| OOC: Here's an open challenge to the first one to respond. Preferably I'd like someone I haven't fought recently or at all, but if this thread goes several days with no reply then hey, it's all yours. I will be using a character I have NEVER used before, but she has been mentioned several times in the Story Forum and Battle Arena. She is a Psi Warrior, just like Schwa, but her Ether type is Courage, Red ether, not Honor which is Blue ether... This means her special attacks are mostly different and her stats are a little different. Whatever happens, good luck, be creative and fight with Honor.  "Schwa, target at 2500 feet north." "Got it, Allaura. You may return to HQ." Allaura sighs to herself as she begins heading back to Crystal Psipalace. Allaura is an attractive young Psi Warrior, about Schwa's age, a 17 year old female with long brown hair that hangs behind her, and waves in the wind while she's flying. She wears white, loose clothes but her blindfold is grey. Red ether streaks behind her as she flies 200MPH through the air, on her way back to the palace. But on the way her eye catches something unusual. "WHOA!" It's an island in the waters below that was NEVER there before. It's in the shape of a turtle shell and has thick jungle all over it. "That's it, I HAVE to check that out." She telepathically contacts Sensae. "Allaura here. Schwa is on his mission, and I must attend one of my own. HQ must wait. Allaura out." And she circles down to the jungle island below her. As she lowers altitude, she senses a figure standing there, watching her. She contacts the figure. "You down there! What is your Alignment? Speak up, do not lie." |

| OFF: I really... REALLY want to post in this thread! I'll be using a character I never used before also!... altought, just like your character, Schwa, it was mentionned in another thread before... ____________________________________________________________________ ???: "Hmm... what do you mean by Alignment?" The being turned around to face Allaura, revealing it's form. It seemed to be of the same specie that the being know as "Ex Lightheart" some Psy Warriors had met in the past... and it also had the same intense aura of darkness. However, there was something definitely wrong with it... It seemed as if the power of the Oracles was flowing trought her while at the same time, a dark power flowed trought her. The two opposite energies were causing the being to constantly degenerate... The being was very young. In human years, it is 7 years old at most... and yet, it is dying. The being knew she was dying... but unstead of being sad over the fact that her lifespan would be very, very short... she was trying to live as much experiences as possible. She hoped that she could do everything a lifetime normally contain within the time she was allowed... ???: "Your aura... you're a Psy Warrior, right?" The being stared at Allaura intensely, scanning her aura... ???: "Weird! You have such a raw power... and it's all red unstead of blue! I still think red is beautiful! I wonder why it's red... maybe your energy is different or something?" The being stepped foward and smiled with all the innocence of a child... which she was. ???: "Anyway... sorry about all that. Now... could you give me a name, please? Make it nice, please?" |

| OOC: Oh boyohboyohboyohboy... I get to fight a half-Oracle! Zero, make this an excellent fight. I've been waiting for this day! Immediately Allaura's personality softens. "My name's Allaura. Yes, I am a Psi Warrior." Allaura could have read the child's mind, but she feels she has no business doing that unless the child was Evil. Allaura can't tell if the kid is or not, so she circles down and lands her flying disc on the island. With a wave of her hand, the disc disintegrates into particles and exits the Material Plane. All that's there is the girl with white, loose clothes, a grey blindfold, and long brown hair. She seems peppy enough. Slight amounts of red ether flicker around her hands. "By Alignment, I mean are you Good or Evil? And I have another question. This island wasn't here 10 minutes ago, so... why is it here now? It seems to be a very special island as it is shaped perfectly like a giant turtle shell. You don't... happen to know anything about it, by any chance?" Though gentle, Allaura is prepared to battle if absolutely necessary, but not unless. She really isn't expecting a battle, but who knows? |

