| Kyle: That's it, we've lost the airship. It's just too fast for us. Blue: Don't worry, we'll pass up those pirates soon enough. Remember, this is just the start of the game! So what now? The three stood still for a moment. Suddenly, there was a rustling noise coming from the bushes to the side of them! Someone was running through the bushes, and they were in a hurry. Blue: Hey, who the crap is that?! The noise stopped, and the real Blue popped out of the undergrowth! Real Blue: Guys, what're you doing, just leaving me behind like that! Didn't you notice I was gone?! Uh - Both Blues stared at each other. Real Blue: It's you! Fake Blue: It's you! Real Blue: You attacked me back at the waterfall and left me for dead, you evil clone! Kyle: What is going on here? Both Blues pointed at each other. Real Blue: He's a fake! Fake Blue: He's a fake! Real Blue: You lousy imposter! Stop acting like me! Fake Blue: I'm no imposter! You're the phony! Real Blue: Liar! The two Blues started arguing. Kyle: Vincent, we need some sort of way to tell who's who. Got any ideas? --- Jackson quickly snatched Asha'man's disk, and told him of Vincent's location. Jackson: They are about a half day's journey away, so if you want to catch them, you should set out now. And my name...I am Captain Jackson. Jackson pocketed the disk. Jackson: If you come by again, make sure you're announced beforehand. My crew can get a bit jumpy sometimes. The two robots entered the room again, ready to escort Asha'man back out. --- Cyberaptor: This adventure is beginning to lack purpose. We're here for no reason at all, investigating a noise. My sensors indicate an 86% chance that the phantom noise was one of the many lemurs that inhabit this area. I would like to escort Phantron to a safe area, where we can per - Phantron, what're you doing?! Phantron suddenly took off into the air! Cyberaptor: You won't get away! Cyberaptor activated his jetpack to take off after her...but didn't move at all. The dinosaur quickly looked around, to see why he wasn't moving, and the reason was quite obvious - a vine had somehow attached itself to his tail! Only, it was no ordinary vine. The other end was connected to a very large plant, which quickly opened up, revealing itself to the group that hadn't noticed it before, the way it was hidden in the bushes. Cyberaptor: What...? The flower started pulling Cyberaptor in with the vine! As the flower continued opening its pedals, it revealed quite a nasty display of lethal teeth. It was just like a piranha plant, only much bigger and deadlier! Cyberaptor: Agh! Requesting help, anyone? Before anyone could do anything, more vines shot out of the flower, and attached themselves to Snipes and Levi'athan. These, two, immediately began pulling their hosts toward the bowels of the monstrous plant, slowly but strongly. Cyberaptor: If we don't find a way out of here, I predict a 100% chance of pain! | "You see, I told you there was something here!" Closing his eyes, Snipes made a frantic plea to Phantron. "Phantron, we really need your help right now. Lets just say that if you don't come, there won't be anyone here to help! The strange plant you told us about just got ahold of all three of us!" |

| Phantron heard a voice... but it wasn't important. She had to catch up with the pirates and destroy them! Destroy them all to the last! Still, she had the feeling that she had to do something before continuing the pursuit... Phantron's shoulders opened, revealing two large missile launchers and then, Phantron closed her eyes and began to whisper words that she couldn't understand, relying on her radar for avoding obstacles as she flied foward at an incredible speed. Thne... she opened her eyes and yelled a single, unknow word as she fired two missiles backward, toward the plant that had captured Cyberaptor and the others. Then, her shoulders returned to normal and she resumed her pursuit as she got closer to the pirates' airship... soon, it would be within view... ... During this time... ... Two missiles came out of nowhere and then collided into the plant's mouth, exploding with a LOT of power! In fact, the missiles made such large explosions that it was a miracle Cyberaptor and the others were not fried... and normally, even such large missiles does not produce such gigantic explosions... Furthermore, upon closer inspection, the missiles had did more than explode; two large tornadoes of fire rose to the sky, beginning to draw every life-form exept Cyberaptor and the others in! Soon enough, within a minute, the place became a wasteland... Such destructive power... what could be able to unleash such a power? Whatever may be Snipes' reaction, one thing was sure... upon seeing the fire tornado, a new ability granted by Phantron awakened... Fire... he can now infuse with fiery power making his attacks heat-based if needed. (edited by Zerodius on 07-22-05 07:29 PM) |

