The application should be in the following form:
Local Moderator application

Sex: (and if you put yes please here, you'll get disqualified)
Area of expertice:

Highest Obtained power level:
Forum(s) to Moderate and why :

Recommendations: (you need one vote from me or Acmlm, and one of the current admin staff to even apply)

Reasons you think you will be a good admin, what you plan to accomplish as an admin. This must be AT LEAST 4 paragraphs (10 sentences to a paragraph) Yes this is a lot. but this is a JOB not a STATUS symbol.

NOTICE: This is not a guarrentee of admission. Acmlm and Emuz have the right to deny or accept anybody over anyone else for whatever reason.

Any non relevent threads or 'jibber-jabber' will disquallifiy you and possibly lead to adminstrative action. One application per person. This means don't post in other threads for other positions. Go for the Position you want to get. Admin positions will be under tight scrutenty and as such will allow you to apply for one other job, but any pointless applications to admin thread will be a cause for disqyalification.

Good Luck...

Forum(s) to Moderate and why: Super Mario Series
1. I've been playing Mario games for a long time, and I'm also quite skilled. I know much about the series, too.
2. There has been a large amount of bumping recently, and I am somewhat skilled at determining if those bumped threads should be closed or not.
3. Well, there isn't a 3.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why : Craziness Domain
1. It's the place I visit most, and I love viewing all of the great threads in there
2. I've been a member of Acmlm's board since August 2002. I'll know if people are attacking others, or just spamming crap like Numa Numa dance over and over.
3. I know some members from a distance, and I can point out which ones are likely to abuse the craziness domain. I'd keep a close eye on their threads.

Skills: Well, I do management very well. I have managed at a total of four boards. I think I do the best of my ability to mod forums. I dont slack like some. I show myself to be a leader and not a follower. I help members with their board if need be. I use correct punctuation in every post and it inprooves everyday.

Highest obtained powerlevel: Owner, Administrator, good quality member.

Forum(s) to moderate and why: Acmlmboard Programming, General Chat or Newbie Forum.

Reasons why I think I would be good on staff: Well, considering I make 'hacks' or known as 'plugins'. I have a dev team that makes added features for Acmlmboards. I help people with their Acmlmboards, and I also have the most total posts in Acmlmboard Programming out of all the forums I post in. I have every Acmlmboard ever made with the exception of 0.7.

I am starting a development team back up to release 'plugins' for members boards. I do plan on doing as much as possible to help out the members of this community. I already have helped several members with their board as it is. I have been a member for a long time. I dont judge people and show fairness for everyone. I can easily forgive someone. I have experience with moderating as I mod my board and I mod Vizzedboard. I was staff on other boards before. (TEK Hacks, Network Chaos, and Xeogaming.)

I also go to ITT-Technical Institute part time while I am in high school and I earn college credit for the classes of Networking and operating systems and Linux operating systems. I am online everyday for 6+ hours. If chosen for staff of Newbie forum I can promise to welcome every member to Acmlms and show them how they should act in this commnunity and be a influence on them. I would help bring the new Acmlmers to the stage of novice members.

To the other members running: I wish the best of luck to you. (In all honesty) And I hope you would wish the same upon everyone else and do plan on sticking around no matter if you make staff or not. I just hope that this staff placement works and bring Acmlms to its old climax.

A final note: I will not mind not being a moderator. Im just hoping for the best of the Acmlm community.

Area of expertice: Hm? Game Design (not rom hacking), gaming, anime, [somewhat] programming.

Skills: Comprehension and common sense. Good understanding. Friendly. Usually know what I'm talking about (providing facts, etc). Some programming.

Highest Obtained Powerlevel: Well, for here, Normal user. But if we're counting 'everywhere', then I can say just about everything. I run my own board, I've been Local Mod's at multiple boards before, promoted to Full Mod on multiple boards before, sometimes I was a "co-board owner", being an administrator. Now, I've pretty much dropped all my moderating at other places besides my board. I used to post a lot more than I used to and at quite a few boards, but now I've pretty much settled down for here, and my board. (Boards I've moderated at in the past: VIzzed, TEK Hacks, Anti-Reality, Devils Oracle, X-Realms, Anime-US, and maybe a few more. These were all Acmlmboard's too)

Forum(s) to Moderate and why:
1. General Gaming - I'm a gamer. I've been gaming since before I could even walk. I know what I talk about when it comes to games, and I keep up with what's New in the business and such. And obviously it's my favorite forum here.
2. Anime Forum - Again, one of my favorite past times. And just taking a look down the forum, you'll see I'm quite active in it and I know what I'm talking about. And currently, this forum contains no moderator.

