| Uh... That doesn't look too good. Hey, I have no problem with it, but you may want to make that look a little nicer. Get someone on the Board to help you design a nice-looking layout... but I have no problem whatsoever with others using my pictures, so long as they give me credit. You'll be sure to find some layout-designing masters in Modern Art. |

| Eh...well, technically today's the deadline, though it hasn't been announced yet, so I can still make a bet. I just hope Schwa doesn't suddenly post before me while I write this. COMMENCE FIRST BET YEAH!!! 30 coins on the Hamma Resistance Force! You say all of the Koopa Kids have been taken out by similar bands of koopas, save for these two here...Koopa Kids must have some sort of disadvantage against them, eh? Plus, the Koopa Kids' defeat means the end of Bowser...and Schwa is one for plot and story. Think of how it could effect coming battles! Plus, the Koopa Kids are outnumbered, and it's foggy - with that Light Brother, I wouldn't want to be blinded in the fog. Indeed, 30 coins on the Hamma Resistance Force. |

| Oh my God! I am SO sorry! I screwed over and frickin' missed the deadline! I'm sorry... I don't have Internet at my house and I never got access until today. So, without further ado... I give you the 5th Battle, a special Boss Edition by yours truly. Heah ve go! Today is a dark day. An evil, dark, infernal day. For this is when the Koopa Empire collapses. They know the end is coming, and there is little to prevent it. Footsteps... sounds of slow footsteps, getting louder and louder... but there is nothing to see as the area is coated in a dreary fog. It must be an omen. "What do we do?" "Try our hardest, little bro." The last two fighters left in the war to defend Bowser's Castle, the very last two, whisper to each-other. They know they cannot prevent the inevitable. But they are warriors, and try their best they will. The fog begins to lift. Visible are four of the most dangerous Koopas in existance... one Hammer Bro. in the front, a Boomerang Bro. behind him. then a Wheel Bro. and a Lightbender Bro., two rare warriors, following. The four koopas stare coldly at the last of the Koopa Kids. The Hammer Bro. knows the revolt has been successfully won already. All that is left is to take care of these last two Koopa Kids, then Bowser himself, and the Koopa Empire will collapse. The Hammer Bro. smugly smirks at the sight of these two Koopa Kids. They have already lost, even they are aware of that... but they fight anyway. There is a very long pause. "Take a picture, it'll last longer," Iggy Koopa, the younger one of the Last of the Koopas, retorts. Ludwig, Iggy's older brother, puts a hand on Iggy's shoulder to hold him back. But the insulting remark has hit where it was supposed to. "Hamma Resistance... attack." The Hammer Bro. whips a hammer out, the Boomerang Bro. whips a Boomerang out, the Wheel Bro. wields a metal wheel and the Lightbender Bro. holds his plams facing each-other as sparks begin to build between them. The Koopa Kids tense, and bring out their weapons-- magic wands. "Let's do this!" Iggy exclaims. "For glory!" Ludwig adds. "HAH!" ...at the same time, as they thrust the wands in a forward motion. Iggy's Wand fires the classic bolt of a Magikoopa, and Ludwig's wand releases three energy rings. Both projectiles fly at the Hammer Bro. The Hammer Bro. sidesteps, taking a small hit, but he doesn't flinch as he throws his Hammer, the Boomerang Bro. throws a fast-moving Boomerang, and the Wheel Bro. leaps up and throws the wheel at the ground. The first projectile misses when Iggy and Ludwig move to the left and right respectively, but the Boomerang's curve pattern causes it to nick Ludwig in the arm on it's way back to the thrower. The Wheel speeds up when it hits the ground, and it nearly hits Iggy, but he leaps high in the air, firing two more blasts from there at the group of revolters in general. The group scatters, and keeps throwing Hammers, Boomerangs and Wheels at whoever is closer. The Lightbender Bro. is charging a sphere of light in front of him, preparing to do something with it. "Iggy, stop the guy in the back!" Ludwig calls. Iggy, who has been dodging nearly all things thrown his way, skips sideways to get around the group and close in on Lightbender. But a Wheel is on a collission course with him when he's nearly there, and he is thrown backward. Meanwhile, Ludwig has been firing his Wand blasts at the Hammer Bro. the whole time, hitting him a few times. But the shots are easy to dodge, so he says, "Heck with it. I'm taking out the BIG guns." He switches his Wand for a small bazooka, known as the Bill Bazooka. That's when Iggy is thrown back by the wheel. Ludwig doesn't notice what Iggy's doing, but instead he fires a Bullet Bill into the crowd. The giant explosive spirals toward them, leaving black smoke