| "What the-" Was all Snipes was able to yell before the missile hit the plant, causing everything in the area to liquidate into a roiling ball of fire. Slowly, Snipes felt the vines loosen from around him, and fell to the ground. Landing on his feet, Snipes shielded his eyes from the intense heat (Although it didn't touch him) and light. After the blast had finished, Snipes saw cyberaptor and Levi'athan. Looking at the plant, Snipes' eyes widened as he realized it was still alive! Grabbing Cyberaptor and levi'athan, Snipes wheeled them away from the plant before it could take hold of them again. "Damn, what the hell was that?! Are you guys OK?" |

| Cyberaptor hid behind a burnt tree stump with Snipes and Levi'athan, sparing only a few seconds to scan the monster with his antenna. Cyberaptor: Flora identified as "Fright Weed." It remains hidden as a small bud, and opens up when it detects potential prey. The Fright Weed uses its numerous vines to grasp unsuspecting targets, and pull them into its maw. Genetic signatures indicate that this plant is spawned from another plant...a much, much larger one. It must be close. The Fright Weed possesses outstanding regenerative properties, enabling it to heal in seconds after receiving nearly any direct assault. This must be why it survived...it's only weak spot is on the inside! By now, the fright weed had figured out where the three were hiding, and sent its vines sailing toward them! Cyberaptor slashed at the vines headed toward him, cutting them to pieces, but the fright weed just produced more, and had him tied up once again in seconds. Cyberaptor: Do any of you have any grenades that we can feed this plant? An explosive blast from its inside will surely kill it for good! --- As Phantron neared the ship, her presence did not go unnoticed. Several lookout pirates spotted her, and within a few minutes, the airship had all of its available cannons and guns aimed at her...and an armed pirate airship is one heck of a powerful force. | "Dude, I'm a former assassin. Of course I have grenades." First slicing the vines holding cyberaptor with his sword, Snipes pulled out three Plasma grenades, and flipped two switches on each. Throwing them into the mouth of the beast, Snipes yelled at Cyberaptor and Levi'athan. "Run like hell, because I reset the grenades to act like extra-powereful frags!" |

| But unfortunately for the pirates, the original Phantron was, unlike the nice one, in full control of her powers and thus, while she wouldn't destroy their ship, she would probably deal serious damage to it... Phantron: "DIE!!!" Phantron was surrounded in dark flames and then, the dark aura covered her whole and began to expand and soon, she was hidden in a black cloud nearly as large as the airship! Atrocious screams came out of the cloud... and monsters were spawned from it! Winged snakes made of pure darkness came into large packs, flying toward the airship. Those were Plague Wyverns, wyverns born into the deepest abysses that had mutated due to their environments! Each of them was strong enough to survive a full salve of the airship's cannons (excluding the main cannon) and as such, they represented a serious threat! Fortunately, they couldn't blow fire... unfortunately, their tail ends up with a poisonnous spike that is more than hard enough to pierce the airship's plating and while they could hardly destroy the airship, the damage they would cause would cost a lot to repair! As for Phantron herself, she began to whisper unknow words within the dark cloud without even noticing it... ...and then, it became obvious where the wyverns came from! Plants, trees, animals were drawn into the black cloud and transformed into monsters! Phantron was acting like a vortex, drawing life in and twisted it into vile monsters that did her bidding! Such, if the pirates wanted to drive her away, they had three choices. Either they killed all enemies until Phantron ran out of life to corrupt, either they stop Phantron from corrupting more life by breaking her spell, either they killed all life around Phantron, leaving her with no materials to create more abominations. |