Recommendations: Ziffski, Emptyeye, Grey, Kyouji Craw, NSNick, Davideo7, DarkSlaya, VGFreak877, Randy53215.

453 days ago, is how long I've been here basically. So, I'm not exactly a newbie when it comes to this place. I'm kind of a quieter person though, truthfully I don't know a lot of people here other than a handful or two. Those people I do know, I'd consider to be 'friends of the board' and 'cool' people.

If I were made staff, I can assure you I'd absolutely do my best, like I always and will always do here. This is a good and fun board, and usually the first website I visit upon logging unto the net. The community is great, it has it's hardships, but this place usually seems to get through things and keep on going stronger than ever.

If I were made staff, I'd do my best of what I can to moderate the forum(s) I could be put over to the best of my ability. I'd ensure that there is no spam allowed, the rules are laid out and that the members of the board will follow them. I know the usual warning system and I'd take it to that step if I have to.

If members needed help, I'd help them. I even do now just as a regular person. I don't flame somebody, just because he might not know what [something] is, rather I help that person, and or lead him/her into the direction that would help him/her.

Also, on all of the boards that I've been on that I have become a part of staff with, I've always been completely involved and aware of what goes on regarding staff discussions. And, I'd always bring up issues, and concerns, or maybe just possible suggestions that would be possibly better for the board or something, whenever I had them.

On a final note: I completely understand, and usually will tell this to others: Being staff is a privelage, and not a need to your own personal gratification.

Name: Philippe Galarneau (Phil for short, best known as DarkSlaya)
Age: 19
Sex: *checks yes..... just kidding* Female[ ] Male[x] Yes[ ]
Area of expertice: Programmed, co-owned some website, currently on staff on about 3 boards.
Skills: Programming, know when to stop (jokes, etc). (Guess I can't talk about skills, more like "easiness to do stuff", but not skill).
Highest Obtained power level: Here, that'd be normal member. But I've been admin at various places, and used to co-own websites (as stated before).
Forum(s) to Moderate and why : Acmlmboard Programming (oh..... currently two people asking for the same forum.... *raises combat abilities*)

Recommendations: Xeogred, Kyouji Craw (Still recommend me, damnit. (Okay, let's say "pending", I'll get to this, after this.))

Now, the important part. That's were I'm supposed to say: "Pick me, as I'm the best suited person for the job".

What I want to do is moderate Acmlmboard Programming (obviously, because it's stated above, but hey, gotta start by writing something, right?). I believe some questions are asked too often, and clear answer should be given... Also, I don't think Full Moderators and Admins, touch this forum in great number. I also wish to help people with Acmlmboards (I've been throught alot with Acmlmboard, especially with going throught the hell of upgrading an Unofficial version to an Official version). I also know what I need to know about the codebase of each version of Acmlmboards (Currently have every "offical" version, and the most well known unoffical version (Acmlmboard + Erk v1.45). I've made some modifications to each of them (0.7 is an exception, however).

More "technical" stuff (quotation marks are there for a reason): I've been using PHP for quite a while now, and know how to find about different functions when I need to. I also made a board from scratch (1/4 done, this is purely for proving skills). I've been learning PHP for 2 years now, and web creation for as long as I've been on the internet (5 years).

During the last few weeks (or months), I've been asked quite a few questions about Acmlmboards, and I believe I gave answers that were (at least, I hope) what the person was looking for (or at least, something that could help them).
Side-note: I always take the time to test everything on my local server, too.