| OFF: I'll try and make it as good as possible... the only problem I have is: What reason will cause our two characters to fight? Allaura doesn't seem to be the kind that resort to violence easily... and my nameless "Ex" being doesn't fight unless her life is on the line since people gets sad when she harm them and seeing people sad make her sad. ____________________________________________________________________ The child seems a little bit annoyed that Allaura ignored her when she asked to be given a name... but it only took her half-a-second to forget about it. ???: "Well... I don't know. I've been told that one's actions determine his or her Alignement, not the nature. If the nature determined one's Alignement... I would still be undetermined. You see... I am the new prototype of the living weapons called "Ex". A new type of energy, Oracle energy, is flowing trought my veins... which, according to reports, is Good. On another hand, I am pure Darkness and Darkness is regarded as Evil... so I'm Evil too!" The child laughed but then, it suddenly grasped it's chest and backed off, as if she was in great pain. Then, she coughed up blood... lots of blood. It was a really disgusting scene. She tried her best to control herself... to stop coughing and not to cry... but some tears did appear... After several seconds of coughing, the child finally stopped... ???: "It... it... hurts... but... it stopped." The child made a few steps toward Allaura, getting back at the distance she was from her at first. ???: "So... sorry about that... You see, they say that the Oracle and Dark energies are incompatible and since I'm the first of this generation to survive incubation, the energy balancing method was not developped... and now, I'm incompatible with the modules they made. As such... they say that my very body is hacking itself apart from inside. I have half a year to live at most... or something like that... could be more, could be less..." The child suddenly started jumping as if it was excited. It is weird how she could suddenly change her mood from serious and sad to excited and happy... ???: "Who cares about that, anyway? I made a new friend!... and you'll give me a name, won't you? Identification numbers are OK... but names are better! When you get a name, it's that you're special, unique! I'm special, am I? The Admiral says that I am..." The child paused for a second... well, less than a second actually. It was speaking really, really quickly. ???: "Oh! I had almost forgot! Your question about this island... Well, I don't know but I was on an artificial island when they teleported me to this world. Maybe the island I was on was teleported along with me? It was a gigantic island-ship! In short, a mechanical turtle that has all the materials needed for plantlife and animals to appear on it's back! It's usually used when first arriving on water worlds where building orbital space stations or underwater cities is not recommended... or something like that." The child began to bounce around Allaura! ???: "But who cares about details? I got a friend! I got a friend!" |

| OOC: It'll take a few posts, but I'll find a way to get the battle on. "I already told you, my name is Allaura. You sure are jumpy today..." Allaura stands still, very thoughtful. Here was a character with half a year to live and she still was so energetic and happy. Allaura knew that Schwa wouldn't be able to emotionally handle this kind of situation, but Allaura herself was a more emotionally stable Psi Warrior. That was probably due to the fact that during Schwa's first mission, he gave up a portion of his emotional self-control to gain the Oracle Spirit-Splicing Trick. Allaura telepathically contacts Schwa. "Schwa, have you begun your mission yet? There's something you oughta see." "Yeah, I kinda HAVE! Ouch!" There is a small telepathic backlash, giving Allaura a small headache. That happens only when the psychic connection is severed by a jolt of pain. Which means... Schwa's in trouble! "Ex... I'll call you Ex. A friend of mine is... well, in trouble, and I need to go help him. How 'bout you come with me? I'll summon an extra Disc. It's easy, just control it with your thoughts and you can fly." Without giving her time to answer, Allaura waves her hand again, and this time two crystal discs materialize. One is surrounded in red ether, and one is surrounded in dark-silver ether. Allaura steps onto the red disc and it begins to hover into the air. "Hurry! I'll answer questions later!" And she flies off. |

