Finally! A demo with 6 worlds can be grabbed at this site. Have fun playing it and don't forget to read the readme in the file.

Edit: if you find bugs, let me know about them, so I can fix them.

You should ask pete how he made mario from mario 3 to where
he had the proper animation.

And yeah, too many enemys at once.
Those bobing in and out of the tube plant monsters keep killing me instantly, even when im big.

And althogh it was a pretty good idea, haveing different powerup graphics on different levels dose get pretty confusing.

Odd music placement should be looked into.
One a plus, the intro and presentation was and is awsome.

Graphics were the bomb.

The overworld or map was awsome and just plane out super cool.

And that is all i have to say.

I played through most of it (Missed a couple of secret exits) and heres my thoughts.

Graphics: YI graphics are nice, so are SMB3 GFX... though, thats not the big problem. Wrong sprite tables are leading to strange graphic glitchyness (Fireball head yoshi, Glitchy rock throwing chuck...). Definately need to fix that...

Playability: ARGH.... this is a 9 on the difficulty scale, not in a good way either. Koopa bouncing is overused... and sometimes cant even be made without a yoshi or cape. Too much distance. Not to mention the overuse of sprites is causing some vital ones to disappear. (Platforms in particular) Cut down on the sprites PLEASE

Overworld: Nothing I can really complain about... except, why the opening music for the main land? Sounds very odd to me...

Design: Great level design... not much to complain about, except the sprite issues, and the occasional unmakable jumps. Maybe tone it down just a tad bit

Overall feel: Overall, great... Though there are still the underlying problems. Tone down the difficulty. You want it to be challenging, not annoying. Fix the graphics, and the little here and there problems, and this is a keeper.

BTW, LOVE the opening screen... I could have sworn I had downloaded the wrong game for a minute there

When that is still enabled when you release a hack, it counts as a bug.

Well, unless, of course, you intended it to be in there... but I don't see why anyone would want to. And you said yourself that you just forgot to disable it.

Wow, it looks really nice, but I have to agree with hhallahh, though, don't really want to replay all 6 worlds. It'd be better to wait for a finished product (with less glitches lol) to play it. It looks really amazing though

You don't have to replay them, just use your old save states to begin from where you finished the game, lol.

Well, I didn't know d4s was hacking Mario World (the streaming sound demo left out)... but anyway: Nice looking thing there^^ Great graphics! Especially the BGs. I love them. Also it does seem to have quite a well balanced level of difficulty unlike most of the other crap MarioWorld-hacks out there^^

Looks very promising. Keep it up^^
