I sometimes freak myself out with my "clock"
I'd fall asleep for a couple of hours, wake up, guess the time in my head, roll over to look at my alarm clock, and about 40% of the time, it's dead right!

If ever I set the alarm clock, I always wake up 2 minutes before it goes off, no matter how much sleep I had that night. Even if I set the alarm clock for 4:00am, I'd always wake up at 3:57 - 3:58.

Pretty freaky... Yet cool

I almost never look at clocks, but every so often, I get an odd impulse to direct my attention towards one. Without fail, every time I get such an impulse, the clock is at 3:17. I hope you understand what that means. This has been going on since my teen years. On more than one occasion, the clock I'm looking at is blinking, because there had been a recent power outtage, so the time isn't even accurate. I have no explination for this.

I definately believe in some sort of psychic something.

Something really wierd happened to me a while back. I was in my backyard, on the trampoline, and I broke my arm. About a minute llater, my grandmother woke up from her nap, called me, and asked me if I had broken my arm. Nobody had told anyone about my arm, seeing as how it had just been broken.

More on that same note-
Whenever someone in my family dies, a lot of us somehow know that something bad happened. We all have wierd dreams the night before the death (mine is really wack- I dream of a waterfall that trickles, then blasts water), and for some reason, nobody is really sad when a relative dies. We're one wierd clan (we have some odd 500 people in our family tree traced back 7 generations).

Ghosts-
I really don't have an opinion about ghosts.

Aliens-
Odds are that in this enormous universe, there are bound to be aliens somewhere. Like someone else said, aliens could easily be some sort of simple bacteria festering in a crevice somewhere. There's just no way to know.

I'm reading this at night, and I'm getting the heebie-jeebies. Types quickly so he can return to the comfort of the Story Forum.

Aliens:
I'm torn between my religious beliefs and my logic. One part of me says that only humans should exist, as we are God's only creation, but the other part of me says that the universe is so immense, how could they NOT exist? IF they do, though, I would not expect them to be humanoid in any way. Or even remotely similar to any animal on our planet. They could be some sort of entirely different kind of life form, not a mammal or a reptile or a fish...probably just plants or germs, though.

Ghosts:
Uhm...I kind of think so. Maybe. Possibly...I don't know. I have...vague memories, that for some reason I have associated with ghosts, but I'm not sure. I kind of hope not, though, it's sounds like it'd be crappy to be a ghost. Maybe not.

As for psychic powers, that I do believe. Actually, I think I have some. For SOME reason (and this has been happening for the past 3 or 4 years now, SO MANY TIMES), at any part of the day I'll be thinking of this random scene in a movie, not even aware that I'm thinking of it, and later that day I'll end up watching it. Usually it's not even my choice to watch it - my mom will put the movie on, or I'll see it on TV and not realize that I had thought of it until the scene comes on.

"I almost never look at clocks, but every so often, I get an odd impulse to direct my attention towards one. Without fail, every time I get such an impulse, the clock is at 3:17. That same thing happens to me . Only with me, it's 10:34...or, it was. I got it ALL the time last summer, but it stopped after a while.

I don't really believe in any of the things you listed.
ESP.. there's no proof.
Ghosts, definitely not something I believe in.
EVP.. nah. That's a little too much like The 6th Sense.
Aliens could exist sure, but I don't find myself contemplating that. I'm not interested.
And I've never believed in people having psychic or telepathic powers.
I could be very very wrong with all of this, I'm aware. I guess I'm just ignorant with topics like this.

Well if you want to believe creationism and that we were created by God, then the universe could very well just be an endless void full of lifeless rocks. Almost like a test, to see if we would explore it and how far we could get. Or maybe there's something out there, not necessarily life; think Space Oddesy 2001, or like an energy source or something. Lots of possibilities there, but I'm more a believer of science than religion.