On to the "So, you've got the skills, but what about requirements for the boards?". Because with skills, you also need to follow some standart, follow the rules, that kind of stuff. Since the one year I've been here (okay, minus 1-2 weeks), I've pretty much never broke the rules to the point of being warned by a moderator (okay, only once, and that when I first joined.) I also have my own opinion about stuff (I believe this is important for when staff has to take decisions). ANd I believe my grammar isn't bad, and my sentences aren't that hard to read either. I know the rules, I know their limits, I know when a thread is spam, when it needs to be closed. Alot of things about me are to improve, I'm aware of that, but I think I've improved alot since I came here.

Activity (seems like an important factor): As you can see by my post count (see, it can be usefull ), I can be pretty much active. Also, I'm here at least 2-4 hours a day, unless I'm incredibly busy. As you can see, my lack of things to do (or should I say lack of life?), can be a good thing if I were to become a moderator (I doubt I will, but hey, I take whatever chance I get, right?). Also, on a side note, I have about 1/10th (1/15th, you get the point) of Acmlmboard programming posts.

I guess there isn't nothing more about me that could probably have anything to do with having a moderator spot, so just take this small chunck of text as a conclusion to my Application.

Name: Eric Bannon (HyperHacker)
Age: 17
Sex: Male
Skills: Programming, ROM hacking, computer repair, damn good grammar
Highest level: Local mod
Forums:
-Hardware/Software; I'm experienced in several aspects of computer design, hardware and software, and programming.
-Super Mario World Hacking; I know how to use Lunar Magic and other related utilites rather well, and what kind of things can and can't be done, without answering everything with 'use ASM'. Newbies often look to me for help with the game.

Recommendations: Kasumi-Astra, Darkflight, BMF54123, Kitten Yiffer
Reasons:
I usually make a point of checking the board every day, or at least every two days. At minimum, I make sure to check HW/SW, SMW and the staff forums. I know how to do things and how not to do them, and am always willing to discuss any disagreement with my decisions. I always ensure that any crucial evidence (such as posts, private messages, etc) to an offense is left intact. Security is one of my main concerns; whenever I see a suspicious-looking thread I view its source code before actually opening it to ensure no malicious scripts will be triggered. I often look for exploits, testing them on other peoples' boards where I have permission to do so and reporting any findings in the staff forums. Any suspicious activity is immediately archived in screenshots and/or copies of the page. I also make sure to keep my browser up-to-date to prevent such exploits from working whenever possible. When a problem arises I do everything in my power to help, and if I can't, contact someone who can. In November 2004 I single-handedly categorized several bugs and potential security flaws, many of which I discovered myself, which prompted almost immediate repair by Jesper and other admins.

I have AIM open anywhere from 3 to 8 hours almost every day (none of that private list crap) and notification within 2 minutes of recieving an e-mail, so contacting me is usually no problem. All contact info can be found in my profile. I make sure to respond ASAP so that if nothing else, you at least know I got your message. I also check private messages regularly. While I do like to have fun with people, I take my work very seriously. I've been a moderator and/or admin at several forums and websites and have always been a respected member of the community. I have several years experience moderating many types of communities, from small unfriendly groups of a few people to large and active boards like this one. People are often impressed with my initiative and ability to solve problems. I always ensure my areas of jurisdiction are kept neat and tidy and that its users are satisified as much as possible. Spam is not tolerated.

When it comes to computers, I definetely know my way around. I personally have designed several software applications for everything from ROM hacking to opening the CD drive, repaired and upgraded several computers of various ages, and done things to the school networks that left the technicians scratching their heads. If something's not working right chances are I can fix it. I also do some hobbyist electronic work. I have several years of experience in HTML, Javascript, Visual Basic, C, and Assembly and some knowledge of PHP. People often ask me about their computer problems and rarely leave disappointed. I've even fixed bugs in some Nintendo games that the original programmers overlooked. I tend to think like a computer myself. My typing speed and ability to understand computers amazes most people. Not to mention, I've written Game Boy programs using nothing but a Game Boy, pen and paper.