behind... "Scatter, now!" the Hammer Bro. calls to his warriors, and they scatter as the Bill explodes where they once stood. When the smoke clears, Lightbender has finished charging his sphere... it's HUGE. He walks toward Ludwig, fire burning in his gaze. Ludwig fires another Bill, aimed at the Lightbender, but a laser flies out of the sphere, strikes the Bill, destroys it, and bounces to Ludwig. The beam strikes him in the head, and he falls to a kneel. He's not terribly injured, but the beam does cause pain. Lightbender laughs as the Hammer, Boomerang and Wheel Bro. approach and each fire their signature projectile at the stunned Ludwig. The Hammer nails him in the shell, the Boomerang swoops around and cuts his leg a bit, and the Wheel sends him flying. That's when Iggy leaps at Lightbender with some kind of quarterstaff, called the Staff of Iggy, twirls it, and strikes the unsuspecting Lightbender Bro. in the head, knocking him down and destroying the sphere. The Lightbender Bro. doesn't have any time to get up before Iggy performs a three-hit combo by twirling the staff in switching directions. While Iggy fights the Lightbender Bro., Ludwig takes on the other 3 Bros. at the same time, him and his Bill Bazooka. "You pack wolves won't have the best of me..." Ludwig says wearily. He's still got some HP left, but the sudden barrage of attacks wore him down quite a bit. Ludwig fires a Bombshell Bill, a gold Bullet Bill, at the ground in front of the Hammer and Boomerang Bros. They back up a few steps, thinking the blast will miss them by a few feet, but when a Bombshell Bill goes off the blast is HUGE! The two fighters are engulfed by the blast and damaged considerably. The Wheel Bro. rolls another wheel at Ludwig from behind, but this time Ludwig leaps over it, sensing it out of the corner of his eye, turns around and fires straight into him. But it's not a Bullet Bill that comes out... it's a Spiny Egg! The spiked projectile slams into the Wheel Bro., but he isn't hurt too badly. "I may be a pack wolf, but I'm steadfast. Have a bite," the Wheel Bro. taunts, rolling TWO wheels at Ludwig, one a bit to the left and one a bit right. Ludwig tries dodging to the left but runs right into the wheel, sending him backward again. Iggy is having lots of luck whacking the Lightbender Bro. mercilessly with the Staff of Iggy like a ninja... that is, until the Bro. releases a pulse of light brighter than the sun right in Iggy's eyes, blinding him for a while. Iggy drops the staff and clutches his face as the Lightbender begins charging up another sphere. By now he's at minimal vitality. The Boomerang Bro. sees one of his comrades in low health, and goes to help him. Standing his distance, he throws a tricky Boomerang that'll cut Iggy's left side, then his right on the way back, if Iggy stays still. He does, being blinded, and the Boomerang cuts him twice. The Hammer Bro. lands a hammer right on Ludwig's belly when he's on the ground, severely damaging him. But he gets up again and fires at the ground around the Hammer Bro. and the Wheel Bro. A sludge bomb flies out and coats the ground around those two fighters in brown, paintlike sludge "Well, I didn't know it could do that. Wow." Ludwig's smarmy comment makes the Hammer Bro. mad, but he can't attack because he slips in the goo and falls face-first. He tries to get up but the goo is constricting his movements. The Wheel Bro. launches one wheel at Ludwig and another at the blinded Iggy. Things aren't good for Iggy as the wheel knocks him on his back, and Lightbender finishes charging the sphere again, firing a beam directly into Iggy. He falls to minimal vitality... ...activating the 1UP mushroom, which brings him back to medium health. "Ludwig, I can't handle this guy!" "Right on it, bro." "Not so fast!" The Wheel Bro. tries to stop him with a wheel, but Ludwig blasts a Bob-Omb at it with the Bill Bazooka and stops it's movement. At the same time, Ludwig pockets the Bazooka and takes out the Wand again. He reaches Iggy, who's no longer blind or on his back. The Lightbender fires another beam at the two of them, but this time Iggy blocks it with his staff. Ludwig fires a wand-blast at it, at point-blank range, and the Lightbender is KO'd. They give each-other a high-five... forgetting about the Wheel and Boomerang Bro, which both fire their signature projectiles, and furthermore the Boomerang is on it's tricky 2-hit course again. The Wheel knocks Iggy on his back, and the Boomerang cuts Ludwig twice, one on each side. Ludwig turns around and fires a wand blast at the Wheel Bro., who's not quick enough to dodge and takes a hit. He looks in pain, but keeps the assult up with two more wheels. Ludwig just manages to fire again before one of the wheels knocks him down. The blast nails the Wheel Bro. as well, almost KOing it, but at the same time Iggy gets up. The Boomerang