Does anyone know where I can get information on this? I am trying to make a program that will read this, and I want to be able to edit it. | |||

depends on what you mean by rom header. usually, roms have a 512 byte header infront of the raw game data, that ones called a backup unit header. reading out this one is not very interesting usually. i assume you mean the game information sector that also contains the game name, checksum, country, maskrom size, sram size, add-on chips etc. why would you want to write a tool to read these out?there are already some available, like nsrt or insnest. and changing something in there is as easy as opening up the rom in your favorite hex editor. |

*smacks forehead* Thanks Mario Mario, my brain overheats at the simplest of things sometimes. I usually delete the snes header, so when I go to edit pointers, I don't have to bother subtracting the header in my calculations. (edited by Chickenlump on 04-01-04 11:47 PM) |

Just do a quick search in Google for "SNES Kart 1.6", and look in the "Embedded Cartridge Information" section for the layout. |
