of Dark Star, were not invited. I did not call you to wreck the place and thus, get revenge for this insult however. I called you for a different reason. Kirby's descendant... the descendant of that stupid hybrid you created years ago... he should have been attracted to this event since he's considered a world-class hero. I want you to investigate that annoying festival. Find out if Kirby's descendant is there and if he is... force him to get out of the place and capture him... if possible." Nightmare: "I live to serve, glorious Queen!" Nightmare teleported out of the castle. Dark Meta Knight stepped foward. Dark Meta Knight: "Great Ruler of the Dark Matters... Excuse me but... do you really believe it is wise to send Lord Dark Mind Wizard on his own? He is rather... out there, if you catch my drift." 02: "I know this, of course. Nightmare is stupid... but his stupidity can serve us very well. He will probably be stupid enough to make himself easy to spot thus causing Kirby's descendant to be on guard... and since his bloodline STILL didn't realised that he's my servant even after all those years, they will never espect me to create a fine trap for them." Dark Meta Knight: "You are right, as usual, my Excellency... altought it surprises me they didn't understood yet. Nightmare is called the Dark Mind Wizard... and your real, actual name is Dark Mind, my glorious Queen. Most people would have understood Nightmare's relationship with you..." 02: "You forgot that the Dreamlanders are stupid. If it wasn't from Kirby's bloodline and..." 02 turned toward her son, staring at him in a threatening way. 02: "... and my bothersome, ungrateful son..." 02 turned to Nightmare and retook her usual, bored expression. 02: "... Popstar would have been mine long, long ago." Gooey: "Mother?" 02: "What is it?" Gooey: "You aren't TRULY going to try and kill those who have Kirby's blood flowing into their veins again?" 02: "Does this concern you?" Gooey: "Well... not that much knowing that everytime you fought with them, you lost... but still..." 02: "Know your place, son! I lost to them only becease of slight miscalculations..." 02 suddenly looked very menacing! 02: "... AND WORTHLESS MINIONS!" 02 took back her normal expression. 02: "Anyway... I'm not really going to try and kill the newest descendant, don't worry. I'll just play with him for a while..." Gooey: "I know you just lied... but I guess I won't do anything for now. Maybe you'll finally realise that you can't defeat those who have Kirby's blood flowing in their veins. After all, no matter how perfect your plan seems, they always, ALWAYS wreck it." 02: "Dream on, my son! Anyway... I grow bored of talking. Bring me another dish!" Dark Meta Knight: "I'll go call the servants!" ... During this time, back to the festival... ... Mr. Bright and Shine were (very badly) disguised as dreamlanders and were walking around, trying to locate Kirby's newest descendant whoever it may be... Bright: "Remind me why the boss sent here..." Shine: "Not so loud! We are to find the newest of Kirby's descendants, capture him, for him out of there, and bring him back to the boss!" Bright: "Heh! You're as stupid as usual! We must FORCE him out of here before capturing him!" Shine: "Nope! We have to capture him first and THEN force him out!" Bright: "You're just so dumb! Anyway... we'll separate in order to cover more ground! I'll go to the left! Go right!" Shine: "OK! I'll go to the left! Go right!" | Kirby ATW walked away from the ring toss booth a little disappointed ATW: That guy didnt even bother to talk to me... geez. Ah well, I'm hungry! Kirby walked about the east side of the park, looking at various food stands, and taking in the sites. Finally, a small hotdog stand caught his eye. Kirbys brown eyes lit up as he saw the large hotdogs being served there. He instantly ran towards the stand and hopped up on a nearby step-stool. ATW: I'll take the largest hotdog youve got... with everything on it. Stand Owner: Hungry little fella, aint we? The owner put a rather large and plump hotdog onto an even larger bun Stand Owner: One hotdog, with everything on it... That'll be 30 star credits. ATW dug around in the pocket, and pulled out 30 more tokens. He hands them to the man in exchange for the hot dog. ATW: Thanks again. Time for me to enjoy what I came for! ATW sits down on a nearby bench and munches on his hotdog... taking extra care not to inhale. A few short seconds later, the hotdog is gone, and Kirby is walking along again, perfectly content, and full. He turns a corner and... BAM... he runs into two people shaped like the sun and moon. ATW quickly gets up and fixes his robe, hiding his forehead once again. ATW: Hey, why dont you watch where youre going next time guys. Someone could have gotten hurt. ATW walks away, muttering something about people not paying attention like they used to. |