Bro. is ready for him, though, and throws his tricky shot again. Iggy, with minimal vitality, leaps out of the way and throws a new weapon-- the Red Sphere, down at the two of them. The sphere bounces along the ground and hits the Booerang Bro., injuring him. The Hammer Bro. is continually being damaged by the sludge, and by the time he finally gets out he is at minimnal vitality. He manages to throw a Hammer into the air at the leaping Iggy, though, intercepting him and KOing him. Ludwig gets up and, breathing hard, fires a barrage of wand-blasts at all 3 remaining fighters. This does many things; first it KO's the Hammer Bro. and the Wheel Bro. at the same time, second it overheats the Wand and blows it up. The explosion hurts Ludwig and brings him to minimal vitality, just like the Boomerang Bro. They stare at each-other for a long time. "You've lost, Ludwig," the Bro. says to the Koopa Kid. "I know. But it was a good fight. Have at you!" Ludwig brings out the Bazooka, leaps up, and fires a Bullet Bill (the only type of ammo he has left) at the Bro. The Bro. tries to leap out of the way, and does, but he trips. While he's down, Ludwig fires again and the Bill nails him dead-on, KOing the Bro. The winner of this battle is Last of the Koopas. Ludwig can hardly believe his good fortune, but the feeling only lasts a moment... as the rest of the revolters arrive. The entire revolt army had been waiting in the fog the whole time for one side to fall. They have seen the whole thing. Hundreds of Koopa Troopas, Hammer Bros. of all variations, and Lakitus, steadily move toward Bowser's Castle. Ludwig watches the horde move, knowing that even though he won the battle, he has indeed lost the war. They all move toward Bowser's Castle, and right when they've almost reached the outer wall... "Wah-HAH!" "Ee-hehehehe!" "Yahoo!" "Hah!" Four lone warriors make themselves visible. In the fog, at first all that can be seen is their silouhettes. But the fog seems to lift and the sun to come out revealing... Super Mario, Wario, Luigi and most unexpectedly, Bowser Jr., standing atop the outer wall, staring at the army. The army stops their advance at once, and stares horrified at what the arrival of these four heroes could possibly mean. Then, Mario leaps off the wall, holding a Power Star on his way down. The Star glows and disappears as Mario begins flashing and shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow. Next, Wario leaps off the wall as he whips out a shiny black Star, a Ztar, holds it up and absorbs it's power as well, surrounding Wario in a powerful red aura. Then Luigi leaps off the wall, as he holds the small figurine of a Hammer Bro. in his hand, which diappears in a puff of smoke as Luigi gains the powers of an elite Hammer Bro. and a suit with a hard shell. And finally, Bowser Jr. leaps off the wall, holding a huge paintbrush with a rainbow-colored tip, swinging it in front of him like the great Zorro and painting light-images in midair. Ludwig watches in awe the entire time. As soon as the four warriors land on the ground in their new forms, the entire army runs away, screaming. The four strangers follow for a distance and stop, look at each-other and give high-fives. Mario then pulls a tiny green cube from his overall pockets, and throws it on the ground, as a Warp Pipe appears. One by one, the warriors jump into the Warp Pipe, then it disappears behind them. The injured Ludwig Koopa stares at the place Mario and company vanished to, and finally, decides to head back into Bowser's Castle. The Koopa Empire is safe, by a miracle. EPILOUGE: "Thanks, Mario... (Geez, I really thought I'd never have to say that to you...)" "No problem-o, Bowser Jr. After all, what would-a the Mushroom Kingdom be like without Bowser? That would be like, spaghetti without the parmeshan cheese! Mama-mia!" "Yeah, and he's my dad... Don't forget..." "Wah-hahahaha!" "Um, right. Well, I'm going now." "To where?" "Probably off to pollute another island for you to clean up." Bowser Jr. heads for the castle exit. "Bowser Jr.!" He slowly turns around. "What?" "...You-a serious?" "...Maybe." And he heads out of the castle. Mario and his allies teamed up with Bowser Jr. at the climax of the war, deciding that the Mario World would never be the same without Bowser. And they pulled off the victory. Ludwig was also never the same. He still fought Mario time to time, but with a newfound respect never before seen in this Koopa Kid. Nobody really knew why, still to this day. THE END Not bad? I tried to make it dramatic. Anyway, Koopa Kids win. Here are the betting results. Coin Count: LizardKing + 30 APH Striker + 60 MarioMaster + 95 marionuthead + 10 Xeodious + 10 dragon master + 60 Fettster + 20 Chill Penguin + 30 Yoshi Dude + 10 ---------------- Roy = EVEN Baby Bowser = EVEN AmIBored = EVEN ---------------- Tamarin Canalis - 20 