OK, listening to the game now.

4 - 1 Yanks, fucking wells gave up 9 hits already through 3 innings.

I had high hopes after Jay Payton, JAY PAYTON of all people got an RBI early, but idk.

Ali G In Da House is more interesting as of now.

Washington 0-1 -
Toronto 2-0 - Another 4 or 5 of these in a row and I'm going to have to cheer on the Jays like I did in the early 90's.

Pretty exciting opener for the Yankees and Red Sox today, huh? Shame it was the Yanks with the walkoff homer.

(Editor's note: Not unlike Rocky 5, Sunday night's game NEVER HAPPENED. Wells wasn't our Opening Day starter, it was Clement today. Nosirree.)

Oh, and you forgot to mention the WINNAR of the Steroid Sweepstakes: Alex Sanchez and His Four Career Homers. 38 minor-leaguers got busted too, including Damian "Aren't These Supposed to Be Performance-Enhancing?" Moss. That's just the early returns from teams who had spring training in Arizona, too. Florida teams aren't out yet, but one Cardinals player got caught in the offseason.

Jays are 2-0? it won't last long...they have always started each year well and then just lost it...

38 minor leaguers busted he? Moss really doesn't count since he has pitched at the major league level...

Did you get the receipt? You know, now that we completely and thoroughly own Mariano Rivera.

I can't believe what happened to rivera--two blown saves Rivera is one of the most consistent closers out there, isn't he? I read he was booed for the second blown save

anyways, too early in the season for surprises but the Brewers are undefeated

Not anymore

Tampa Bay 11, Oakland 1

2 words: Holy. Crap. (Considering that the D-Rays are the ones doing the damage)

Why'd they take Nomo (Tampa Starter) out? He was pitching a one-hitter!

I was tunning in and out of the Jays game today, they were playing Boston. I mainly tunned in to see if it was going to be a repition of yesterday, but this game was closer.

I'm not to sure what inning this was mentioned in, but the game announcers were commenting on Boston's uniform. I don't thin they were meaning this in the way most adolescents would take it, but they were kiding around about Boston "coming out of the closet". They must of repeated it a couple more times, even they were laughing.

That's strange. Boston's uniform looked normal today, no change or anything...

Nationals update: 3-3 as Loria's boys take the first series between Florida/Washington this season to slap us in the face again. Bastard will get his soon enough.

Yeah, but Boston owns him. They're too familiar with him (that's what happens when you play 26 times a season) and know what to expect out of his cutter.

See, he's fine against everyone else (sorry, Baltimore!).

Yeah, it seems that is the case... In other news, the Jays are leading the AL East--any guesses as when they will fall from that? I'm guessing when they run into the Yankees and the Red Sox...

And anyone can explain why Smoltz returns as a starter? Is it because the Braves acquired another closer?

Start rant: Why can't they (Marlins) win more then one game in a row. Enough with this back-and-forth shit!! End rant.

But it does make picking a game to go to, that much easier.

I wish I had caught the game today. Sox/Yanks. There was almost a fight.

Two of my classmates were at that game, lucky bastards.
