I'm playing on ShadowRO and I'm an acolyte that is struggling to lvl. Right now I am spending my time in the orc dungeon healing zombies. The EXP i recieve is not satisfying. Here is a screenshot of my char and items: The server rates are 7/7/3 |

I forget where I usually leveled at around the time but it was some tower in the middle of a town. There was a basement that was full of shit to kill and I would be down there for hours getting my job level up to 40. Though, Acolyte is not the best thing to level up solo. You'd be better off partying. |

Clock Tower. It was such a good place to level up that eventually the tRO guys had to nerf it several times over to encourage people to, you know, not all crowd the place at once. |

CT is no longer a viable place to level with the latest SVN. Some moron decided to change up the monster spawns, and added Rideword to CT 1. With the latest SVN, Payon 1 becomes a good place to solo Acos. Skeletons, Zombies, Poporings, and Familiars. Payon 1 until you can healbomb for about 1,000 damage, then move on to Orcs. Be sure to bring a Sword Mace with you, for the random Familiar, and maybe Steel Chonchon. Don't even THINK about trying Drainliars until you have Kyrie at 10... That should get you through Aco-hood. When you change to Priest, come back to Orcs, and level up until you can get Sanctuary 5-ish, or Magnus Exorcismus, if you want to go that route. It casts like Storm Gust, in that you need a TON of Dex to be able to pull it off. If you plan to go with ME, make sure you have Kyrie and Safety Wall on before you start to cast ME... Once you get to the point I just mentioned, Glast Heim Church is a good place. Just watch out for Dark Lord and Hunter Fly, and the occasional Mimic. Teleport or Fly Wings (no delay while you choose to teleport to a random location) will be VERY helpful in dealing with those three. If you're going for an insta-build, and got Int to 99, and then started working on getting Dex to 99, it's quicker to healbomb the Skelton Prisoners, Zombie Prisoners, and Ghouls then it is to try to Sanct or ME them. By the time I go there, I can generally kill Ghouls in 3 healbombs, and both of the Prisoners in about 5 or 6. That's the best that I've personally found. You can't heal bomb Bathorys, and they have a high ASPD, so you tend to lose your Kyrie before you can do much to them. |

Official RO servers are pay-to-play. Private servers are usually (always?) free, but yes, you need to register with whatever server you're going to join. | |||
