I would like it if I could reply even if the last reply is mine, because the ExGFX workshop thread has me as the last one to reply almost every time I have another BG to submit.

Why not just edit your post then, adding the new one? Seems like a logical solution to me.

Thing is, threads get outdated and pushed down the list easily, and double-posting prevents that. However, it's a difficult feature to code (although I'm sure Jesper could figure it out) and people abuse it too much. That's why it was disabled in the first place...

The point of not allowing double-posting is to prevent spamming. However, admins have the power to double-post so the code is there. I propose that after a certain amount of time, you can reply to your own post...say 1 week or something...

Maybe a day. After a week the thread is often just dead anyway. I've seen a few people double- or even triple-post though, some without even realizing it. |

It's almost impossible to completely stop double-posting, but with that said it's almost impossible to do it in the first place Edit: And even worse, you can't do it with Firefox -- I just tried xD (edited by Xkeeper on 04-09-05 10:53 AM) |