| Asha'man smiled slightly and turned to leave. Asha': Today is a good day you have gained favor in the eyes of the Protoss. Unfortunately your celebrations will be cut short for the one you seek is coming here. But on the bright side your journey will be a quick one. He then teleported off the ship and way out of sight. Then began to make his way to where Vincent should be. ___________________ Vincent looked first at one Blue, then the other. Wondering what to do. Vincent: Well, it's quite simple if you think about it. If the clone were to take Blue's place then he would probably knock Blue out then hurry to leave with us. This fits in what happened back at the river perfectly. Blue was taking an especially long time. Then he returned to us in a big hurry to get as far away as possible. I think I know which is which. Still looking back and forth between Blue and Blue he didn't seem secure in his own logic. It was very possible he could be wrong. Vincent: What I want to know is why any one would do this. What do they have against us? ___________________ Levi'athan had been taking this all in, one thing at a time, and had decided that his assistance was not required. They could probably survive without him for now so he turned and dissappeared into the shadows. Levi': Until we meet again... ooc:It's about 1:35a.m right now and I'm leaving to go on a church trip at 4:00a.m. I'll be gone for five days. |

| Snipes, Levi'athan, and Cyberaptor were able to get far enough away from the fright weed before the grenade exploded, but they were still showered in a disgusting sap from the plant. Cyberaptor recovered in time to notice Levi'athan disappear. Cyberaptor: So it is down to the two of us, then. I must continue my mission, and track down Phantron. You, of course, will want to come, right? Cyberaptor brushed some slime off of his armor, and set out into the trees, hot on Phantron's tail. Along his way, his antenna was busy observing everything, down to the slightest burn on a tree's leaf caused by Phantron's thrusters. One thing was certain, and that was Cyberaptor knew exactly how to find Phantron. --- As everyone listened to Vincent's logic, the Blue that had just arrived grinned happily (which was an odd sight, considering he had a beak), and the other frowned evilly. Blue: Hah! See! Proof, that I am the original Blue! Blue: False! I could have just took a long time, and then wanted to speed us up to compensate! Blue: Could have? You mean it was possible, but didn't happen? Blue: Err - uh - buh - what I mean to say is - There was a momentary silence as the fake Blue looked around at Vincent, Kyle, and the real Blue. It was obvious - his cover had been blown. Blue: ...Damn it, I HATE it when this happens!!! Before anyone could react, the fake Blue exploded into a cloud of black smoke! All anyone could see was a shadow inside the cloud, twisting out of the form of Blue and into a more human one...and insane laughter echoing from it the whole time. As the smoke cleared, an entirely new figure stood before the three. The figure wore a very dark, drab overcoat, a hat that closely resembled an old 1930's gangster cap, black gloves, black boots, and a handkerchief over his face. This costume made it impossible to determine anything about the figure - even their gender. As a matter of fact, the person seemed more like a shadow underneath its heavy clothing than an actual being. Kyle: What the hell! You've been hiding like that with us this whole time? (figure): Yes, and I believe I blended in rather nicely, before he showed up. I should have tied him up or something. Blue: You're talking like this is nothing out of the ordinary for you! Who are you? (figure): I have no identity. I am Nobody. And I am gifted with the peculiar power to change my shape - Nobody looked at Kyle, and transformed into a perfect clone! Nobody (Kyle): - at the slightest whim. Kyle was speechless, and Blue was fuming angrily. Nobody, still annoyingly in Kyle's form, turned to Vincent to answer his question. Nobody (Kyle): I've really got nothing against you lot, this is just what I do. But then, as I assumed Blue's form, I found a curious bit of information tucked into his memories - the treasure. Blue: Hey! Nobody (Kyle): Well, if I'm not with you, then I'm against you. I'll be off to see the Nightmare Weed, now, and collect the first key - I know exactly where the plant is! I might even find your guys' forms quite helpful along the way! Nobody made a step backward, but found himself immobile - Kyle had his hand held forward, using gravity to hold Nobody in place. Kyle: You think you can just walk out of here like that? I don't. I say it's time I changed your mind about this treasure! Nobody (Kyle): Oh, how funny, the Master of Gravity's going to stop me from stealing his identity, and the gold. Nobody faked laughter, but then waved his hand in the same way Kyle would - and Kyle flew backward! Nobody (Kyle): But there's one thing you forget! We're both masters of gravity now! Ah HAH hah hah! Blue: You fool! You forgot about me! Blue ran at the fake Kyle, but found himself stuck in place just like Nobody had been! Even if Vincent tried to move, he'd notice he couldn't