| OFF: Realised I forgot to specify that the Rainbow Devil's eye goes into the air ducts EVERYTIME he gets out of the slime body. In short, physical attacks won't do any good... as seen in this post. ____________________________________________________________________ Unfortunately for Schwa, the Rainbow Devil simply flied backward a bit, going deeper into the air ducts in the ceiling. As such, not only did Schwa took heavy damage, but he also smashed right into the ceiling, doing absolutely nothing. Worse yet, the ceiling became unstable after Schwa's attack and a part of the air ducts fell down on him! OOC: Yes, that probably would have been a good thing to specify.  Also, sorry for the delay. Every other weekend = a No Post weekend for me, because I don't have Internet at my own house. I either post from school or at Dad's house. "Whoops!" Schwa's ether-coated hands grab the falling air duct piece in the nick of time. He looks at it for a moment and gets an idea. Placing the piece of duct onto the ground, he steps on it, creating a 'skating device' to get across the slime-covered pool he's standing on. "Now where did he go? Best way to find out is to fill the entire duct." Schwa kicks backward on the ground, and the platform skates across the room. Meanwhile, he kneels while on the platfrom and begins charging red ether into his right fist. This way, he can charge while moving around quickly at the same time. Schwa keeps one foot close to the edge of the platform for quick changes in direction in case necessary... Schwa can't move around much while charging, but he can at least move one foot. |

| OFF: Just a little note... just like in the games, the Rainbow Devil is one of the strongest Megaman boss characters and is a real pain to defeat. There are strong chances that the next few boss characters may be easier. In short, do not worry if Schwa lose a good part of his HP or/and takes a long time to defeat Rainbow Devil. On a side-note, while the Rainbow Devil has a large amount of HP (3 Life Meters), he has only one form. Once his HP fall to 0, he's definitely defeated. ____________________________________________________________________ A thunderbolt suddenly came from the air ducts and struck the slime, causing the slime to gather into balls and then to form a wall in front of Schwa. Then, the Rainbow Devil shot thunderbolts at the slime balls, one at a time, sending a wall of slime balls at Schwa! The power of the bolts had turned the balls solid; being struck by one is like being hit with a morning star. | "I can't let them knock me off the platform," Schwa thinks. "...Wait a second, I stopped moving!" The slime, which had gathered from the floor into balls, now no longer coated the floor, giving Schwa's platfrom nothing to glide upon. Schwa thinks. "I have to stop charging to dodge, but I REALLY want to use Alpha Gamma Omega. But that needs 2 turns of charging! Wait a sec... Spirit of Wind only needs one. Bingo." The balls begin flight. "Spirit of Wind!" (echo effects) With a wave of his hand, a small, funnel-shaped windstorm begins brewing in front of Schwa. Schwa does a backflip, then a GREAT frontflip to get over some of the balls, however in the air he's lightly nicked once in the head. As soon as he lands, he does a side-flip to the left, barely avoiding another ball, then a backflip and a right side-flip to dodge a few more. The whole time during these flips, he's charging lavender ether in his palms-- not exactly REAL charging, but it does take a while for lavender ether to be fully brought up. Then, right after the final flip, he crosses his arms over his chest, and his whole body flares up with lavender ether; it's Love Ether, the absolute most defensive type. One or two of the spheres may crash into him while in this state, but Schwa would only receive a tiny bit of the damage. Schwa's lavender ether flares down a split second after the last sphere is past. "Ha HA! That was totally ninja!" And the whirlwind is done brewing; it's now an Air Elemental (summoned creature). This creature is a little taller than Schwa, but it has the appearance of a regular tornado. Small electricity sparks fly from the bottom, where it connects with the ground. The creature has above-average HP and attacks with electricity and wind. (It also may have a few more surprises.) Schwa walks over. "Okay, I managed to summon an Air Elemental. This will REALLY help." |