| A good 7 minutes of flying later... "Okay Ex, there's Schwa. Stay back from it." Allaura is staring ahead at a huge beast... One slime-covered eyeball emitting green sparks by the base, surrounded by a horde of tiny eyeballs. The large eye is standing (or sitting, lol) in the middle of a gloomy swampland, but it has crushed many of the trees. A figure is flying circles around it, firing blue Ether projectiles at the eye, while the eye is launching HUGE thunderbolts at the figure in return. The worst part is that the figure doesn't seem to be able to hurt the beast too much, while the beast in return is seeming to have quite the upper hand against the figure. Allaura flies closer. "Schwa! You should've bloody told me it was a Virtuos you were fighting!" "Dude... Who's that? Whoa!" He dodges an incoming thunderbolt. "Her name is Ex." "Ex Lightheart? On a Psi Disc? Incredible! Get her to fight!" "Oh, is it Ex Lightheart? The one you told me about in your stories? Hmm... She seemed different than the description you gave me. She looks younger." "No time for nitpicking! Tell her to-- What the hell?" The Virtuos is dematerializing! It's surrounding itself in a black cloud and teleporting away. "Ohhhh NO you don't!" Schwa yells, but it's too late. "Dammit! Now I have to track it again. Allaura, leave this to me. I want you to do me a favor and spar with Ex Lightheart. She's a friend of mine, and incredibly elite in battle. You could learn something from her." "But--" "No time for questions. G'bye!" And Schwa wavers out of existance. Allaura sighs and flies to the ground. "Ex, come down here. There's grass where I'm standing, not marsh," Allaira telepathically tells the Ex being. She seriously doubts her friend is Ex Lightheart, and almost will regret asking what she's about to have to ask. But Sensae, all the way in Crystal Psipalace, who's watching this entire episode, is smiling. He knows if Allaura and Ex get to spar, Ex will discover things about herself-- and Oracles-- that nobody has ever dreamed of before. OOC: As you can see, there is a Field Change. The battlefield is now over marsh instead of jungle. |

| "That was a demon of great power," Allaura stalwartly explains to the young Ex. "It was a Virtuos. They were first born when the Prince of Darkness Ganon used his power to create one in the swamp, guarding one of the 7 Crystals. A hero defeated it, but it's spawn hid underground where they grew bigger and bigger as the years went by... Every so often one will come to the surface world and rampage. Psi Warriors are embodyments of Good, like Schwa and I, and our jobs are to kill those kinds of creatures wherever they are. "And yes, we do get hurt while doing it. Some of us even die!" She lets the words sink in. "But see, we're blessed. Watch." She flares her right arm with ether as much as possible, and it illuminates the sky. 6 seconds later, it dies down. "That was an example of something called the Living Assets. The Living Assets are the three most powerful forces in all existance, and they are Virtue, Respect and Honor. When I became a Psi Warrior, my soul became one with the Living Assets, and it remains infused to this day. That's why I flare with Ether, and that's where I get my powers-- from those three forces. "So you and I are a lot alike. You are an Ex creature, meaning you have some DNA of one of the strongest types of creatures in you. Didn't you say you were a generation of the Living Weapon? And I... My soul is infused with the Living Assets and is stronger than all Holy Gods combined. So we're both really strong warriors, aren't we? "So I ask a favor of you. I want you and I to have a spar. A spar is when two friends meet, and have a firendly battle, not to kill anyone, but to make both of us stronger and more experienced. You don't have to worry about harming me, because if I get badly hurt, Schwa can heal me. And if I hurt you too badly, we'll stop sparring and I'll heal you. Does that sound good? You don't have to be afraid to say no." Allaura sighs and thinks, "That went well. I hope it was a good enough speech... She's young, but anyone like her could understand my logic... I hope..." |

| Ex stared at Allaura... she wasn't sure how to react... Ex: "A fight? You want to... fight me?" Ex closed her eyes and turned her back to Allaura as she tought... then... after a somewhat long moment, she turned back to Allaura. Ex: "... I was told that as an "Ex" being, I would be forced to fight... and that even sometimes, I would face my own friends... I guess it is the Admiral's will." Ex searched in her right pocket... and finally found what she was looking for. In her right hand was a pendant... with a green eye on it. Ex: "It is... my weapon. I named it Luigi, becease it's eyes are all green like the Legendary Hero's brother and it's also quite long and thin... like him. Luigi is my partner... it's said that it's infused with the same power as me and will grow at the same time as me too!" Ex stared at the pendant's eye... Ex: "Now, could you say hi to our new friend!... oh, don't be shy! There, it wasn't too hard! Really? You think so? I see... Well, he thinks that you look like a nice person. Huh? You think so? But... it will make her sad!... what? You think? You're sure? I see..." Ex changed the way she held the pendant and soon enough, the pendant trasnformed into a sword made of flesh! Unlike most Dark Weapons, this one seemed, just like it's wielder, young. It's eyes were all goggly and cute and it's flesh was pink like candy. The blade's edge hadn't formed completely yet and as such, the sword didn't seemed very sharp as well. The sword wasn't longer than it's wielder yet too. It was only half her size unstead of twice her size... Ex: "Luigi says that he wants to plunge into your soul energy and see for himself what are your hopes, dreams, and all that... but it's also very hungry unfortunately. Luigi was not really thinking it when he said that he wanted to pierce trought your flesh and absorb your blood. I must have just forgot to feed it yesterday or something..." Ex took a fighting stance... or would have been, if she hadn't started coughing, covering herself and the ground with blood. As she tried to control herself, large shockwaves of dark and holy energy were shot from her body in random directions, destroying everything in their path. Most bolts were sent at angles far away from Allaura... but one of them was sent directly toward her. |