either. Kyle was the only one who could get around this. Nobody (Kyle): Well, looky here. I guess we got ourselves a face-off! Can you fight yourself, Kyle? --- Jackson watched Asha'man teleport away, and remained silent for a moment. Jackson: Wait a moment - Phantron's here now? Just then, a monitor on his table flickered on, revealing a pirate on the other end. Pirate: Captain, sir, the golden robot has been sighted! It's approaching the ship from starboard, and fast! Jackson: No! ...Activate the secondary force field; focus energy into the upper plasma cannons; I want all men and droids who aren't servicing the engines or generators on deck, and armed! Pirate: Aye, sir! Jackson briskly walked over to a pad in the corner of his room, and pulled a switch over it, which activated the device, and teleported him to the deck! He arrived just as Phantron created the cloud of darkness over herself, and began spawning minions. As the wyverns made their way to the airship, they were halted by a platoon of flying robots that came out of a hatch on the side of the ship. These robots were powered by two anti-gravity thrusters on each side of their round bodies, and were armed with lasers and wave guns. This squad had enough bots to match Phantron's initial wave of wyverns, and each robot found a wyvern to attack. If the wyverns were able to punch through the robots, then they'd be blocked from the ship by a powerful force field that covered all but the left side of the airship, the side farthest from Phantron. Jackson: All men, hold off the underlings! Aim cannon fire at Phantron! As Jackson continued to prowl up and down the deck, pirates fired lasers and bullets at the wyverns, while the very powerful plasma cannons were aimed at the dark cloud, attempting to hit Phantron...it seemed the two sides were at a bit of a stalemate for the time. | Phantron's eyes glowed red as the cannon fire was lost in the dark cloud. Looks like the dark cloud as some kind of vortex; only a highly concentrated disruptive beam will be able to pierce trought the distorted field and strike Phantron... and even then, Phantron is a small target while the dark cloud is HUGE!... and well, since it's a dark cloud, there's no visual confirmation whenever she's in or not. Still, if it can be done, a direct hit will probably force Phantron out of her trance and allow Jackson to drive the insane monster away. ... During this time, the Dark Wyverns had arms to punch the robots with but they were infinitely more agile and their bites were precise and powerful, their teeth strong enough to pierce trought the robots' armors. In fact, the Dark Wyverns were more or less equal to the robots... but the problem is that for each Wyvern killed, Phantron sucks up two more life-forms which means that for every underling eliminated, two more underlings takes it's place. Furthermore, the beam that the ship shot did not connect with Phantron and was absorbed by the vortex, sending a "slightly" stronger anomination in the melee... Out of the dark cloud, a very long and large winged worm came out, it's mouth opening revealing tentacle-like teeth... and altought they didn't seemed solid, the teeth were just as hard as the wyverns'! The problem here was that this thing, unlike the wyverns, had a long-range attack. Soon enough, the worm dropped to the ground and crawled toward the ship, trying to get under it! If it can do so (and will do so unless fired at), it will lunge upward, latching into the ship and beginning to try and pierce the hull with a powerful acid. All in all, this worm-thing was pretty horrific... but fortunately, it didn't seemed that strong. While the robots won't be able to kill it easily (they should keep the wyverns at bay anyway) and while the ship's batteries can't kill it either, the secondary and primary cannons can kill it in one shot (altought the pirates may want to keep the main cannon for Phantron becease of the dark cloud). |

| Wiping the slime off his armour, Snipes was about to nod in agreement when he spotted something on the ground. Picking it up, Snipes hurried forward and called out to Cyberaptor, as he ran forward to catch up to him. "Hey, look at this. It came out of that plant thing. What do you think it is?" |