| Mr.Bright: "Hey! He looks exactely like..." Mr.Shine: "Maybe... but there's something amiss..." Mr.Bright: "Whatever! Let's do this!" The two round beings thrown their capes away, revealing their true forms! They looked exactely like miniature versions of the sun and the moon with eyes and limbs. It was hard NOT to recognise them. They were know trought the entire Universe as Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine, the most incompetant of Nightmare's henchmen!... but while they were stupid, their presence was usually a bad omen... a VERY bad omen. Mr.Bright: "HA! We got you!" Mr.Shine: "You are of the Kirby bloodline, aren't you!" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! He must be! Look at him! It just screams "I'm Kirby"!" Mr.Shine: "What? I don't hear anything!" Mr.Bright: "It was a manner of speaking! Anyway... now to execute our boss's orders... err... what were they again?" Mr.Shine: "Errr... I know! We have to force him to... force him to..." Mr.Bright: "I KNOW! Force him to swallow 3000 hotdogs all at once, choking him!" Mr.Shine: "Hey! That's pretty smart! Let's do this! I grab him while you go get the hotdogs!" Mr.Bright: "OK! I grab him while you go get the hotdogs!" The two jumped toward Kirby ATW!... and crashed into each others just in front of Kirby ATW! Mr.Bright: "Ooow... he's strong!" Mr.Shine: "Oow... I would even say more than that! He's strong!" Mr.Bright: "Yeah... indeed... Shine?" Mr.Shine: "Yes?" Mr.Bright: "Why are we here again?" Mr.Shine: "Err... I believe the boss wants us to capture someone... or something..." Mr.Bright: "Hey! Maybe we were sent to capture him, not to choke him with hotdogs!" Mr.Shine: "You think so? Then... who shall we choke with hotdogs?" The two stared at each others and then turned to Kirby ATW. Mr.Shine: "Hey! Mister Kirby descendant or something like that! I bet you can't wait to be captured, don't you?" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! Capturing people is fun!" Mr.Shine: "Could you tell us who we're supposed to choke with hotdogs, again so we can finish that at once and then carry on with capturing you?" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! | Kirby ATW stared in disbelief. He couldnt figure out whether or not the two in front of him were trying to distract him, or were just genuinely stupid ATW: Capture me? Kirby bloodline? Whoa, whoa... back up guys... I think you've got the wrong person... Kirby pulled a short staff, about 1ft long from a pocket in his robe. It glowed the colors of the rainbow, and was tipped with a rainbow star. ...But since the word capture is involved. A short twirl later, the staff popped into a cloud of smoke, and a jester hat fell out of the cloud, along with another staff. ATW was now Mirror Kirby. Kirby donned the two items, and pointed the staff at the two. ATW: If I remember correctly... you two are Shine and Bright... notorious for being some of the enemies the original Kirby had to deal with... not very smart either. Boy, did you pick the wrong day to try and crash my festival fun. One short wave of the wand later, and the two were contained in their own, seperate, shimmering boxes of light. Kirby removed his cap, popped the Rainbow Rod bck into existance, and pocketed it. Kirby picked up the two boxes of light and walked behind a tent to avoid a crowd. His mind began to race. ATW: Alright... these two buffoons are here looking for the decendant of Kirby... I'm not even sure where he disappeared to, and I'm supposed to be protecting this galaxy. This doesnt bode well with me... Though, I just cant help shake the feeling that I'm overlooking something... |

