| I vote procupower. since you said they have moves other than the VG ones, the porcus could jump the blocks, one of them eat the mushroom, than attack the beetles when they are defenceless by pirecing their shells. | |||

| I doubt that the Porcupos' spines are strong enough to penetrate the shell, but then again they are susceptible to fire... so it might work. | |||

| The fight starts... right now. Sit tight everybody, here we go! Midday... a small breeze blowing across the plains of World 1 of the Mushroom Kingdom. Not a creature is in sight, nor noise for that matter, except the faint blowing sound of the wind in the grass. But then... movement is detectable. Two parties of travellers, on either end of the plains, move slowly yet steadily toward each-other. To the west, it appears to be three purple puff-balls close together... At a close enough distance, cute feet and eyes, along with the face of a shy hedgehog, can be made out. They're Porcupos; spiked, purple animals of Subcon. The three Porcupos form the alliance known as Porcu-Power. To the east, moving at a slightly faster rate, are three blue-shelled, turtle-like beetles. They are very small, maybe only two feet high, but they walk easily on their hind feet and their bodies are hunched low. Buster Beetles, these things are, feisty by nature and skilled at war. The three of them form the Buster Bros., and they always travel together. The two travelling parties reach each-other at last. For a while, silence... as they stare at each-other. The Buster Bros. have three White Blocks with them, and they're confident that each one can take out one Porcupo should this encounter end in battle. Porcu-Power, on the other hand, have a Mushroom with them which will restore vital health to one of their kind as well as super-size that one. Porcu-Power has confidence in themselves. One of the Buster Bros. steps forward. "Are you going to move out fo our way?" Porcu-Power takes a moment to think amongst themselves. Huddled together, they chat about the situation. "They seem agressive. What do we do?" "See if we can negotiate with them. We don't want to end this standoff in violence." "We have a Mushroom..." "For emergencies only. You know our code of honor, 'Battle is a last resort.' "But we have a mushroom!" "Forget the mushroom! It's only for--" They are interrupted. One of the Buster Bros. had picked up a White Block, leaped into the air about 3 feet, and slam-dunked the Block at the huddled group! "Stop your chatting! It's annoying!" The block slams into the center of the porcupos, exploding and inflicting minor pain on all members of Porcu-Power. "OUCH!" they all say at once. They turn back around, angry. One of them steps forward. "Battle it is. Here comes!" The Porcupo curls into a sharp, spiny ball and rolls into the nearest Buster Bro.! He hit the foe in the head, inflicting good damage and totally flipping that Beetle on his back! The other Beetles waste no time. Lowering their heads, they ram the fighting Porcupo with the edges of their hard shells, knocking their foe backward. The other two members of Porcu-Power strategize. "Mushroom?" "Yes, we can use it to supersize our fighting comrade." "Let's do it!" They are overheard by the two Buster Bros. who are fighting. "Quick, let's stop 'em!" One of the Bros. grabs a second White Block, leaps 5 feet into the air above the two strategizing members of Porcu-Power, and chucks it downward, slamming one of the Porcupos with amazing force-- such force that the attacked Porcupo becomes stunned for a while! "Aaah!" "Okay, I'll use the 'Shroom on you then." The third Porcupo, the only one left not fighting, shoves the Mushroom into his stunned comrade. Instantly the comrade is no longer stunned, but he's very BIG; in fact he's doubled in size! Meanwhile, the 1st Buster Bro. has managed to flip himself back upright, and he's duking it out with Porcupo #1, who keeps rolling into a spiky ball and ramming into the Beetle. Though the Bro. keeps ducking into his shell, his stamina is slowly being whittled away. "Oof! ...I'm not sure how much more of this I can take..." He gets his answer when the BIG Porcupo suddenly runs up, leaps, does a half-flip and pounds into the Beetle with his back, spines first. The spines pierce the shell and KO the Beetle for good. The other two Beetles, who have been ramming Porcupo #3 mercilessly (which is taking it's toll on the poor purple creature), notice this turn of events. "NO!" "No way..." *both together* "You'll PAY for this!" The huge Porcupo simply laughs. "Oh really?" And it charges! But the two Buster Bros. are ready. They ram it back, with their shell closed over their head. All 3 attackers fly backward, and one of the Buster Bros. lands upside-down. "Can't... move..." "I'll help you! (Things are getting desperate...)" He pushes aagainst his flipped comrade, and manages to flip him upright... moments