I also have much experience in the field of Super Mario World hacking. I have developed several custom ASM modifications for the game. I am very familliar with the various hacking utilities available, and know what the SNES/LM can and can't do. When someone asks about something that can't be done, I make a point of explaining exactly what the problem is rather than simply flaming them for not knowing. I routinely organize and categorize various hacking information, frequently asked questions, and useful hints into threads for easy access. When someone asks a question about Lunar Magic, I make absolutely sure of the answer by checking it out myself. I have also released a number of utilities such as a sprite editor and memory address list maker. I often comment on peoples' hacks, pointing out what good and bad things their screenshots display. When someone posts an incorrect link or a bad image, chances are I'll fix it. I can even host peoples' files myself when the need arises. And perhaps most importantly, it takes more than flashy graphics and Super Mario 3 music for me to consider a hack good.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why :

Anya's and Christi's. Because its the only place I want to look after now (save for maybe a few other areas). Especially now that I'm a bit busy, I'd figure I'll take it easy and mod only one small area on the board. An area that was once pretty much dead until I came around and played with it for a while. Shame that Fem isn't still around. Anyway, I think I've been doing a good job thus far with that small area and I would like to keep it up for as long as I can, hopefully bringing in more activity there. Besides, I can still help with advice and all that jazz as well.

Lost Threads: I'm serious about this, BTW. Only a few of us go there, but sometimes it tends to need an eye or two.

Highest Obtained power level: Local Moderator, Modern Art (current). Elsewhere, "Head Administrator" FFVII Citadel
Forum(s) to Moderate and why :

Modern Art: Because I have an interest in art that has seen me as a regular participant in this forum for a long time. I have moderated this forum before, and I am happy to assist other participants by offering critiques and assistance.

Hardware/Software: Again, I have an interest in this and I currently work in the IT industry. I enjoy helping out users in this forum, and would like to be able to assist when (or if) needed.

Recommendations: Rydain, NSNick, Kirbynite, Kasumi-Astra, JDavis, Colleen, drjayphd, Toxic

Reasons:

I have an interest in both of the topics/forums I have mentioned and enjoy posting in these forums. I try to be friendly to my fellow posters at all times, and am more than willing to assist when I am able. In previous roles at other forums I have taken on administrative roles, and as such I have experience with this. I have also been at this forum for over three years, so I am familiar with this board. During this time, I have posted mostly in the Modern Art forums and taken a great interest in Hardware/Software.

It is my personal philosophy that moderators should interfere only when absolutely necessary, and it is my intention to act in accordance with this philosophy. Should I have to interfere in a moderator capacity, I will strive to do so in a fair and friendly manner. I also see the role as a support and clerical role, helping users and "tidying up" when things go awry (ie, broken layout HTML).

In a support role, I envision myself helping out users with problems, assisting them with artwork or technical issues. Part of my role would include the maintenance of any stickies relevant to the forums, so that information is current and up to date (and therefore helpful to users). Where necessary, I will remove stickied threads that are also no longer relevant.

My goal in Modern Art and Hardware/Software is more or less to maintain the current status-quo. I believe both of these forums are currently friendly and open, and I wish to assist with maintaining this.

Forum to moderate: Trash Can.

Recommendations: Lenophis, DahrkDaiz, skateboarder11, Kefka (patent pending).

Reasons:

Well, trash has always been a hobby of mine. I've been fascinated by it's randomness. Trash can be someone else's treasure, and I've always been amazed about how people will trash threads where THEY CAN WIN A FREE TV OR IPOD!

I keep an open mind. Paper or plastic, I'll trash both. Recycling is a waste of time. You see, recycling creates groups. Groups are bad, this is segregation! We've got to cut down these segregational groups on the internets.

Four paragraphs seems like an awful lot to write. It seems that some people would fill their paragraphs with useless filler. This is paragraph three, by the way. I think four sentences is adaquate.

There's actually a beautiful story I'd like to share with all of you. There was a time when I felt I had reached rock bottom, and the only thing that was keeping me together was trash. I wore it, I ate it, I breathed it. Trash helped me get my life back together after overcoming my addiction to carrots and avacados. I was up to five carrots an hour, and I would shake violently when I didn't get a fix.

You see... trash has done so much for me. I'd just like to give back to this wonderful phenomenon.

Skills: Relearning php, html and css, and definately Final Fantasy 7.

Highest Obtained power level: Owner, Admin, Local Mod, Full Mod (other forums). And for this, good ol' Regular Member.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why : Final Fatasy Series:
I've always been a die hard fan of all the final fantasies up until 9. I don't own a PS2 or I'd probably love 10 and 10-2 also. I'd love to mod a final fantasy forums, since it's my very favorite gaming series ever. Plus I can find those useless, and overly made (not sure if they still are) "Which FF game is better?" or "Which FF character rocks more?" polls.