| Between Phantron and the airship, the droids and wyverns continued to battle. The droids seemed to be winning, for the most part, until more and more wyverns appeared, soon outnumbering the droids two to one. Fortunately for the pirates, more droids were being fast produced inside the ship at practically the same pace as Phantron, and were sent out in small waves, but Phantron's side had the numerical advantage because she started making more fighters first. The droids got pushed father and farther back to the airship... The plasma cannons, which numbered 15 in total, continued firing at a rate of about two shots per second, all aimed at the dark cloud. Jackson: Come on, you halfwits! Activate the mecha-bomb! Jackson had a plan for finding Phantron, and it started with this mecha-bomb. All of the droids suddenly stopped fighting, and created electric shields around themselves, while a bomb was set off on the ship. This bomb had the effect of stunning most machines for at least a minute, and though it would have no effect on the wyverns, it could possibly freeze Phantron in place for a time. The droids, which had properly taken defensive action, continued their combat with the wyverns. Jackson: Prepare the confusion ray! Several pirates ran across the deck, getting ready to use their next device - a very long, portable cannon with four metal arms that could be folded outward. As the worm Phantron spawned crawled along the ground, it evaded the sight of most of the pirates, but was still shot at with a small amount of lasers - not enough to kill it, though. It made its journey to the hull and out of cannon fire, but as it jumped upward, it hit the force field, which covered every side of the ship expect the left. Still, it was a powerful attack, and caused the force field to flicker slightly, possibly allowing any well-aimed attacks at the ship to go through for a second's time. Also, once the worm attacked, two defense turrets popped out of the bottom of the air ship, and unleashed a barrage of missiles at it! The turrets were a bit weak...a strong attack would destroy one. --- Cyberaptor stopped to observe the object Snipes had given him - it appeared to be a large seed. Cyberaptor's antenna scanned it. Cyberaptor: The object is a seed...although...it doesn't seem grow the same type of plant as the one we encountered....how peculiar... Cyberaptor thought hard, while his systems continued to analyze the seed...until suddenly, Cyberaptor made an exclamation! Cyberaptor: Aha! I know exactly where to find the Nightmare Weed that you and Phantron were looking for! All of the genetic information of the 'parent' plants is stored in this seed, due to its bizarre nature of growing into different specie after each generation. I was able to trace this seed's predecessors, until ultimately I came to the very first plant - the Nightmare Weed. Closer examination of this seed, coupled with the data found on the fright weed, gives me enough data to predict the movement of each plant from the Nightmare Weed. All we must do to find it is follow this predicted path, and we may locate the weed. We must be sure to tell Phantron, once we find her... A sound of a cannon shot echoed across the jungle. Cyberaptor: Did you hear that? --- Blue and Vincent watched helplessly as the two Kyles began fighting! The way the two battled with their powers, it was hard to determine who was winning - both of them just waved their arms in patterns, which usually caused the other to fly off in a random direction, or cause a phantom cut to appear on the defender. They were quite evenly matched, and neither ever got a chance to get close enough for melee. Blue: This is going nowhere! Real Kyle, can't you just counter Nobody's grasp, and let us help you!? Kyle dodged an invisible force ball, and pointed his palm toward Blue. The effect was the same as moving something in one direction, while holding it firmly still - Blue felt himself getting pulled in two direction, and yelled in pain! Blue: Ow! Stop it, never mind! Nobody (Kyle): Hey, your friend's right. This is going nowhere! I'll make this more one-sided. Two shadows appeared at each side of nobody...two circular shadows, which rose out of the ground and hovered in place right by him. Kyle gasped as he suddenly realized what the shadows represented! Nobody (Kyle): Yeah, that's right, I'm going to win now! The shadow discs each sprouted four long blades, and began spinning dangerously like saws! | Following what Cyberaptor had said, Snipes started to speak, but was cut off by the cannon noise. "Yeah, what was that?! Anyways, It might be a good idea to start heading for this "Nightmare weed", but we should make sure no vines get too close, right?" |

