I found this bug on a game bug site called Wazap.

First, get a carrot and be Bunny Mario.
Go to Tree zone stage 3.
Go up the pipe, and bring the bee over to the pipe.
Then, go down the pipe and lead the bee down to near the starting point.
When the bee comes to the starting point of the level,
step on the bee and jump very high.
You'll get up on the wood on the top of the screen.

Now, play around in that place for a while...
and at some place it will make a pipe sound.
(The pipe object is at the right side, so try to go right near the top)
Mario will start to scroll, but leave him alone.
Then he will end up into a place and falls down...
Where there is a glitched level!!!

Sorry, I have no screenshots, but it worked on my English ver. of SML 6GC.
There is a screenshot on the 4th and 5th post.

The title is confusing, as it fooled me into believing that you was talked about SML6 and not "Super Mario Land 2: The six golden coins".

I just had to point it out. And oh, I hadn't played SML2 in forever, this is a good reason to check it out again...

This glitch is quite strange, but interesting nonetheless.

To elaborate on Ikuzou's description:
1. Get to the beehive level in the Tree Zone. Make sure you have a carrot, or it will be difficult to reach the upper portion of the level to use the glitch.


2. Lure a bee to the starting point of the level.


3. Bounce off its head to land on the wood above.


4. From here, climb as high as you can, and jump around a bit. It seems a bit random on where to jump into, but eventually you should hear a pipe sound effect and be sucked through the ceiling into the wall above.


5. Mario should be pushed through the floor of the upper area. Jumping now will cause Mario simply to dislodge from the wall, and the level will proceed as usual.


6. He should eventually fall, to the accompaniment of another pipe sound...


7. ...and end up below the level in a blank area.


There does not seem to be any other use for this glitch that I can see, since once you've fallen there is no way up. I wonder what exactly forces Mario into the wall in the first place, and why a pipe sound plays...

Here's what I saw.

See? It's very well glitched.

I think if you move right from where Kamek77 is,
You'll get to this point.

Oh yeah, there is a goal point block somewhere in here,
maybe, maybe fun searching for it.

I found the area you showed there. It is not in the area where Mario lands (at least in my ROM), but if I get the glitch to trigger when I am a form of Mario that is able to spin-jump, I can break some blocks and fall, eventually, down to that area.

I guess the glitch may not work the same on these two different ROMs.

EDIT:
I just tried it on my SML2 cartridge, and I fell directly into the area you showed (and crashed the game several times trying to explore). Maybe I just have a bad ROM?