| Rainbow Devil: "Interesting... target has psycho-kinetic powers... or simply magic, as they call it... too bad I have to terminate all intruders. This could have made an interesting subject to study..." The Rainbow Devil's eye sent a thunderbolt into the slime and it took the form of a gigantic humanoid once again. | Schwa scoffs. "It's NOT magic, it's called Psi, the power of mind and soul working as one. So you hate electricity, do you?" Schwa and the Air Elemental begin working as a team. Schwa brings his ether-coated hands together and brings them apart, and a huge sphere of Holy/Psychic energy forms there. With a hand motion, the sphere splits into a whole bunch of smaller spheres, which are psychically flung at the central body of the humanoid figure. This technique is to open the slime up and expose the eye. Then the Elemental coats itself in a cone of electricity, once all the spheres have hit (or missed) the target (however, since the slime should be slow in humanoid form, missing would probably be rare in this case... probably), and a large thunderbolt is shot directly at the (hopefully) exposed eye. OOC: As you can see, I was careful to imply that my attacks weren't "hit no matter what" attacks, as that's against the rules... See, I'm honorable!  |

| The spheres open the figure, exposing the eye. Rainbow Devil: "Errr... help?" ZAP!!! Rainbow Devil: "AAAAAARG!" Direct hit! The thunderbolt struck the Rainbow Devil's eye, inflicting quadruple damage! Rainbow Devil: "Checking systems... primary systems offline. Activating secondary systems... done. You'll pay for this, human! Have at you!" The humanoid figure reformed it's broken core and then ran toward Schwa! It was really, REALLY slow... but since it was so huge, it only took it a few seconds to make it in close. The Rainbow Devil then proceed to try to squash the Air Elemental or Schwa with it's right hand... whoever was the closest. It didn't seemed like it but this attack was incredibly powerful as the Rainbow Devil had made the hand solid during the attack and was putting ALL of it's strenght and weight into the attack... and should it hit, the character will get stuck into the figure's hand and will be sucked into the figure's core so that the eye may shock the victim about and then proceed to eject the victim out of itself at a speed of over 100 km/h toward the wall! The combo's total attack power wasn't quite as high as the tidal wave's... but it was close. Fortunately, there was a draw back. | "Whoa, here it COMES!!" Schwa dives out of the way, rolling on the floor to avoid the fist. The force of the blow against the ground, though, pushes Schwa faster in the direction he rolled, and he almost trips. He recovers with a frontflip. Air Elemental was on Schwa's right, and didn't get hurt. "You're gonna need to be a little quicker to hit a human! Yes, though robots may be better at everything ELSE, Humans excell in one thing: power of instincts. And in battle, that makes ALL the difference!" Schwa and Air Elemental attack again, but this time Schwa creates one huge sphere of energy and lets the whole thing fly at the Devil's body. This sphere splits apart moments before reaching the slimy surface. Schwa is experimenting a little to see which way works better. And either way, the Elemental attacks again by forming a cone of lighting around itself, then firing a lightning bolt into the eye. |

| The Rainbow Devil tries to get out of the way but it's hand is stuck! The energy ball splits in several smaller balls and strikes the slime figure!... however, while all of the balls made a small hole where they struck, it seems that only damage to the eye actually weaken the Rainbow Devil. As such, Schwa's attack is merely a minor annoyance. However, the Air Elemental's attack was once again just as effective, piercing a large hole leading to the eye. (Multiple Blessings of Attack don't stack.) Then the Elemental attacks with another well-aimed thunderbolt at the now exposed eye, with extra attack power! "This should work..." |