| Phantron cursed as she saw the worm being killed by waves of missiles... but her wyverns, altought weaker than the robots, were somewhat winning. However... for some reason, she felt that she wasn't going to win this battle... Must be nothing! Phantron smiled as she decided that the enemy airship would need a little... "rain". She suddenly stopped pulling creatures in and thus, stopped spawning wyverns. In fact, the wyverns dived into Phantron, turning back into pure energy and then, the dark cloud dissipated... But now, GIGANTIC blue rings orbited Phantron as ancient arcane symbols of unknow civilizations surrounded her body. She was casting a spell... and obviously, it was a BIG one! The sky turned red and almost seemed to divide in two as Phantron's words, which no one including the caster could understand, grew louder and louder. If the airship had advanced radar functions, it would detect that the sky hadn't opened up; Phantron had formed a rift in space and asteroids were coming this way... she was going to make meteors rain on the pirate ship! This would likely completely trash the shield and the ship itself, sending into crashing into the ground. As such, it would be in his interest to stop the spell at all cost... and since Phantron's dark cloud had dissipated, it was now the chance or never. |

| The sky turned red around Phantron and the airship, and the pirates all halted for a second, in confusion. Several men monitoring the radar systems detected slight traces of a rip in space, but couldn't be sure what to expect, as their systems weren't that advanced. Now that Phantron was in plain sight, the pirates abandoned their plan of immobilizing her and destroying her darkness cloud, and went straight on to attack! The droids, with no more foes, flew at Phantron, every man on board fired their vast array of weapons, while all of the high-powered cannons let loose their plasma...if Phantron didn't do anything, and fast, she'd be in big trouble. After the initial cannon shots, power was drawn from the cannons and transferred into the shields...Jackson expected trouble from Phantron's coming move, and decided to take a more defensive approach... --- Cyberaptor clunked down his imaginary path, followed closely by Snipes. Cyberaptor: I think that Phantron might have something to do with the cannon shot we heard...what's more, I believe that the Nightmare Weed is just past her. We'll pass Phantron along the way, and hopefully stop her from causing any harm...be on the lookout for more hostile plants, along the way. As the two continued to walk through the jungle, some unseen figures peered out of the surrounding bushes, watching them, and hardly making a sound. If Snipes happened to have acute senses, he might have been able to detect them, but only just. --- Kyle stood, rather exposed, in front of his cloney counterpart, who floated his shadow disc blades menacingly. Kyle: That's hardly fair. Can't make it on your own power? Nobody (Kyle): Oh, this is my own power. Can't you tell that they, like I, are made of shadows? I suppose with more effort I could make exact copies of your blades, but these will suffice for now. The solid black disc blades, being levitated by Nobody, flew at Kyle! He narrowly dodged the first, and ducked under the second, but was by no means safe from harm, as he well knew. The disc blades merely stopped in place, and zoomed right back at Kyle, who was forced to narrowly dodge them again and again! But Kyle couldn't keep it up - the disc blades got progressively closer to him, and soon he was receiving cuts all over his arms and torso, from just barely avoiding getting chopped in half. Kyle yawned sleepily, and quite confusedly, as he took on the wounds. Nobody (Kyle): Getting sleepy? Yes, shadow magic can do that to ya! Finally, Nobody overshot his discs, and Kyle had found a preferable distance between him and the blades, which were now stationed just as close to Nobody. Kyle cracked his knuckles, and shot out his hands, willing the disc blades to attack Nobody! Nobody grunted awkwardly as the discs stayed perfectly still, quivering slightly - with both gravity mages trying to push the discs in opposite directions, they cancelled each other out, and nothing happened! Until, the discs gained momentum, and flew dangerously toward Nobody! Nobody (Kyle): What's up with that?! Kyle: You're focusing on holding my friends still, and controlling the discs, while I'm completely set on moving the discs. You're spreading yourself too thin! The shadow discs neared closer to Nobody, now spinning like saws and gaining more force! Kyle: You now have a choice. Let go of my friends, who'll overpower you, while you block the blades - or keep a hold on to everything, and get cut up! Nobody said nothing, and the discs were mere inches from his face. Nobody (Kyle): ...Well then, check and mate. Nobody paused for a moment, and flashed black, returning to its normal form. The discs did the same. Just after this, Nobody started melting...melting into the shadows! Just as Blue and Vincent found that they were freed, and Kyle rushed after Nobody, it was already a complete shadow, and was sneaking away into the darkness! Before becoming completely lost among the rest of the shadows, Nobody shouted one