| A shadow was just behind Kirby ATW, completely unnoticed... and then, it left... ... The figure appeared just before Dark MetaKnight, outside the festival grounds. It was a small blob of minor Dark Matter, a Dark Limba. It was recognisable from the superior Dark Matters thanks to it's unability to remain in the form of a solid sphere, it's yellow eye, and by it's lack of spikes. Dark Limba: "*speak in Dark Matter language*" Dark MetaKnight: "I see..." Dark MetaKnight took out some kind of machine... it was a commununication unit! Dark MetaKnight: "Dark Reaper, Dark Mind Wizard, this is Dark MetaKnight. The reports says the enemy was located. We shall send our armies from all sides as planned. Remember... the leaders of each specie must be CAPTURED. Not killed, not copied, not possessed, CAPTURED! This applies especially to you, Dark Mind Wizard!" Nightmare: "Heh! No need to remind me! Were the two captured as planned?" Dark MetaKnight: "Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine are in position, in the festival grounds. As soon as they will have released the Dark Veil, the Dark Troopers will begin the assault, followed by the Dark Limbas, and finally, followed by possessed creatures. We shall lead our individual armies ourselves and as we see fit... but still remember to stick to the plan!" Dark Reaper: "Indeed! Now, Dark Mind Wizard! Send the order to your two buffoons to release the Dark Veil!" Nightmare: "First, they're not buffoons. Second, I'll send the order right away!" ... Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine stared at each others as they were trapped within the light cubes... and then... they received the signal... Mr.Bright: "Err... the boss wants us to do it..." Mr.Shine: "I guess we shall do it then?" The two sphere-shaped villains took out some kinds of vials containing a black liquid and then spilled their content on the ground... The black liquid passed trought the cubes' floor and then infiltrated the ground... Quickly enough, large, thick cloud formed in the sky... looks like it's about to rain... and judging from the number of clouds and how black they are, it's going to be a big storm! If you looked very carefully, you could notice that a few of the smaller clouds under the larger ones had... yellow eyes?!? The skin of several of the people who were in the festival seemed to turn a bit darker as well as they stared at the clouds... some of them smiled evilly... |

| Giving away the last his winnings Rhino turned to see where that peculiar character had run off to. Picking a direction he started walking, but before when he rounded the third corner he found the two trapped just as they activated some strange device. Seeing its effects Rhino got ready for a fight. Assembling his large beame rifle he stood at attention. Just like when he was fresh off assembly and ready for inspection. But now he was more ready for battle than he had ever been before. |

| After a while, the sky became totally covered with large black cloud, entirely blocking the light of the sun and plunging the festival grounds in darkness. Then, there was some kind of sound... ... s... s... The sound began to grow louder... and then, it became obvious what was the sound! SCRALTCH!!! One of the Waddledees just next to Rhino litterally exploded! Out of the unfortunate waddledee's remains came some kind of small round grey being with a single horn and two black eyes. It was a Dark Troopers, one of the Dark Matter soldiers! Then, beings all around Rhino (and KirbyATW as well) began to explode as the infiltrated Dark Matters came out of their living disguises! One of them, a large superior Dark Matter, flied high in the air and yelled: Dark Matter: "CHAAAAAARGE!!!" Then, mass chaos ensued. While the forces of darkness were killing everyone that were on the festival grounds, Dark MetaKnight's, Nightmare's, and Dark Reaper's respective armies had formed a perimeter around the festival grounds to keep anyone from escaping. ... Nightmare: "Great! It begun!" Dark MetaKnight took some kind of communication device... Dark MetaKnight: "Captain HookBlade, take command of the troops. I'm going in. I shall capture Kirby's descendant myself..." Captain HookBlade: "Aye aye sir!" Then, Dark MetaKnight headed toward the festival grounds... Nightmare: "Hmph! Glory hog! Always wanting to be the one who's recognised for every success!" Nightmare turned into a sphere of pure energy and followed Dark MetaKnight from a distance... |

