I just took my finals yesterday.

Oh, the cheapest way for a teacher to ensure that a student gets a question wrong > ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THINGS THE CLASS NEVER WENT OVER!!! Grr...I'm so angry at my English teacher. He did this. On purpose, no doubt.

In my algebra class in eighth grade, something was going wrong. I don't know if it was the difficulty of the questions, or the fact that the teacher couldn't lecture well at all, or the fact that the textbook sucked, or what. But, in several of the tests we took in that class, more people failed than passed. Sometimes we were allowed to do a test over if we failed, but sometimes we just had to take the failing grade. And there were only about five grades a quarter in that class, so one bad test could kill you.

I just finished my finals yesterday (SIX FUCKING FINALS IN ONE WEEK!! ARGH!!). I'm glad that it's over with... until I get my marks back next week.
I'm glad I won't be getting my Biology 3201 exam mark back until july/august (ahh, the joys of Public Exams)... I have a bad feeling about my marks on that one.
OH!! I ALWAYS study with music playing. It's usually some orchestrated movie soundtrack (ex. Lord of the Rings) or an instrumental Video Game mix. And hey, judging by my 93% average, I must be doing something right!
EDIT: 92% Average... got my report card today (06/22/05)

Consider it a good thing that you have exams at all. The marks for my course are 100% derived from coursework. Sounds wonderful, yet I have gone and left myself

I love final exams. I don't like doing homework (and most of the time I don't do it). I always get As on tests though.. no need to study, or even remain awake in class. Not sure how I do it, but I do. A gift, I guess.

omg no it doesn't
I am always greatful for exams. Sometimes for finals my teachers like to be phresh and make us do some crazy project, or even worse, an oral presentation. Presentations always make me sick to think about. I'm not too hot with keeping up with homework, I rely on tests to keep my grade up.
Tests have never been something I really dreaded though, I don't know why. I can get a lot with very little studying.

Presentations! It was once required of me to do a Power Point presentation, and so I took advantage of the resources available to me and inserted an extremely fast moving jpeg of my tutor's face on every page. It would whizz past the screen each time, and no one knew what it was until the end where it stopped under a message reading "The End, or is it?"

The hilarity was trumped by an insane laughing fit I had halfway through my presentation. My advice to you is, never put

I heard cramming never works. The smart thing would have been to study all week.

Tests kill me. I can do the homework and any other work or participation to get points, and I usually dont have a problem with presentations, but I never seem to do well on tests in most of my classes. That really sucks because test grades are always a high percentage of class grades.

I would normally do terrible on tests, unless they were in essay form. I would do a killing on essays, especially in history class. Most of the time, I would go over the limit that would be do.