last thing to Kyle. Nobody: We'll meet again, Kyle, I guarantee it! And it was silent. Blue: ...Well, that guy was a fool. And now, he's gotten away! With our identities! And he's after the treasure! And he knows where to go to find the first key! Kyle: If he's after the same goal we are, we're sure to run into him again. Next time, I won't allow him to escape! Blue: Bah, enough of that. Let's sleep, I'm tired now...I've had a bad day. | It was fairly silent as Snipes and Cyberaptor pursued Phantron...but as the two reached a clearing, they were suddenly, and unexpectedly ambushed! Darts flew at them from every direction, poisoned to put their targets to sleep almost instantly! Cyberaptor lasted for a few seconds, with his armor deflecting most of the mysterious darts, but they soon found unprotected spots, and he fell unconscious shortly after that. Cyberaptor: What...is.......this.........? The darts continued to soar through the air, now focused on Snipes, who, unbeknownst to their owners, was not entirely biological and was probably resistant to the tranquilizers. As the darts were being exhausted, numerous heads poked out of the undergrowth - heads sporting white, expressionless masks, with colorful war paint. One by one, the figures stepped out of the bushes to inspect what damage they had done - and if Snipes were still conscious, he'd see that they were just like shyguys! | "After realizing what the darts were, Snipes almost laughed. Not muchpoint to them, since he was not biological at all, and so immune to their effect. Grinning, Snipes drew his sword at the "wierdos", and called out to them. "What the hell was that?! I could laugh at you so badly it's not even funny!" Reaching to pull out a grenade to scare the things away, Snipes realized that not only had he run out of grenades, but he'd lost his backpack; and as such his reloads, at some point! looking around, Snipes saw the backpack, but in the possession of the things. "Well, you've got what belongs to me, and I don't appreciate theives." Moving forward, Snipes readied to attack the things and make sure Cyberaptor would be unharmed. Could be a bit difficul though, there were a lot. Thinking, Snipes decided to "pull one out of his hat". "Phantron, If you can hear me, I might need your help soon." |

| The pirates had attacked just a bit too late... and as such, Phantron finished her incantation thus causing the rain to happen. However... suddenly, Phantron heard someone calling to her... her heart felt warm... and then, the rings spinning around her turned pink and all the attacks reached her... but did no damage. Phantron: "Snipes..." Phantron blushed and then, no longer caring about the pirates, she flied away from the airship, still surrounded with the rings... As for the pirates... well... Out of the rift, two dozens of asteroids came down toward them! While none of them were too big, there was still the fact that asteroids raining down are, well, asteroids raining down. Upon impact with the ground, each asteroid will have the effect of a small, primitive nuclear weapon (minus the radiations) and as such, while they were really powerful, it was more their number than their power that posed a threat. |

| The shyguys curiously inspected Snipes' handbag, pulling out random devices, and senselessly defacing them. As Snipes stepped forward, one of the shyguys grunted, and pointed its spear at him! It was clear that it didn't like Snipes, and was alarmed that he hadn't yet fallen asleep. The shyguys gathered around each other and murmured quietly, conferencing among themselves...and then jumped at him, brandishing tough nets made from vines! The shyguys tried to catch Snipes in it, and beat him silly with clubs afterward. While some of the shyguys attack Snipes, other heaved Cyberaptor into a separate net, and prepared to carry him off into the woods! Yet more shyguys poured into the area, taking cover in the bushes, and ready to help their friends if Snipes escaped their nets. --- As Phantron flew away, Jackson was prepared to chase her down! However, the asteroids seemed to halt any plans of his for the moment. They rained down, bursting upon impact with the now powered shields, but were obviously wearing it away, and fast. Jackson barked more orders to his crew, and the airship was soon flying after Phantron, in an attempt to keep sight of her and escape the asteroids! Soon, the shields were completely overpowered, and the actual airship itself started taking damage...yet it still quickly flew after Phantron, now firing extremely powerful blasts with its main cannon. Jackson wasn't about to allow Phantron to escape, and give her the chance of a surprise attack in the future! (edited by CheesePie on 07-28-05 09:17 PM) |