Also I do get a lot of deja vu. I'll be watching a TV show and see a scene, and realize I was thinking about it yesterday or earlier that day. It's very common. There are also certain situations IRL that I feel so strongly I've experienced before when I haven't. In some cases something would happen, and I'll remember a time before when I was in the same situation, feeling as if it'd happened before that, when I know it never really happened at all. A few times this has been so intense that I wasn't convinced it was really happening when it actually was. Or sometimes I'll have memories of things that are impossible (most of the time, I'll remember an image of myself in the 3rd person) or things that not only never happened but could never happen. (One such time being when the school bus didn't stop at my house... This never did happen and I don't even live there anymore, it was a long time ago, but I still remember it clearly.)

My dreams are weird too. They tend to make no sense at all, and often elements of one dream will appear in others (most commonly, part of one dream will take place in a place that was in another dream, though said place doesn't really exist) even when I haven't thought about them in a long time. There was one instance I can recall where I even dreamed about a real place that I'd never been to, only to visit it a few months later.

The thing that bugs me most, though, is that they never seem to mean anything. Nothing special ever happens during these situations that I feel I've seen before. Even the place I saw in a dream before visiting it for real didn't seem to have any unusual properties. There are also memories that just won't go away. I remember them in very good detail - some are even from when I was very young, at an age where I shouldn't be able to remember anything from by now - but there's no signifigance to them... In fact, a while ago I had an incredibly bad dream; I actually killed myself in this dream (tried, anyway, but somehow I continued right on living with a knife in my head). I thought for sure this was a very bad omen, but... nothing happened.

You've obviously missed the point. 3:17 is not a random number, it has significance. Think about the manner in which digital clocks display numerics. Perhaps if you used a calculator to simulate, and flipped it upside-down once you were looking at the number.

So does 1034.

It was when Franche-Comte was subjagated by the Holy Roman Empire which then instituted an anti-semetic policy. On a digital clock flip that number around and you get loeh. Sounds a little off? Flip those letters around and you get heol. Sheol. Which is the Jewish word for Hell.

:o

Or it's just a case of coincidence.

Oh and you're just 3:17 ing.

Internal combustion is proven and we know how it works. For reference, see "the internal combustion engine." SHC, or spontaneous human combustion, is far from proven and even farther from observation. Currently, scientists refer to it as an urban legend.

Only the truly enlightened reach it! The dealio is that few, if any, reach it in their first life. It is many lives of change and understanding that allows you to get there.

Allrighty, its time for me to give my dollar 3 eighty(yes, thats too many digits, deal with it!) Now, my beliefs are somewhat...Biblical in nature, so dont think im some crazed lunatic because of it.

Aliens: I personallly believe in a sort of biblical belief of aliens. Now I've heard someone say that humans are Gods only perfect creation, or that we are the point of creation, bull. The biblical point of creation is the glorification of the perfection of the greatness that is God, period. Now, you have to understand my beliefs a little to understand what I'm saying, because existence is to give glory to God, I ask you, which is more glorifying to God, that we knew him and turned away? or that we knew God and loved him and never even thought to do anything else? Oddly enough, even us, the cosmic rejects and creatures of darkness that we are, manage to glorify Him. So my question to you is, what if (as stephen king so elequently put it,) "There are other worlds then these"? What if, not only were there other people, other intelligence, they did not turn away from him? Why in the name of all stupidity would an inifinitly wise deity choose to have them anywhere near us? Not only to protect them from us, but to protect us from them? Wouldn't a creature that knows and loves God feel it only just to annihilate those that did but chose to slap God in the face? Anyway, this rant is over. Now, another related question, do aliens visit us? I think so, but not the ones i just go through mentioning, I believe that there are angels and demons, Why not others, whose role and existence was kept hidden from us or even themselves? God dosn't have to explain himself to the likes of us, Just be happy he hasn't damned us yet,

Ghosts: It has been argued that we live through some cosmic force and that this escence is what ghosts are, I disagree, and agree. The way I see it, Imagine reality as a piece of paper, now imagine the spark of life as an energy source, say, a lit match. Now, combine the two, doesn't one effect the other? Doesn't the match change and leave a mark on the paper? Why not the same thing but with souls and reality?