Craziness Domain:
I have a crazy sense of humor, but now that I've been around for a while, I know how to keep things under control. I love being crazy, and this is by far my most favorite forum on this site.

Recommendations: Randy53215, Xeogred

I love the final fantasy games, craziness, and overall: this board.
So being a mod on the final fantasy series forum here would be very cool. I could help people get strategies for bosses or enemies in almost any game until 9. Also, I could keep the spammy threads/polls like "Which FF game is better?" or "Which FF character is l33test" away.

I love being crazy, but I know how to keep it under control. So that's why I think I would be great for either (or both) the Craziness Domain and Final Fantasy Series forums. Also, I have been a member of this growing community since the year 2002, starting in or around July. I may not have many posts for someone who's been here that long, but I really do love posting here.

I try to make my posts long and clean, with spam as my lowest priority. In other words, I try not to spam. I know that when I first joined 3/4 of my posts were "Where do I get my own 1.8?" or "Can I have your layout?" but I have changed since then. Now I try to stay away from begging, but when I don't understand something, I'm not afraid to ask a question. On the off chance I don't understand still after asking the question, I'll ask for a code.

So overall, I think I would make a good local mod for these two forums because I enjoy posting here. I try to keep my posts humorous (or serious when needed) but not spammy, and I try to keep them clean. In my 3 years at the board I've had so much fun with the past staff, and now I'd really like to help out around my first and favorite online community.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why : Rom Hacking, Modern Art

I say I should mod Rom hacking because thats pretty much a forum I visit on a daily basis; multiple times a day, [same with Modern art if I see a new post there; which rarely happens.] I can tell the difference between posts that are garbage and what has potential. Pretty much I've been around to tell the good from the ugly. [and boy are some of them fucking ugly]
I think I'd do a good job in modern art because I'm very artsy and modern, and even though YD isn't to hot about it, I'm more artsy and modern than her. And there isn't really much spam there anyways, but if there was, I'd defenitely do something about it. oh yeah. I'd turn them into red X's. big time. the money shot. etc.

Recommendations: I'm still rallying my troops, we'll be back to set out an assault later.

So uh, I'm not writing up four paragraphs about how I'd make a good admin because I wouldn't, I'd ban 3/4ths of the population if given the chance.

REASONS why this forum is best for you : Well... let's see.. I have been on this message board for a very very long time. Since I've been around that long, I suppose I'd be an old geezer, or something. I haven't caused any trouble (that I know of). I'm rather helpful for those who ask for help.

I have been in the Story Forum ever since it has been created. I like to think I'm one of the parents of the Story Forum. Forefather may be the right word.. who knows.. Anyways, my posting activity may not be as high as before, but I still keep my eye on the Story Forum during my lurking moments. I stop by the board everyday atleast once a day. I also pop in at odd times of the day.

The forum may not get much attention from the rest of the board, but it has its moments. Every so often, someone will post a thread that will not belong there. Sometimes someone will post something that's too pointless and is in need of trashing. Speaking of which, I had just did that a few hours ago.

Oi.. I've never been good at these essay type things. I'm a man of few words. Though, maybe I shouldn't use that as an excuse. I fully understand what you mean about this being a job and not a status symbol. However, I'm not gonna let that stop me from kinda complaining. After all, it should be kinda nice to receive feedback or information from applicants. Well, sorta. Actually, I'm not sure anymore. I just hope I can figure out enough stuff to say. Modding one forum isn't as grand of a thing as modding or adminning an entire board. Just saying, y'know.

Hum.... Oh.. that's right.. I'm not applying for administration. I guess i don't need that much.

Reasons you think you will be a good local mod, what you plan to accomplish as a local mod: First off, keep in mind I've just bashed out four 30-inch stories... and I'm STILL coming back to write this.

