That Sonic sprite... It looks... very low-quality. 3BPP even. I dunno, it just doesn't look good in comparison to everything around it, which has so much more detail.

I like it. You put much time and effort into it. I must say, though, your Sonic has much to be improved on. Prodigy on with it and it will be perfect. Moda has never even thought of something like this. I wish for a demo soon. Play it, I will. I'll also keep the demo as opposed to trashing it into Moda's recycling bin like I always do.

I gotta Yoda talk to keep my image!

Those are the Sonic sprites from Sonic Pocket Adventure. Good size, but no shading. Try and enhance the sprites. If you have problems, I may be willing to help you out.

Okay, this just looks too cool. I need a demo right away!

My comments:

1. I love the new spring pad! The BG really fits the level, but there is too much light blue space at the bottom of the BG. Everything else looks perfect.

2. This looks good, but why is that plant jumping?

3. Nope, nope, nope. Palettes dont look good. I see what your trying to do, but make the palette as SAGA as possible. The spiny shadowing looks good tho.

4. Again with the jumping plant.

5. Awesome looking!!

6. Jumping plant.

7-10. Everything else looks awesome!!

Suggestions:

1. Make sonic abit shaded.
2. Change the status bar "M" to an "S" for sonic. And change the coin graphic to be more sonic ring like.
3. Coin numbers are yellow. They should be white.

Overall:

Awesome!! I want a demo! This looks very good. It will be very weird not being able to powerspin tho.

Whoah, cool. A Sonic hack on a Mario ROM.

Never thought I'd see the day.

Then again, I never thought that Sega and Nintendo was merging, but, anyway...

It looks pretty impressive. Even though it doesn't look THAT great, I'm just going to download the demo/full game when it comes out just because it's the first Sonic hack I've ever seen.

I've been trying to find the gfx in all my sega smd & bin roms i have, but never can see anything rippable. How did you rip those gfx from sonic?. I've tried usin both yy-chr and TLP, but still can't find any viewable gfx just garb!.

More importantly, why does the water just STOP?

This doesn't look very good, sorry. Mainly because Sonic's style of gameplay is just plain not suited to the SMW engine.

It doesn''t look too bad, but when I see these sceens, I want ot have loopings, a fast hedgehog and also some non-straight ledges, like in Sonic 1 - 3 (if you used other tilesets, like pyramid tiles in FPI's hack The Second Reality Project II, it might be better).

The repetitive wall tiles also don't look that good if having a border. The rings also don't seem to be animated, since it is more than a random reason, why is there only one frame of the rings in each screen ?

And if you try a Sonic hack, make huge levels to run trough, and about the grafics, looks nice, but the ground/floor tiles repeat to early and make more shading as Sega did in the Mega Drive Games.
