I have few questions:
Can I make category and forum's visible only for some users. I don't want make it visible only for admins etc. but for user what I select (For example I used members of this board: Visible for Sky Troopa , Peardian , HyperHacker , Fettster but not visible for example CE , FuSoYa , Shy Guy ...) ?

And can I make some users in some forum invisible? (Users can entry forum but won't be at bar: X user currently in X: X , Y , O - strikethrought user O won't be showed.) And this users won't be abble post or post thread.

It's possible, you'd have to use an if statement that calls specific user id's, and then shows a specific forum.

I've thought about doing something like this myself on my board.

I'll look into this ... probably a few things you'd have to edit in index.php, I doupt it's anything too complicated though.

You can however make a forum have no catid, then it wouldn't show up on the index, but just like "that" forum here, people can probably find it pretty easily.

Edit: It might be easier to just make a new 'powerlevel' like variable that's required for some forums.

I don't know, sorry for not really being much of help.

My guess:
Make a new filed in the "forum" table, that will be to determine if the forum is restricted or not.

Then make a new table that's going to be like the one that marks forums read (userid, forum). Then in index, make the code check if the forum is restricted, if it is: make a query that will select from the new table where the forum and userid = loguserid and forum id.

Anyway, that's theoric, I'll write actual code when I get home.