| Kirby ATW looked to the sky as it turned pitch black. He sighed and shook his head. ATW: Glad there isnt anyone around to say 'Told ya so'. ATW unpocketed the rainbow rod once more and gained a baseball cap giving him Wheel power. A distance later, he rolled up next to Rhino, who looked battle ready. ATW: Aim for the eye... its the weak spot. Kirby turned around with one last remark. ATW: Find anyone else still alive and protect them... and round up anyone else willing to fight... you'll need the help. As for me... I have some VIP's to save... again. Kirby ATW rolled his eyes and tossed his cap into the air. A wheelie scooter landed right next to him, along with the rainbow rod. One wave later, and the rod was a fiery hat, encrusted with an emerald. ATW now had Fire power. ATW stepped on the gas, weaving in and out of dark matter blobs that seemed to rain from the sky, and throwing fire to take out the evil in front of him, while leaving a trail of fire to burn up what fell behind him. His mind was racing at the speed he was going, which was... pretty fast. ATW: Another day, another maniac trying to take over my galaxy... Kirby approached a large castle in the middle of the festival, now looming over everything with the pitch black sky behind it. A wall of dark matter lined the ground, blocking any entry to the castle, containing the world leaders. Kirby took off his hat, and poofed it into a large lantern, with the power of Light. Kirby pressed on through the crowded streets, towards the wall of darkness. ATW: This should work... if I time it right... Kirby swerved to the left, jumped off the ramp, and soared over the wall, dropping the lantern to the ground. The lantern broke open, and a sphere of light exploded on contact, vaporizing the dark minions on contact. ATW landed behind the light at the gates of the castle, with the light bomb still burning behind him, blocking any entry of the dark creatures. The rainbow rod reappeared in his hand, and with one wave, the scooter disappeared. Kirby fixed his robe, assured the light wall would stay, and entered the castle. ATW: I sure hope that guy is holding up fine on his own... I didnt want to leave, but I need to ensure the safety of the leaders. ATW entered the grand hall of the castle, and headed for the nearest staircase. The absence of any minions disturbed him slightly, but he shook it off and continued up the spiral stairs. Finally, a large set of doors, marking the mess hall stood before him. An ominous creak later, and the dark mess hall was revealed to him, with the leaders perfectly safe. ATW: Is everyone alright? Many explanations later, and handshakes, ATW sat down to think of a plan to get them out. Suddenly, something hit him. ATW: I dont buy it... something doesnt feel... Kirby, now with Sword power, swung a sword around to meet the blade of Dark Metaknight ATW: ...right. Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that. Kirby knocked the dark blade away, and it landed a few seconds later, stuck into the ground. ATW: Though, mind if we have a little chat before I kick you back from where you came? Why dont you explain yourself... I have the time to listen. |

| Dark MetaKnight stared at Kirby ATW... his yellow, evil eyes glowed behind his mask... Dark MetaKnight: "... ... ... Black Hole!" Dark MetaKnight's sword teleported back into his hands. Then, he jumped away from Kirby ATW and stared intensely at him... Dark MetaKnight: "No wonder this was such a badly executed move! You are not of the Kirby bloodline... you look like him physically but you aren't even his indirect descendant. You're nothing more than a common guardian." Dark MetaKnight pointed at Kirby ATW with Black Hole. Dark MetaKnight: "Know that the glorious Dark Queen, 02, shall soon rule this planet! In a sweep of terror, this planet's civilizations shall be destroyed and all of it's souls will fall under eternal enslavement!... and there is nothing you, a stupid Kirby-lookalike, can do to stop our Excellency from taking over!" Suddenly, Dark MetaKnight received a transmission... Dark Reaper: "Dark MetaKnight! Things looks ugly! We ran into a life-form called "Rhino" and it's beating up our troops! We have to retreat!" Dark MetaKnight was not surprised for some reason... Dark MetaKnight: "Well... it looks like I'll have to go... but before I leave, I shall tell you my name... *cough!