| "Uh-oh... Neon Mirror- Pearl!" (echo effects) Allaura holds her hands in front of her and brings them apart vertically, and hovering in between them forms an invisible mirror, which still gleams white in the light so it can clearly be seen. The Neon Pearl Mirror is the perfect way to deflect any and all Darkness-type attacks, including the Darkness-type shockwave heading towards her. Allaura uses this most often to send attacks back at her attacker, but for this occasion she tilted the mirror a little to knock the attack high into the sky, away from the battle. She did this because Ex's attack was unintentional. "I'll give you a slight break, though, because of... that. I feel real bad for you because you have that challenge... Six months to live and that's all? That's... awful! I promise you, you can learn tons through battling, and if you want to learn as much as possible in 6 months, then your Admiral is correct." Allaura waits for Ex to stop coughing, then holds her hands together. "Here it comes, Ex!" They flare up with ether, and three rings of red ether fly in a row at Ex. Each one does slight Holy/Psychic damage if it hits; if all 3 hit the damage total is pretty good for such a basic attack. |

| As the bolt was deflected, Ex was finally able to control herself... She remained still for a while, thinking... and then, she slowly stood up. She looked awfully serious... Ex: "Allaura... if you truly are my friend... then I don't want you to show me mercy. The Admiral says that it is something that most other beings cannot understand about us... he says that other beings won't understand that only by diving into the depths of our worst nightmares will we feel truly alive..." Ex closed her eyes as her own nightmare surfaced... Ex: "When I first learnt to wield Luigi, I was a friend with half-"Ex" beings... but someday, a couple of bandits attacked. We were only children praticing and since I was the only one with a real weapon, we stood no chance... the bandits tried to force us to become ostages... but something went wrong and they were forced to execute my friends. It was that or the Hunters would capture them... but my friends' deaths... I barely remember their deaths. What I remember is something else..." Ex opened her eyes. It seemed as if something was glowing in her eyes... a hidden, sadistic desire. Truly something you wouldn't espect to find in such a seemingly happy-go-lucky child... Ex: "Death... I killed them, one by one, all by myself... using Luigi. There was blood... everywhere... The bandits were afraid, they felt pain, they didn't wanted to fight a child, they felt regret... I could all feel it... but one thing I could feel within me was the desire for death, both for them and myself. I... killed them. Somewhere in the middle of the fight, Hunters arrived... I heard people tell me not to kill them... to let the judges decide their fates... I did not listen. I killed them, slowly... one by one, making sure every last drop of blood would flow out of them... and then, once I finished, I felt as if I had been drugged or something... The feeling of dying among the corpses of your defeated enemies... it is a feeling that only living weapons can understand." Ex stared at Luigi's eye on the hilt of the sword... Ex: "I never stopped having this nightmare... but it's not scary in the fact that it fills me with terror... what scares me is... that I feel pleasure from it. As a living weapon, it is espected that I should be fascinated by death... but when I am in battle, a second personality seems to emerge... a cruel, sadistic one..." Ex smiled... Ex: "...and this personality feels much, much more real than the happy one... which shocks me since my usual self should be my true self... right?" |