| The Rainbow Devil's eye was struck! Rainbow Devil: "System fKitten Yiffer. Secondary systems offline. Activating emergency systems... done." The slime figure disappeared, covering the floor with slime! The eye hovered above Schwa for a while... Rainbow Devil: "Interesting... it seems that I am no match for you right now. However... what you faced was not my true battle form. My true form lies deep within the factory, intact. I will go deep within the factory to repair my damage... and then, we shall meet again!" After that, Rainbow Devil's eye flied into the air ducts... and did not came back. It had ran away! =WAVE CLEAR= Slowly, the doors in the room unlocked themselves. | "Yeah, that's it! Run away from a MEEEEASLY human like me! MuhuHAHAHA!!" Schwa does his snazzy victory pose, and Air Elemental sends off miniature victory fireworks. But 3 seconds later, they're back to business. "Okay, no time for celebration. Something exTREMEly deadly is going on within this factory, and it's my job to figure out what so the whole Psi Warrior body can stop it." Schwa telepathically contacts Sensae. "Schwa here. I'm inside a robot factory in the middle of nowhere, which shouldn't even be operational. Five security robots attacked me and tried to 'delete' me... Keep me covered if possible, please." "You're doing well. Your Zraku companion is at Crystal Psipalace, itching to join the battle with you if necessary. Don't forget." Schwa and the Elemental head quickly but warily through the main door. Schwa's hands flare brilliantly with blue ether, ready for anything. The Elemental emits faint sparks of electricity from it's body, obviously pepped to help it's summoner. |

| The main door opened slowly, revealing a hall. As Schwa and the Air Elemental entered, the door closed itself and locked itself, trapping them inside... but they wouldn't probably care for what the hall contained would probably hold their attention far more effectively than the door locking itself automatically. The hall was a bit large... but it still seemed small becease that the entire floor was covered with dead bodies... the bodies of human beings. Soldiers, scientists, civilians, children... every type of body you could imagine was there. Apparently, they had been killed by a mix of bladed weapons and weapon fire. | Schwa found out however that the door had been locked for some reason... and judging from the looks of the door, it was a security level Omega electronic lock. The robots had seemingly tried to keep something sealed in this hall for some reason... | Then, suddenly, the ceiling broke open! Looks like there were not mice in the ventilation vents... there were actually just a single mouse!... and man is that a huge one! It's probably the largest mouse Schwa ever seen! | OOC: I forget which Megaman game this boss is from, if it is from one. "MOUSE!" Schwa instantly goes into a fighting stance. "Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa launches his signature attack by bringing his arms apart and drawing an arc of light in front of him, then firing the arc at the mouse. It homes in on the target, and if it hits it'll do pretty good Holy/Psychic damage (average for a special attack, that is). (This attack also does extra damage if the foe is Evil, has Evil emotions or thoughts at time of hit, or is an Evil-type of creature (demons, undead, etc.)) The Air Elemental fires a normal thunderbolt aimed at the mutant mouse's eyes, fired 3 seconds after Alpha Psibeam hit or missed the mark. |

| OFF: The mouse is not a Megaman boss... and as such, is not the real enemy! The real, actual enemy is this ONE! Penguin Bell, Megaman 8 version! If you beaten Megaman 8, then you must know that Penguin Bell is really powerful and NEVER come to ground level and as such, is uber hard to strike. Furthermore, it's lack of weaknesses will mean that altought the Penguin has only a single life meter and no allies, this WILL take a while. ____________________________________________________________________ None of Schwa's attacks could strike the mouse that a giant box fell on the mouse and crushed it! Looks like it was only a big cheese-eating mouse after all! | OOC: Never beat Megaman 8. NEVER seen this Boss. This will be interesting. "Okay, THAT'S more like it. I can fight another bot." Schwa doesn't know the nature of this advanced enemy. "To start... Gyrowell Advance!" (echo effects) Schwa throws ribbons of ether all over the room, and the fancy light effects come together in the center of the room and materialize into a rotating white ball of energy. The ball is an artificial Gravity Well, and anything except Schwa and the Air Elemental (including Schwa's attacks) are pulled toward the well for as long as it's active. It's an easy force to resist, but usually makes it a great deal harder to attack AND resist the pull, and since attacks are pulled in as well (lightly) this GravWell could either help or hinder either fighter. The Elemental fires a thunderbolt towards the Well, and it curves under the sphere and up towards Penguin Bell with a bit higher Attack Power and velocity. The gravity increased it's speed and compression, making it a more productive attack! |