Esp, pschics etc. I think they exist, Let me give you an example, Recently Things have become...Familiar. Things that happen, I dreamed, years ago, but just wrote off as dreams with no meaning. Its more than deja vue, i dont just feel familiarity, I REMEMBER the dreams, with sometimes startling detail.

Now, im going to surprise you, Almost every claim I've seen on this descussion has not been esp, Take the example of seeing a clock with the same time over and over, whats so special about that? Allow me to explain it to you, First, something happens that is of little importance, such little importance, you don't even remember it. Now, this event gives you an association, with the number or time you keep seeing, But again, this doesn't mean much, Almost every day we develop associations with dozens of things, most of which will have little effect on us. Now, its some unimportant day, you doing whatever and you get a strange urge to look at the clock, sure enough, its that time. Let me break it down for you, First and foremost, You SAW the clock or another clock, just cause you didn't notice it doesn't mean that the unconsciouse mind didn't pick that tidbit up. The fact is, that your brain gets billions of pieces of information, and has to sort through them to decide the things to bring to your conscious mind. Its a proven fact, they even know the part of the brain that does it. Anyway, theres another part of the brain that acts as an internal clock, thats how people wake up at the same time each morning, or know their late. so combine all this info and you subconscouse mind is able to know more or less what time it is, but unfortunatly the time is in a format that the conscious mind isn't able to correspond to the clock, after all telling time existed long before the clock or even the current method of telling time, so you can know what time it is and still not know what time it is, simply eh? Anyway so your diddling allong and suddenly, its *that* time of day, your subconscious knows it, you however do not. But, the brain is sorting and it deams this knowledgte of the time of day is unimportant. However, there is that pesky association to deal with, your brain sees it, decides it may be important, then your brain cross references it to everything going on at the moment, including the time of day. Now not only do you have an association with this time of day, but it is that time of day. So this info is deamed important and is passed onto the brain. But how does the brain tell you of an association? Bingo, a funny fealing, an urge to look at the clock. There you go.

ESP: Very possible. I think somewhere its said that we only use a small percent of our brainpower. If some people could unlock the other percent, reading minds and predicting the future could happen.

Ghosts: I believe in spirits floating around Earth.

EVP: Dunno what that is...

Nirvana: Dunno.

Telekinisis: Yeah.

Aliens: Not big green ones, but lifeforms on other planets. I don't believe any have visted Earth though.

Here the scientifik proof I have:

1.ESP: Possible, If brain react to electricity he could know what other think but It will make I'M hear machine electrivity as well, which can be troublemaking and the view In the future thing is impossible and percent thing don't work you will to genetically modify yourself to get such a feature
Proof:someone make a pac-man game that work by thinking and It work(But you have to insert some machine conected to the game in your head to make him work )
2:Ghost: The myth started because of body decomposition in cemetery creating combustible so people thinking they was appear at night beacause the combustible was reacting to the torch they was bringing with them
3.EVP:My proof at 1 and 2 and the fact that death brain don't do electricity is enough to disproof that
4.Nirvana:I hate these Life after death thing
5.Telekinisis:the only way Its could be possible Its with gravity or magnetik energy but both will onlly attract objet to the person wich is not what people want from this power, right
6.Alien. true there another planet foud where Life exist but please don't freak about U.F.O and such alien may only have small difference of technology with us
For the brain percent thing you can acess him the brainpower you don't use its because its being used by the sens so do this:
1.do a small Investigation on the net to find the product 1000 time more salty than salt and get some of him
2.fill you bath with no too cold noo too hot water and put the product inside
3.make sure there no light and odor in the room
4.go in the bath
I have heard about that in 'la revange des nerd'so that should work
Note:you don't really need all this,I've done It in my pool during the night, just make sure your sens don't receive any Information