So there is a lot more to you Ex beings than meets the eye. I'll have to remember that. Golly, I wonder if Sensae knows about the Ex generations? I'll have to ask him later." Allaura's attack continues on it's way toward it's target. |

| OFF: OOPS! Sorry. I must have not read your post correctly or something... Also... notes about Ex. As a child, her energy is much more raw and less concentrated than an adult's power. As such, Ex may not be able to control the power of her attacks, striking hard when she doesn't seek to and running out of energy when she actually attempts to unleash her big moves. Also, like most "Ex" beings, Ex is EXTREMELY powerful... and many of the flaws that Ex Lightheart had are not present or reduced within this new Ex. As such, her dependance on Dark Overdrives has decreased (better non-Dark Weapon based Techs) and the cooldown phases between Dark Overdrives are much shorter (she may use them every 2 turns unstead of every 5 posts). However, Ex's Dark and Oracle powers may randomly turn against each others, paralysing Ex and inflicting medium to heavy damage to her. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex stares at the incoming rings of ether... and hormones begin to flow trought her veins as a familiar feeling and familiar instincts surface... She had seemingly changed physically... or was it? The way she stood, the attitude... Another personality had seemingly surfaced and taken over. Ex pointed her beloved Luigi foward... and waited for the rings to come so close that she could almost touch them. Then, a burst of dark flames came out of her body as she used her inner powers to increase her physical abilities much, MUCH farther beyond their limits. As she jumped over and ran around the rings, it seemed as if she had turned into a ray of light... Then, the yellow blur stopped right in front of Allaura and her aura changed to Oracle energy. Ex gathered all of her strenght and then did an upward diagonal slash, trying to cut Allaura in two!... but as she did so, large spheres of Oracle energy were scattered around. All in all, this was a strong altought rather cliched and somewhat easy to avoid attack... but the goal of the attack wasn't truly to damage. After all, Oracle energy is not really used in direct attacks... Ex was, in truth, just preparing the terrain for her real, actual Oracle-elemental attacks by spawning the Oracle Spheres that would be used for her attacks. | OOC: So basically what you're saying is that this Ex is less well-rounded than Lightheart. Her stat chart is more "jagged", she may damage herself and her attacks are less focused and more raw. It reminds me of the difference between Pikachu and Pichu off Super Smash Bros. Melee. Yes, the difference between Allaura and Schwa is that Schwa is WAY more well-rounded than Allaura. You'll notice that soon. Allaura stands ready for Ex's oncoming attack... As Ex slashes, red ether flares up around Allaura and her arms go up to block This ether technique reduces some of the damage (nowhere near the defensive capabilities as Schwa's blue ether, though), but has a side-effect: Allaura's Attack Power climbs a few points upon being hit. Immediately after Ex's attack, Allaura gracefully steps to the side and "glides" along the ground backward, hovering an inch above it. She stops 10 feet away and casts an ability. "Crimson Bubble!" (echo effects) Red ether swirls into the air for a few seconds, and while this is happening a bubble, deep red in color, forms next to Ex. In 3 seconds it's complete, and it's about the size of a basketball. The bubble is filled with orange wisps inside that look like fireflies in the night, and the bubble perpetually orbit's Ex's head from 5 feet away, never getting any closer or farther away. But the bubble doesn't seem to be dangerous. "Strong attack, Ex! Even my natural defense wasn't especially helpful against that blade of yours. But Crimson Bubble will fix that..." |

| OFF: Basically, you got it right. I didn't tought of it this way before... but well, now that I think about it, you're totally right! ____________________________________________________________________ Ex didn't anwsered. She was completely focused on only one goal: to defeat her foe or to be defeated trying. There were no alternatives in her mind. She was a weapon and was in her element. To kill or be kiled... minus the "kill" part. Ex closed her eyes and suddenly, Ex was no longer wielding a single weapon... she was wielding 31 of them! All 31 spheres of Oracle energy were now incarnations of Luigi, which mimicked the functions of an Oracle's Guardian Spirit! Ex: "You tought my last attack was impressive? I was only paving the way... for this!" CHAOS SPEAR!!! The spheres were sent flying at an incredible speed from all angles toward Allaura! Just like regular Guardian Spirit spheres, those spheres would gather data on the foe upon each impact, gaining an element and thus, increasing in damage for each strike... and since all spheres were linked to Luigi, it meant that each sphere would strike harder than the last until the last one struck for the maximum amount of damage! Fortunately, Oracle-based attacks are know for their rather low damage... but since the spheres came from all sides, at least a quarter of them were sure to hit and it was very probable that at least half of them would connect. Each individual sphere only did as much damage as a regular punch... but the damage is cumulative and each hit that connect increase the power of all the spheres slightly... as long as Allaura's element doesn't change. ... As for the Crimson Bubble... Ex ignored it for now but Luigi kept an eye on it for her. She suspected it might be dangerous... (edited by Zerodius on 06-11-05 07:46 AM) |

