| Yes, admins and mods have reasons to close threads. Some threads are stupid to the point of even making a big guy throwing a sad crying fit. The ways they indicate the threads are closed can sometimes be pretty comical. I'm not meaning to flame in any way. That is why I chose handy Craziness Domain as the option to post this. I hope admins, mods and regular guys enjoy a list I'm making and hopefully add to it. List of every fancy way an admin or mod here ever told a thread was closed: *Ker-close* [Burninated thread] *smack* [dead] [closed] *closes* [yoink] [plasma rifles whole thread] *McCloses* KER NO! [shoves thread in microwave] [incinerates] [snaps finger, thread closes] *SLAMS thread shut* *Closey closey* *reclosey closeys* *Closey closey, again* No one cares. *closes* (Cuh-LOSE) [Dead thread] *closes spammy thread* CLOSE, MOTHERFUCKER. | This is the best way to close a thread. I sometimes get annoyed by a mod posting something like *closes* before closing a thread that obviously was trash anyway. It seems to contribue nothing. If threads aren't obviously bad to begin with, and I'm up for closing it, I try to explain why it should be closed before shutting it down. I used to do this.  Uma still rules. |

| If it's an advertising thread, or a thread like ... "u guys are poopy" then I don't think you even need to reply, but just trash it. But, if it's something else like a bump or an accidental thing, than yeah an explanation should be posted. Good karma.  |

| That reason is because if they do that, they must not know the rules at alll. So we instead are telling it to them. It is not a post just to post, you know. I think that most of the moderaters do a good job at closing threads 'properly' (Kawa's are the most funny I have seen yet). I have not had to close one yet, Ionno.