* I am Dark MetaKnight, one of the Dark Queen's 3 Grand Generals!... and I have a gift for you!" Dark MetaKnight suddenly teleported away!... but as he did, some kind of teddy bear appeared at the location where he used to be. Some kind of purple sphere filled with stars approached the teddy bear... Nightmare: "Hmm... I bet there's more to this teddy bear than it may look..." The sphere exploded, revealing the form of the hideous Nightmare! Nightmare grabbed the teddy bear... Nightmare: "Yes... most definitely! This must be..." BOOOOOOOOOM!!! A mere dreamlander to terrorise! OK... *COUGH!* *COUGH!* MUWAHAHAHAHA! I am Nightmare, one of the great and almighty Dark Queen's Grand Generals! Bow before me and I will MAYBE spare your life! HAHAHA!" Nightmare *thinks* Heh! I'm so convaincing and scary! I bet this Kirby-like being must be scared to death right now! Hahaha!... I worry what happened to Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine however. I wonder if they were able to break free of those strange light cubes or something... |

| OOC: Thanks for putting a good word in on my character while I was gone __________________ Following standard protocal procedures Rhino had cleared a 100ft perimeter in every direction then slowly widened it by making a large spiral movement outward. Normally he would have left the helpless to their own business but he had acquired a new ally who obviously valued their lives. Turning a corner he noticed a company of 40 or 50 of those wierd shadow things. They were becoming more and more organized by the minute, but they still stood no chance. Taking aim he shot the biggest one in the eye and watched as the rest turned to run like a bunch of startled dear. In the desperation of escape they never saw the mines carefully placed in their path. As the army finally started to retreat he made his way to the center of his circle where his spiral had begun. This is where he had gathered the survivors. There were surprisingly few casualties. Rhino: Do not be afraid. You are no longer in danger. I must speak with those who lead you. Finally turning on his backup core systems he regained the rest of his personality. Then turning to the two trapped in the cubes. Rhino: So, am I gonna get answers or is time for the Rhino to have some fun? Rhino had been built as a large intimidating Battle Bot and something about refering to himself as 'The Rhino' scared people. If they didn't answer he would pry them out of their cubes and then they would talk. | Kirby ATW stood looking at Nightmare, and held up a hand. ATW: Mind if I have a minute to rant? Thanks. ATW began pacing about the room, yelling at nobody in particular, all while wearing a green, sparking cap. ATW: I cant believe that guy, he takes me as a cheap knockoff, a common guardian... my lord... he has no clue who he's dealing with... I FREAKING PROTECT THIS GALAXY! Geez... when I get my hands on him, I'll! Ugh... this guy ticked me off more than he knows. You are GOING DOWN next time we meet Dark Metaknight, you hear me!!!! Nightmare held up a finger as if to say something, but Kirby put up a hand, stopping him again. Kirbys hat was now flaring with green energy, and Kirby had a sphere of energy around him. Kirby stopped and looked at Nightmare. ATW: And what are you looking at? Ugh, I dont have time for this. Kirby brought all the energy to his hands, and shot a ball, 3 times bigger than himself straight at Nightmare. The ball tore through the floor, and smashed into Nightmare, sending him through the wall... the next wall... and two more walls before he finally stopped and hit the floor, unconsious. Kirby took off his hat and poofed back the rainbow rod. He turned around and looked at the World Leaders, who were now cowering a little bit. Kirby rubbed the back of his head, sweatdropping. ATW: Uhhh... sorry folks. A little something I like to call diversionary tactics. Now... what to do with you guys... hang on... Kirby waved the rainbow rod and a blue shimmering portal appeared in front of him. A picture of rhino appeared, and Kirby was pleased with what he saw. A short wave later, and the portal was gone. ATW: Glad to see he held out on his own... I might want to get down there and thank him after this is over... oh... wait... Kirby climbed through the holes in the wall that he had made to stand face to face with Nightmare, who was regaining consiousness. ATW: ... Boo Kirby didnt have to do anything. Nightmare retreated on his own. ATW put on a smug look ATW: Didnt even have to lift a finger... perhaps too easy? |