Peardian - 5 Shadic - 50 Kamek77 - 30 RYjet911 - 50 Darkflight - 20 Fettster - 15 CheesePie - 30 Raccoon_86 - 10 Shadow - 30 Koneko - 20 fabio - 5 Battle #06:  West side: Desert Crackers -Yellow Koopa Troopa -Red Koopa Troopa -Baseball Boy (Striker) (leader) -Dino Torch -Dino Torch Both Koopa Troopas have the same stats; average Attack, above average Defense, average HP and below average Speed. They are pretty well balanced. However, the Yellow Troopa has a ground-pound attack as well as a power-slide, the Red Troopa has a fire shell-slide maneuver and he NEVER falls off ledges unless he tries to, so he can't fall into the pool unless thrown into the center. The Baseball Boy has a high Attack, below average Defense, above average HP and average Speed. He attacks with his close-range Baseball Bat, but his main attack is actually batting other things at his foes. He can bat the Koopa Troopas at the foe at a high speed for a nifty Team Attack; he could also bat the Dino Torches, but two bats per Dino Torch would KO the poor creatures. Dino Torches are weak foes, with below average Attack, low Defense, average Speed and below average HP. They are pretty much wimps, but they can breathe clouds of hot fire to protect themselves and their teammates. East side: Live Wire -Kuribo's Shoe (Muchacho, leader) -Flourecent Ninji -Flourecent Spiny -Li'l Sparky The Kuribo's Shoe is a Goomba in a wind-up shoe, with above avverage Attack, high Defense, above average HP and high Speed, plus the ability to walk on any damaging terrain but not water. It's stats may be high, but it doesn't have any attacks except for stomping on the foe, and if the Shoe is hit the wrong way the Goomba will fall out. Flourecent Ninjis have above average Attack, low Defense, average HP and high Speed. They can jump high and spin at fast speeds, and they attack with electricity. Flourecent Spinys have high Attack, average Defense, average HP and above average Speed. They also spin at high speeds and attack with electricity. The Li'l Sparky has an average Attack, low Defense, low HP and very high Speed. Only a few hits from anything can KO it, but any physical damage it recieves will be returned to the attacker at twice power. It uses non-ranged electric and plasma attacks. All 3 electricity-using fighters on this team have different types of electric attacks. This team has with them two Mushrooms, which restore HP to the user and make the user bigger for a small while. What to keep in mind: The Goomba of Live Wire is a famous bandit known around the desert outposts and towns, simply known as Muchacho. The electric-using fighetrs that follow him are his lackeys, who are better in battle than Muchacho but not quite the tactical mastermind. Muchacho is an expert at escaping and controlling the situation, a tactical genius if you will. His comrades admire him for his fox-like cunningness, and they take orders from nobody but him. Desert Crackers are a team of rouges travelling through the desert, and they find an oaisis with pure, cool water. They drink the water, eat the fruit, and spend the night. The next morning, Live Wire is waiting for them about 20 feet from the oaisis. There is a small conflict that ends in battle. Live Wire must win at all costs, for if they don't, Muchacho will be turned in to the sherrif in the outpost a mile away, ending his reign, courtesy of Desert Crackers' leader, the Baseball Boy. If Live Wire wins, they will be able to escape. Desert Crackers is by an oaisis filled with Trouter. The Trouter are very special fish, because although they're not too bright, they don't pollute the water and they can't feel pain. The Baseball Boy takes advantage of this in battle by power-smashing the Trouters into the unsuspecting foes of Live Wire, full blast, when they jump out of the water. This attack is more powerful than any of Desert Crackers' other moves, but the timing must be 110% perfect. That's their advantage; Live Wire's advantage is their two Mushrooms. Correct bets for this battle are worth double the coins. Notices: - I have NOT finished writing this battle. It will be a while until I get around to finishing it, and until then I will not be around to tally the bets. (I refuse to see the bets until my fight results are complete, that way it won't seem biased.) That would be the only reason that it may seem like I have been avoiding this thread. | It looks to me as if Desert Crackers will win. Using the Dinotorches as shields and the koopas attacks for some offense, that is all the team would really need. Adding a baseball boy in, he has a bat and swings fast, so I my vote is definitly for Desert Crackers. | |||

| 5 coins on the Live Wire team. They have two mushrooms that have 2 effects and are well prepared unlike the Desert Crackers. that and the Dino Torches can be KO'ed easily is why I have my vote on Live Wire.