I've been on staff for quite some time... think over a year now. While I was a local mod, I'd like to think I ran a fairly tight ship. But not THAT tight. The key to modding is only getting involved when need be. And as far as these two forums go, people are generally well-behaved. Haven't had to close threads for anything more severe than, in most cases, bumping. Besides, they aren't exactly Craziness/General Chat. Generally, if you're coming into Entertainment or Sports, you have a very good reason why. (ahem) For those two forums, it's just a matter of keeping things tidy and the conversation active. That is, beyond the level of "thanks for the replies keep em comming". ;P I also try to be accessible and fair... if I take modding action, I'll discuss it with you afterwards if you don't agree.

Besides, NOBODY wants to mod these forums. Well, no one that hasn't already climbed up the depth chart. And Max. But besides them, NOBODY.

Age:
19

Sex:
Male

Area of expertise:
- SMW Hacking, more or less. I've been doing it for years now and am about as good as I'm going to get without digging into ASM and other "hardkore" skills.

Skills:
- C++ Programming
- SMW Hacking (mainly with Lunar Magic, but some hex work, too)
- Graphics design and hacking
- Customer service (it's what I do for a living!)

Highest Obtained power level:
On Acmlm's - Local Moderator for SMW Hacking
Elsewhere - Full Moderator on Abadox, a board I used to frequent.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why:
SMW Hacking, it's about the only forum I frequently visit here and, as stated, I'm fairly skilled in it. And let's face it, it's one of the busiest forums and we need all the moderators we can get in there.

Recommendations:
Staff: Colleen, Tarale, BMF54123
Non-staff: Keikonium, Skateboarder11, Blackhole89

Reasons:
Well, unlike most staff members (I'm assuming here, so feel free to slap me if I'm wrong), I did not petition for my current position. It was offered to me. That alone should say something about me. I feel there were a couple of key reasons why I was initially nominated for this role (and, again, I'm assuming here, but I'm sure it's a safe assumption) for a couple of reasons. I'll break them done into four sections and discuss each in some detail.

- I'm well known and well liked there. I've had a couple of tussles with people in the past (Blisseh, for one, but then, who hasn't?), but I've never had a thread trashed or closed without asking for it. I try to be fair-minded and even-handed in all decisions I make, either on or off staff.

- As a matter of fact, my 2+ year history here has been completely spotless (i.e. I have never once been contacted by a staff member to stop breaking rules) I'd say that's a pretty big accomplishment.

- As I've stated earlier, I'm fairly proficient with all the ins and outs of Lunar Magic and just SMW Hacking in general. I have yet to release a full version of anything, but what I have released (Demo 1 of JAMH, custom and ported graphics in the ExGFX workshop, Tile Counter, among other things) has been receieved with critical acclaim.

- We were sorely lacking moderators there. FuSoYa, and to a lesser degree, BMF, (and god bless them for all they've contributed to the scene, am I right?) are not as active as they could be. They're great guys, and great moderators, but we really needed someone who could contribute a lot of time to the upkeep of the board. I'm not the most active poster here by any means, but I'd say I'm pretty close to the most active lurker. I'm always on, because I have a lot of free time to funnel into the board.

Now, I've only been moderating there for a (comparatively) short time, but I think I'd be a great choice for a renewed staff member. All problems that have arisen within my jurisdiction I have handled promptly and correctly, at least according to everyone who observed the instances. I'm not the most lenient moderator on staff (i.e. I won't take no guff from no one) and will often pre-emptively interject my self into situations before they get out of hand, but I do what I think I must to make the posting experience equal for everyone. By the same token, I've only directly resulted in one banning so far, so I'm not the most strict moderator we have, either. If I'm to be kept on staff, I will continue doing the job as I have been.

So, in summary:

I was originally picked for this role for a couple of key reasons. Those reasons have not changed in the slightest, and thus I feel it would be a good decision if my existence as a Local Moderator for the SMW Hacking forum was allowed to continue. Thank you for considering me for this role.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why: Game Creation Centre
I have used most of the popular tools used to create games and I can easily find answers to questions related to these tools. I also know ways to get the different parts of games completed since I have worked on a few small projects myself.

Recommendations: N/A (tell me?)

Well, I may not be a very active member, but I still take a short while everyday to check new threads, and once in a while I reply to them. I have been at Acmlm's board ever since Acmlm opened it in 2001 and I have never gone against the rules during that entire time. I may have spammed once or twice, but that was probably in the first days when everyone was spamming anyway.