| Back at the Hyper Zone... ... Servant: "This dish is a very exotic one, you'll see! A dream crisped to golden perfection covered with the finely prepared hearts of 2 months old babies! All that covered in a yummy sauce made of the dish's ingredients' mothers' tears and sorrow! As an added plus, we added the mothers' eyeballs to the mix! A very physical dish containing a high dose of sorrow as well as the confusion of the slaughtered babies! A true delicacy!" The plate was placed just in front of the Dark Matter-possessed fairy. In the plate was a roasted star-shaped object with the texture of a cake. Surrounding the star were small hearts that had obviously been freshly ripped apart from their rightful owners, covering the plate with blood. The whole thing was covered with a white/blue sauce that was almost as liquid as water. 02 took her fork and knife and then, she tasted the whole dish... 02: "Hmm... this is indeed exotic! The sweetness of the dream makes such a contrast with the tears' salty taste... and yet, they do not clash. The meaty goodness of the babies' hearts is like a bridge between the salty and sweet tastes, allowing this to reach a definitely delicate but tasty harmony... Yet another masterpiece from our good old chief! Give her my regards!" Servant: "We shall do so..." CLANK!!! Suddenly, the door was slammed open! Out of it came Nightmare, who strangely enough, was now merely an inch-high. Dark MetaKnight entered soon after, followed by Dark Reaper. 02 just finished her next bite and then stared angrily at Nightmare as the prince, Gooey, could hardly contain his laughter. 02: "Nightmare... do not tell me you have succeeded into failing..." she said in her monotone voice. Altought her voice always remained the same, you could tell that she was REALLY angry from the way she stared at Nightmare... Nightmare: "Master... As soon as I will have grown back to full size, I will correct my mistake!" 02: "Nightmare... you cannot lead your troops to victory... You cannot capture or kill Kirby's descendants... You cannot make a single super-weapon that isn't nuked two days after it's completion... Your plans always end in fKitten Yiffer... I cannot believe this." Nightmare: "Errr... I..." 02: "Listen well. It took me a lot of power to recall you after Kirby the 1st had destroyed you using the Star Rod... and I was especting you to be as powerful as the legends were saying... but weakness and fKitten Yiffer were the only things you brought to me. Nightmare... I want you to understand this..." Nightmare: "Y... y... yes my queen?" 02: "If you disappoint me, you will regret it... dearly..." A single tear came out of 02's right eye and then dropped in her plate, making the heart on which it landed dissolve... for this was no ordinary tear. This tear was made of blood... it was a Hate Tear. Nightmare, seeing this, almost had a heart attack. He became even more pale than he is already and made a step backward, trembling like a leaf in the wind... Nightmare: "G... g... great Queen... I... I... I will not disappoint you again..." 02: "I hope for you... Nightmare." Nightmare got out of the throne room. Gooey couldn't take it anymore and burst out, laughing! 02: "Gooey. Show respect." 02 took a bite out of the half-eaten dream. 02: "Hmm... too bad. My own hatred that I have put into this dish by accident has upset the harmony of this delicacy. This is too bad really... Now, Dark MetaKnight... Dark Reaper... do you have any explanations for this humiliation we just had?" Dark MetaKnight stepped foward. Dark MetaKnight: "It seems that Kirby's descendant was not there. Unstead, we ran into the Guardian." 02: "That pathetic excuse of a Guardian? KirbyATW they call him? I don't see how he could have been able to defeat the troops I gave you. Yes... he is the Guardian... but the Guardian was unable to stop us in the past. Everytime a Guardian arose, we crushed him swiftly and efficiently. Why would this one be different?" Dark MetaKnight: "His Rainbow Rod... it is glowing..." 02: "I see... so the Guardian is blessed with the power of the Crystal Sword. I tought it had been sealed so that I may not steal it. Only Kirby the 1st had been powerful enough to use it. His descendants relied on Galaxia unstead. I wonder if this means the time has come for a new wielder to appear..." Dark MetaKnight: "Most definitely. If the Rainbow Rod glowed, then it is the sign that the seal the legendary fairy Ribbon placed on the Crystal Sword is about to break." 