Okay, my bad. I should've provided justification. I don't know what specific "piecemeal beliefs" CESum may have, and if they're not so shallow, that's okay. But when I hear "piecemeal", I think of people who pick and choose what beliefs sound cool to them, and then turn that into their religion. That's really no way to approach spirituality.

I guess it's still insulting to criticize the furry Christians. So I'll... save it. Sorry.

Though it's probably insulting to say that people who think they are Christians really aren't Christians. You know.

I am a Christian, a Protestant to be exact. I believe that Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross, then came back to life.

You want to know why?

You may think I'm weird that I know this, but....

Most scientists agree that the beginning of the universe was created in what was called the Big Bang. When the universe first existed, it consisted of matter and antimatter. When the two touch each other, boom-they both are instantly destroyed. In fact, according to the experts, the chances of anything in this universe existing are the same as the chances as blowing up a junkyard and having it all come together to form a perfecty-running, high-speed sports car. Yet somehow, against that odd, the beginning universe produced more matter than antimatter, and that matter became....well, everything that exists.

For me, that's enough to prove that there is a God.

Every religion sickens me. Every. All. You know why? The members of every religion say that they love their fellow man. Then, they try and get them the fuck outta their sight. Explain that! "All those who do not believe that Christ is truely risen will go to Hell!" That wasn't the exact quote, but it was exact in meaning. So, 400,000,000 people are going to hell if the non-believers perished right now? The same rules apply to every other religion, so it's a lose lose situation. I don't even care anymore.

Well it's not all that much different from what the US does in foreign policy: We believe in the freedom of all people but we spend most of our time fucking the rest of the world over.

I don't try to get people to convert, and I never have. I am fine with their religon, and so far not many people have had a problem with mine. I found that comment to be a bit offensive to be honest. I wasn't a nice thing to say, and if you read it over I think you might realize that too...

You truly know nothing of the Christian faith do you? If you would read the bible, then you would probably understand more. More specifically, Revelations.

Yea, I'm sure the figure is more than 400 million. Try 4 billion.

Or are you implying that non-Christians don't go to Hell? What about John 3:16 and whatnot? Once again, even if you can outquote me on the Bible, hundreds of millions do believe that, yes, those pagan babies born in Africa are going to hell.

Once again, you show that you know little and assume much. It's not wise to do that on a subject you obviously know very little about.

Well, then you should be a good Christian and do me the favor of correcting my misinformed conceptions.

As a man who is obviously wiser than me once said, "Are you going to explain why or.....?"

I would, but I feel your too stupid to understand them. That, and you're just setting me up for your flaming garbage. And I don't mean that as an insult either, I really do feel as if your brain is not developed enough to the point where you can accept something someone else says that you don't agree with and not just put up a barrier thinking that you can think and do no wrong.

I can accept what you say, as long as you say it correctly. If you're unwilling to do so, you can certainly say as much without the condescending words. I think I must make a better Christian than you.

ps. My underdeveloped brain tells me you should work on your your/you're usage.

Now you've gone and mucked up your own thread. =\ Oh well.

What a load of garbage, as always.

I wont feed what is obviously a troll. You've purposely went against the rules of my thread and have been disrespectful in it as well, which is clearly an offense in the Officers Forum.

Now you can be grown up for a change and try being a little smarter or you can just keep digging your hole deeper.

"Let he who is without sin..."

Hm, I remember the quote. Do you? You certainly aren't being respectful yourself, calling people who have different views of your religion ignorant.

Anyways, I know I'll get in trouble if I stay around to entertain you at the moment. So I'll be off for now. Ta.~

Note: I didn't call anyone ignorant because of their views, I called them ignorant because they're.....get this....ignorant. Too hard for you to understand? Probably.

Bye troll.

This is getting out of hand... hhallahh is disobeying a lot of rules of this thread. I thought that you would be a little less candid about religion, man. This IS a serious thread in a serious topic. Start acting like it.

If you want to be technical about it, Legion broke his own rule first by criticizing Clockworkz, I questioned Legion's criticism, and then Legion criticized me as well. And so while I won't say that I'm unimpeachable in the current predicament, I'd also have to point out that "he started it!" And his posts are a lot closer to flaming than mine. I'm trying to withdraw peacefully now, so that this thread may continue, but I don't really want to be slandered. Actually, that's not true, I just want to make my point for the record in case an admin decides to target me. I'll have a sound case this time, just like the last.

Actually Legion wasn't really criticizing Clockworkz, just recommending that he read Revelations before talking about Christianity. Other than that, It seems like you started this whole mess by criticizing his reccomendation. As for your withdrawal, cool, and nobody attempted to slander you.

Yea, but I read Revelations (in addition to Genesis, Exodus, Isaiah, Daniel, Amos, Gospel of Matthew, John, and Thomas, and Romans), and apparently I don't know a damn thing. Ah well.

ps. (<~ tee) Legion, when you get back, do us all a favor and don't respond to this, since you'll only get me started again. And we can agree that that's not good.