Game Creation Centre may not be an active forum, but it stills gets some activity, and I think that it should be moderated as much as the other forums. I have seen bumped threads and threads about things which have already been answered, but every time it would take a while before anything happened since not many members visit that forum. Everyday I check Game Creation Centre to see if a new thread has been posted, and while doing that I can make sure that questions are answered.

When I was local moderator before, the only thing that was ever said about me was that I wasn't very active. That is still true, but if I were to become a moderator again, I would make an effort to post more often. I would make sure that questions which have already been answered regarding game creation would not be repeated by making a list of links to these answers and other resources.

Finally, I know that other people could easily take the time to check Game Creation Centre to make sure everything was ok, but since I already take the time to check it everyday, then I could just moderate it at the same time.

Forum(s) to Moderate and why : Sim-Battle Arena With Grey applying for Full Mod, the Sim-Battle arena is about to be mod-less. Without a mod, things will get rather... messy. To keep everything going smoothly, we need someone there, and since it won't be incredibly time consuming, all though I have a lot of time anyways, it is an easy job, just to keep things in check and not let the forum go to hell.

Recommendations: Grey, Schwa, Jarukoth, Teddylot, Zerodius (all active sim-battlers), more pending.

Reasons you think you will be a good admin, what you plan to accomplish as an admin.

The reason I think I'd be a good mod is rather simple. I know that if I get the position, big-headedness, being egotistical, or just being a bad mod will get the power stripped and I'll probably never get a position ever again. I know what can happen and I also know how to handle it. When things are serious, I'm serious, when things are all a joke, I can take the joke. I know the reasonable limits, I'm not going to goof off, and I know how little effect I'm going to have on the boards as a whole. Its simple why I think I can be a good mod, but what I think really shouldn't be brought into question, ultimately, its if you think I can be a good mod. If I don't get the local mod position, I'll be able to accept someone else more deserving wanted it. Its simple. I can accept things if I get the bad end and not whine about it forever. There are many reasons, but now I'm just rambling.

What I plan to accomplish will seem, a little... less than trying to change everything. I would rather keep things how they are. The Sim-Battle forum has been going smoothly for a while and new members are starting to join. The only thing we actually don't have is events that are actually planned out thoroughly and completed. The tournament we had a while ago busted and the tournament right now has gone down hill. This is a hard problem to avoid, but I know how to make it easily avoided. We are usually stressed for judges and contenders, some contenders have decided to be judges, like in Schwa's case, and that is a great thing to do, but it doesn't solve the problem. The best idea would to be to make sure everyone who is going to compete in these events is going to stay competing, or in other words, be a little selective. While this can be a double edged sword, done right, it will work perfectly. The ones who actually wouldn't have kept competing wouldn't care.

Now, everyone in the Sim-Battle forum knows me, or basically everyone. I know them, and we're all just having a good old time. One of the reasons I noticed Grey's little riegn had no problems was because everyone knew him, he knew them. It helps a lot. I believe that it takes a Sim-Battler to be the Sim-Battle Arena Mod and I doubt anyone would disagree. I don't plan to go over heads to do anything, not saying Grey or Kirbynite did because I don't remember it if they did, but to rather let everyone decide if something is wrong, then act accordingly. As I said, I don't want to change anything, just make sure everything keeps going smoothly. I don't really plan to talk about banning people who I don't know, and I would rather not make those decisions. Now, if I do know them to be a problem or cause problems on purpose, I would be able to make those choices.

All in all, I don't want anything to change, rather keep it the same. I've repeated myself enough, if you don't understand that, I dunno. The Sim-Battle Arena has gone unchanged since I arrived here, well activity spiking and falling but that doesn't count right now, and my only real goal and to maybe get more people into the arena and make it more enjoyable. I've never seen a Sim-Battler who actually tried to sim-battle be banned, except for that joke one April Fools joke. I've seen a lot of banned members who sim-battled, but I can safely say, that they weren't any good and probably didn't really care much for the boards. Blah, I'm repeating myself again, but changing things there, right now, won't be helpful. A new local mod will most likely be needed though, since Grey is probably moving on to full forum.