| "Holy f--k! ORACLE energy!!?" Allaura crouches and surrounds herself in red ether. She intends for EVERY single sphere to hit her, which would be drastic for her but downright dire for Ex. Each sphere slams into Allaura, the ether decreasing some of the damage, but after all 31 hits have struck the damage is quite high. And with every hit, Allaura's Attack power climbs a few points. But Crimson Bubble has been activated! Each hit Allaura took made the wisps inside glow brighter until the whole bubble was glowing a hot-white. And 3 seconds after the last sphere struck the mark, the bubble increased in size, then shrank to normal, at the same time firing thousands of little white wisps at Ex! They pour out of the bubble and the bubble is always 5 feet away from Ex's head, orbiting it, so dodging more than a slight few of these wisps is out of the question. The total amount of damage the entire cluster of projectiles does is equal to ALL the damage Allaura received in total, plus a little more since Allaura's attack power has climed quite a bit (hey, after 32 strikes, whaddya expect?). It also has the same elemental properties of Ex's attack, in this case, Oracle, so it would even have the same data-gathering effect (but collected data would ONLY benefit future Oracle attacks, not any of Allaura's Psychic or Holy moves). After Crimson Bubble finishes shooting all it's wisps, it's red again and completely empty. But it's slowly filling up with orange wisps again, and in a few turns it would be fully charged to counter another move. Also: The red part of the bubble looks a little more dull and even transparent than before, almost as if it has withered a little. By now, Allaura is kneeling to Ex and saying some kind of quiet prayer. Though it can't be heard, this is what she's saying: "To Kyr'Shei, the Oracle Master... Bless this child, one of your daughters. Forgive me for my ignorance of not realizing her identity. Watch over us both as we strengthen our bodies and minds." Yes, Psi Warriors seem to hold Oracles in high religious regard. Go fig. |

| Ex stares at the wisp and begin to think about how she could... Ex: "GASP!" Ex grasped her chest as the wisps came in close and began to strike her!... but most of the damage wasn't dealt by the wisps altought they did made the situation worse! Ex's energy signature went awry. Overcharged with Oracle energy, Luigi twisted around, taking the form of a large snake. It then jumped out of her hands and surrounded her completely. Then, it applied as much pressure as possible, trying to stop the internal bleeding as her inner energy went crazy. Luigi's outter surface also repelled a few wisps... When Ex was done, Luigi as well as herself were completely covered with blood. Luigi slowly returned to it's form... But then, something made Ex's concentration disappear.... Schwa: "To Kyr'Shei, the Oracle Master... Bless this child, one of your daughters. Forgive me for my ignorance of not realizing her identity. Watch over us both as we strengthen our bodies and minds." As Ex heard this, she suddenly felt something within her breaking up. As she saw her reflection in the blood-covered metal of Luigi, she wanted to cry... It was only training... and yet, she had been unable to control herself as she struck, seeking to kill. Her rage had caused the protective, positive Oracle energy to turn against her corrupted, destructive Dark energy. For it was corrupted and if the Hunters couldn't do anything to repair it, then one could... She was supposed to be the holiest of all holy beings... infused with the pure Dark power of the "Ex" beings and the meta-morphic nature of the Oracles... and yet, she was a fKitten Yiffer. No wonder they ordered her to live her life to the fullest... for she was unable to fulfill any important duty. Who knows when she would turn against her own allies, hurting those she cares about?... or who knows when her body will finally break, sending her to the Emptiness? Luigi: "Maybe we shouldn't continue... you're only hurting yourself... and it makes you sad. I don't want to see you sad." Ex *thinks* I must... overcome... my flaws. The powers within me... must only hurt myself, not my friends. I MUST control them and for that, there's only one way to do it. Luigi *thinks* But... do you know how much damage you'll inflict to yourself?!? Ex *thinks* It is my nature, Luigi... I do not fear pain or even death. What I fear is weakness of the soul and forsaking those I fight for. Ex wipped the blood off her mouth and resumed her battle position. Ex: "Allaura... the rules have changed... I must control those powers within me... If I can't control them... then my life is meaningless for I will be a threat not only to myself, but to those I care for..." Ex pointed Luigi at the Crimson Bubble. Ex: "I begun this fight in order to pratice my skills... I will continue it becease that I need to learn. To control the Oracle energy and the Dark energy... to blend them together without spreading death... such is my goal. As such, I want you to continue attacking. Only by putting myself in a battle situation will I be able to fully control my powers." Ex concentrated... now that the Oracle spheres were there and that she Luigi was ready to unleash it's power again, she was going to attempt to mix the ways of the Dark Overdrive with Oracle energy. A burst of black flames came out of Ex as she unleashed the full extend of her powers... or so she tried to. It seemed that her last case of self-harm had taken a toll on her energy level. As such, when she filled the Oracle spheres with nullifying energy and sent flying into the Crimson Bubble, trying to nullify it, they were only at 50% power and as such, had a high chance of failing. |