before Porcupos #1 and #2 slam into him, curled up in a ball. He goes flying. Things are lookig bad for the Buster Bros., but they notice they still have one White Block left. "This had better work..." they both say at once. All 3 members of Porcu-Power charge at the same time. The two Buster Bros. leap to the White Block. Bro. #1 leaps into the air, while Bro. #2 kicks the White Block straight upward. Bro. #1 then does a backflip-kick and launches the Block at the huge Porcupo as if it were shot out of a pressure cannon! The Block smashes gracefully into the huge Porcupo, who flies back and lands right on one of his comrades. Moments later he shrinks back to normal size, rolls across the ground and lands on his side with minimal vitality. The squashed Porcupo has been KO'd. "Yes!" the Bros. cheer to themselves. But the battle isn't over yet. The last healthy Porcupo runs at them to finish them off, but the two Buster Bros. run right past him towards the injured one. They run from the left and the right and squash the Porcupo from both sides, KO'ing it as well. The last member of Porcu-Power stares in disbelief. "No! My... comrades! You'll PAY!" Screaming, it curls into a ball and bounces way up in the air, trying to come down upon one of the Buster Bros. at the speed of a cannonball. It's moving fast enough to pierce the shells of the Beetles if it hits. But the Bros. simply laugh. "Ha, we've figured out your weaknesses by now." Using all their remianing strength, the two Beetles agiley leap away from the spiked comet, as the Porcupo smashes into the ground and it's spines cause it to stick. It uncurls, immobile and belly faced-up. "Don't hurt me, PLEASE!" The Bros. charge. "You shouldn't have fought us from the start!" One after the other, each Buster Bro. leaps up, flips around in midair and slams the undefended underbelly in a deadly ground-pound maneuver. After both hit, the Porcupo stops moving. It has been KO'd. All three members of Porcu-Power lie unconscious in this once peaceful field. The field will be scarred forever with the stains of war. The Buster Bros. are the victors. Carrying their unconscious comrade with them, they continue on their way as if nothing happened. After all, not much did... Buster Beetles are warriors, and this fight was all in a days work. Sleep tight, Porcu-Power... you will get your revenge someday... And that's it! The Buster Bros. win. Like I said, I had the battle written moments after I posted this thread, so it wasn't biased on anyone's vote... Results: Cheveyo +10 ---------------- RYjet911 -50 Peardian -10 Darkflight -30 Second battle!  West Side: Meteor Shower -Snifit Ostro Rider -Snifit -Snifit -Red Snifit Snifits have a decent Attack Power, low Defense, medium Stamina and medium Speed, but they can attack rapidly. The Ostro can take a lot of punishment, but the Snifit Rider may fall off if attacked. If the Ostro has no rider, it will go beserk. The Red Snifit has a much higher Attack Power and Speed, and it uses fire attacks. All Snifits are known for their excellent teamwork. They have only one item with them; it's a Hammer, which can be thrown at one of their foes for good damage. East Side: Steel-throwin' Party -Spike -Rocky Wrench -Rocky Wrench -Rocky Wrench Rocky Wrenches have decent Attack Power, good Defense but bad Speed and Stamina. They can't move out of their porthole, but they can quickly come out, chuck a Wrench, and hide again. Almost nothing can hurt them while they're inside the porthole, but some things may be able to flush them out. The Spike has a GREAT Attack Power, a pretty good Stamina, low Defense and medium Speed. The Spike is quite strong given just it's regular spikeball-throwing attack, but it also specializes in amazing maneuvers as well, such as defense-piercing and disabling attacks. This team has 2 items, a Rusty Mushroom and a Pow Block. The Shroom will turn the user into an invincible statue for a small while, while the Pow Block causes an earth tremor which hits ALL fighters on the ground. What to keep in mind: The battlefield is a small ship called the Pixel IV. It's a very small ship model, known for carrying cargo very quickly. Steel-throwin' Party has been assigned to guard the ship from anyone who may try to board it... especially Mario. Halfway to their destination on the other side of the world, Meteor Shower boards the ship in an effort to steal it. Steel-throwin' Party, being assigned to guard it, now must fight Meteor Shower to protect their ship. There is a Hammer Bro. piloting the ship inside, and the pilot, of course, has nothing to do with the main battle. It may be important later on, though, so it's vital you know that detail. | Steel Throwin' Party has my vote. Not only are they throwing steel at the opponents but the POW block will do a lot of damage. Meteor Shower is only one hammer while the Steel Throwin' Party has unlimited wrenches. | |||