02: "I know that... but I wouldn't be so sure. Still, I have decided to take care of Popstar first. The Heart Rod is hidden there and it is one of the only weapons that could destroy this new body I just obtained. As such, the conquest of Popstar is essential to my plans. Dark MetaKnight, I leave this task to you alone this time. Dark Reaper, watch over Nightmare. Make sure that this buffoon doesn't get in the way again. He could make everything fails." Dark MetaKnight & Dark Reaper: "Yes my queen." The two left the throne room. 02 took a bite out of one of the remaining baby hearts in the dish she was eating. 02: "Hmmm... my excitement toward my imminent victory dissolved the Hate Tear and now, the dream cake is just as tasty as it used to be..." | ooc: Just so no one is confused Rhino is a Tra-vis 308 and his predecessors, the Tra-vis 307, is now hunting him. There is more than one Tra-vis 307. _________________________________________ Walking up to Shine and Bright Rhino attempted to pry them out of the strange cubes they were hiding inside of. Just as he got a hold of the first cube he heard a voice a little ways down one of the aisles of concession stands. Tra-vis 307: Target lock They had found him again. There were two standing side by side. As he turned to look at them they fired their anti-infantry missiles into the air. Rhino: You missed the party. Pulling out his Beam RIfle Rhino took aim on the missile in the middle of the cluster and fired. The single missiles explosion damaged the locking systems of the rest. Turning to the people that he had gathered during the previous battle... Rhino: Take Cover! ...then turning to the Tra-vis 307's who had fired the missiles he engaged his 'Emergency Berserker' systems. Charging directly at his two opponents he was completely oblivious as the missiles smashed down behind him, throwing trapnel into the group of survivors and throwing Shine and Bright atleast a mile into the air. Lifting their duel chain guns the 307s opened fire on the now charging Rhino, but as they did he moved to the side slightly so that instead of running in the open he was smashing through the concession stands and side shows. This didn't even slow him down but it prevented the 307s from getting a clear shot. As he drew closer he suddenly jumped out of a popcorn stand and smashed into one of the 307s. It was only mildly damaged but before it recovered he changed his right fore-arm into his Beam Cannon and placing it to the side of the of it's head, Fired. Before he even had a chance to turn the second detonated the missiles inside itself as a suicide tactic. The explosion threw Rhino back but wasn't powerful enough to really damage him. |

| During the fight opposing Rhino to some robots that were similar to him, some of the fire struck the cubes... and slowly, the cubes disappeared. Mr.Shine & Bright hid as the duel continued and once it was over, the stared at each others... Mr.Bright: "He's strong." Mr.Shine: "Very." Mr.Bright: "His copies are strong too!" Mr.Shine: "Yes, they are." Mr.Bright: "Possessing a few of those robots would be great!" Mr.Shine: "Yes, it would!" Mr.Bright: "Retreat!" Mr.Shine: "Yes, indeed!" The two's eyes and limbs disappeared and then, they escaped before Rhino could do anything. By the time he would have started to run after them, they had flied high in the sky, beyond the veil of darkness. Mr.Bright and Shine had escaped and would soon tell 02 about Rhino and the Trav-vis 307... |

| Watching the two retreat into the sky Rhino wondered if he had seen the last of them. Not likely. They were obviously part of whatever was going on and would soon be back. He would be ready for them, just as soon as he figured out what was happening and why it was happening. The person from the ring toss would have some answers, and hopefully things weren't as bad as they appeared. Turning to the group of survivors he took a count of the dead and injured. Not counting the ones he had never found. There were 13 who had been injured by the anti-personel missiles and 4 were killed by them. For a second he considered leaving so that no more innocence would be hurt by the 307's attempts on his life. But then he considered what would have happened if he hadn't been there... |