| The spheres actually pass right through the bubble as if it's not there. The reason for this is because the bubble ISN'T really there; it's actually in the Etheral Dimmension and acts as a portal for Etheral Matter from that dimmension to appear in the bubble (wisps) and counter attacks. Since the bubble doesn't really exist in this Plane, it isn't affected by the Oracle spheres... however, small amounts of data can still be absorbed by the spheres. "Ex, are you okay? Emotionally, I mean. Aw, did you hear my prayer to Kyr'Shei?" She pauses, thinking. "That wasn't meant for you to hear. But it's okay... Ex, I revere you! I had... NO idea that you were half-Oracle! My friend Schwa has a small amount of Oracle energy infused into him, but that's different... With you, Oracle DNA actually flows through you! And I was so clueless to that... "It's a huge honor. You may not have met Kyr'Shei, the Oracle Lord, yet, have you? He's kind of like a God, but he's an Oracle God if at all... I promise he's looking out for you, even as we speak, and you have his eternal blessings too. Never forget! "Now, back to the battle... Ahem! Elegance Summoning!" (echo effects) Three etheral rings open up in the ground, and out of those rings, coming out of the ground as if through a portal, come three more bubbles with pastel-type hues. One is light red, one is sky blue, and one is a whitish-yellow. Each bubble looks made out of ether and each is surrounding some rotating geometric polygon. Immediately after being summoned, the spheres fly to Allaura and orbit her at a slow speed. "These oughta help. Now I can perform some new techniques!" OOC: Ugh... I really oughta write Allaura's profile. Adlibbing moves this often is a challenge. You? |

| It seemed as if Ex wasn't hearing what Allaura was saying. Ex *thinks* What am I thinking?!? Controlling these powers isn't a life or death question! Why did I... Luigi: "You're not ready to fight, period. Your desire to live your childhood is opposed by your... how can I call it? Oh yes... your program. In short, you have a split personality issue." Ex *thinks* It isn't that bad isn't it?... tell me it isn't bad... Luigi: "It's just that there's two of you. Your real self... and an uber serious copy that see everything as a life or death situation. That creepy speech you did sooner was your split personality's doing." Ex: "Err..." Ex stood there confused... and then noticed the bubbles. Ex: "OK... first I get a split personality complex for some weird reason and then what? This is getting out of hand... it's like that stupid nightmare I'm having every night... exept worse..." Obviously, Ex was back to her old self... but for how long? It seemed that each time Ex would be put in a battle situation, her alter-ego would awaken... may Ex like it or not. ...and since Allaura was preparing for an attack, it was only a matter of time before Ex's split personality rose again. |
