| Grey leaped out of the crowd after releasing a green shockwave of PK power outward from himself, knocking rows and rows of Tauren back. He waved to Janus, who nodded and signaled to Garro and Kalar, who were still blowing through ranks of the army. Grey dashed through the crowd letting off wave after wave of energy, with his comrades running behind him... But he stopped, as Janus, Garro, and Kalar made it to the helicopters... Janus: "Grey, what's wrong? Come on!" Grey: "I... No.... Go on ahead, wait for me!" Garro: "There's no much time, those apaches will slice you to ribbons!" Grey: "I don't care about that right now! There's something... more important..." Janus groaned as he dragged Garro and Kalar away, to the escape choppers. When Grey got like this, there really wasn't any convincing him otherwise. | Nakase twisted her body around, evading the oncoming attacks of the Tauren and quicky countering with a nasty slash from her katana. At some point, she ran up a Tauren's back, and began to jump from beast to beast, slicing downward at the enemy she had jumped away from. From her elevated point, she noticed a green and red fellow running back to the building. Nakase: Why are you running back? Kirby: We gotta get back! That 'copter's gonna fire missiles. I never trust anyone to be firing missiles in the area I'm fighting in ever since I was killed by them. Nakase put her attention back into the Tauren. Just a little more wouldn't hurt... All of a sudden, the brunette felt her body being swept up in the middle of the air. She attempted to struggle, but soon realized who had picked her up. Kirby: Too bad. Nakase: Aw... And with that, the two had made it back to the building. |

| Jarukoth, Ada, and Nimue all scramble into the waiting helicopter a second before realizing two of thier comrades are still missing... Jarukoth: "Oh for the love of crap..." Shino remains in the middle of the battlefield, gunfire raining down around him, searching for one particular...comrade...of importance... Shino: "Kari! Where are you? KARI!!" In his search, Shino comes across Grey, who is no doubt looking for the same thing he is... Shino goes over to Grey, and grabs his arm. Shino: "Grey! Listen, we..." Kari: "There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you two! We gotta go!" As thier vision of loveliness dashes off, Shino scowls back at Grey a bit as he runs off to join her in the helicopter... | Grey: "Indeed.... PK Shield Sigma!!!" As he rises into the air, the gunfire from the apaches is repelled from him, Shino, and Kari, having gotten that much more intense in the past few seconds. He rockets through the skies towards the waiting helicopter, and joins Janus, Kalar, and Garro among the rest of the warriors that had been recovered. He looked down at the devastation, and up at Jarukoth. Janus: "You're one crazy idiot..." Grey: "Don't talk to me about that right now." He didn't want to say he had failed, but had he failed? Bah, who knew. So long as Jarukoth and Ada were safely married. And Kari... Why Kari? Strange, really, that he'd feel that way all of a sudden. He glanced at her, and back down at his feet. That kind of devastation, all for a wedding. There had to be more to the story than what Jarukoth was telling them all. Grey: "Jarukoth, you mentioned something earlier about children... I still don't quite understand it. Was that all the reason for this? What would really happen if you had a kid?" |
