| Please. I'm working on a site of ROM Hacking reviews, articles, humor etc., and want to see some "good" examples of terrible, terrible hacks. Poor pokemon themed graphic hacks, Babblefish-esque translations, you name it. Bonus points if the hack's for SMB1! Even more bonus points if the hacker's name involves a character from an Anime! But deliberately bad hacks (like, say, the Super Mario World Minus hack) don't count, because that's cheating. So yeah, kindly educate me in the ways of Shite. |

| Download a random hack from Zophar Seriously, I wonder if anyone actually checks through the hacks before putting them up.  There is a megaman hack called Crapman, but it's a satirical hack done on purpose. Althought, check Mew2's SMW hack on Acmlm rom hacking domain. (Mew2 is Bouche's old name xD) |

I'm certain one time ZD uploaded a hack of SMB with--I kid you not--boxes drawn around all the sprites.  I'd go look for it, but...I don't feel much like going there. All those old, abandoned mutant hacks give me the creeps. [EDIT] Okay, maybe not. But everything submitted by "John Deering" (all within one or two weeks, IIRC) is equally hazardous to your health, if not moreso. Crap doesn't get any crappier than this. Avoid! | DWOry - WORST. HACK. EVER. (Made by orynider.) It is a mix of total glitchiness, crapified Demo World levels, SMW levels which aren't changed at all and some weird, partially glitched exgfx levels with crappy palettes. | I tried a SMB hack that had Mystery Science Theatre 3000 theme. It was pretty bad cause they didn't change many of the sprites. Mostly all they did with mario was remove the moustache. I can tell it was one of the guys 1st hacks. | |||