| Kirby ATW shook a fist at the fleeing army. ATW: Yeah, you better run... dont EVER let me catch you guys around here again! Satisfied, ATW began leading the world leaders down the stairs and out of the castle, where the sky was beginning to clear already. A glow went unnoticed from the rainbow rod as the procession continued outside into the ruined fairgrounds. Bodies littered the ground, and the earth was tainted red. Kirby shook his head and sighed ATW: Unfortunate mess... I cant wait to see how the intergalactic news reports THIS... Kirby found Rhino and led the group of VIPs over to him. ATW held out a hand and shook with Rhino ATW: Thanks for helping out... Its not every day that somebody tries to take over my galaxy. Yes, MY galaxy... long story.(OOC: Read my bio for more details) ATW looked at the ramaining people left. Most of them were covered in grime. Kirby shook his head and pulled out a little pink cellphone with a star antenna. A few button presses later, and a large bus shaped like a star pulled up besides him. Inside, a hamster and a young waddle dee were inside, driving and sitting respectively. ATW held up a hand and addressed the hamster. ATW: Ricky, my man! Hows it going? Ricky surveyed the surrounding and shook his head Ricky: Pretty good... did you manage to blow up another festival Mr. "All The Way?" ATW: For your informaton, it wasnt me this time... it 02... again! Though... things didnt turn out very well this time... Ricky rose an eyebrow. Ricky: Oh... alright... enough chit-chat. What'd ya call me for? I do run the only intergalactic bus service. ATW motioned at the survivors ATW: Mind running these people home... I hate it when innocent peoples lives get destroyed. Ricky: Sure... hop on everybody, and just tell me where you need to go. Ricky pointed at the waddle dee Ricky: Charlie, can you help these people on to the bus... and while you're at it, apply some first aid? Charlie: Got it Rick! Come on everyone, get on... got places to go! One by one, the survivors filled the bus, taking their seats, and giving their last thank-you's out the window to Kirby and Rhino. Once everything was ready, Ricky motioned for Kirby to back away. Kirby objected otherwise and pulled out the rainbow rod. ATW: A little short-term invisibility cant hurt, right? One wave later, and the bus tourned into a transparent outline, nearly invisible to the naked eye. Ricky gave a thumbs up to Kirby, and closed the doors. Ricky: Ladies and gentlemen, Id advise keeping your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, lest you want to be missing something when we get to our destination. Thank you, and enjoy the ride! A whirring sound and a snap later, and the bus was off into space, safely delivering its passengers to where they belonged. ATW pocketed the rainbow rod and sat on a mound of debris next to Rhino. ATW: Ah... I love that Ricky... one of my best friends of this age! ATW surveyed the damage one last time ATW: Well... everything is almost wrapped up. Just need the cleanup crew to come through here sometime soon. Kirby took out the rainbow rod again, and drew a portal in midair again. On the other side was a beautiful palace, glowing the colors of the rainbow. He stood up and was about to step through when he thought better. He turned to Rhino ATW: Youre welcome to tag along if you want... only if you want to. This portal will close on its own anyways. ATW stepped through with one last goodbye and slipped from view. |

| Looking at his right hand Rhino realized it was still a Beam Cannon. Rhino: You know I was made to kill... Changing it back into a hand he took a step throught the teleporter. Rhino: ...but that's what seperates me from the 307's, It's what gives me an edge. It's the fact that I have a choice. He seemed to be deep in thought and more talking to himself than any one else. But suddenly looking up... Rhino: I will help you if I can. That's a promise. And my word is one thing that you know you can rely on. I didn't catch your name. Suddenly he seemed to be in a much better mood. Rhino: Well, I guess we better get going. Know any where I could get some repairs? I wonder if I know any of the mechanics around here. ____________________________ Back on the other side of the teleporter a third 307 peered through after his prey. He knew where they had teleported to. As Rhino and ATW began to walk away from where they had teleported in he took his chance. Sending out one last signal he stepped through the teleporter after them. |
