| Janus puts down his weapon, and slings it over his back... Janus: "Well, nothing, really. Ex isn't a bad being, just not a good one, either. In any case, she saved us. That's got her in my good light for now." He walks closer to the deformed being, a slight scowl on his face... "But I'm warning you, Ex. This energy is completely pure. Even you'll have some trouble assimilating it all into yourself, hence the half-transmutation you've become. Dracoon's right, you'll need dark power. In the very least, this should be enough to give you some real consciousness..." Janus reached into his bag and pulled out, with a slight look of disgust on his face, a black sphere about the size of his head. Dark energy oozed from it, and Sensae, Schwa, and probably even Origin and Dracoon would be apalled to look at it. It was a piece of Pure Dark Matter, the kind that would make O2 himself smile with delight. "Never thought I'd have to use this, but you'd be surprised at how handy it is to have devices from all corners of the alignment spectrum. Frankly, I don't even know how it exists in a place like this, but it should be enough to at least get Ex talking straight. And get some skin on her." He hurled the sphere of Dark Matter at Ex and wiped his hand on his suit's pants, leaving behind a steaming-hot black spot. Grey was, of course, incapacitated... Grey (thinking): 'What are you? What're you doing in my head? Get out! Get out get out get out get out!!!! Or if you're gonna stay, at least tell me what you're doing here!' The detective's mind was a jumble of insane, mixed-up thoughts that made little to no sense at this point. He probably needed to calm down. |

| As the Dark Matter touched Ex, she automatically absorbed it and then transformed it's soul energy into something she could use. Ex's dark aura suddenly became much "brighter" and she seemed more aware of her surroundings... and she was no longer undead looking. In fact, the dark flame was gone and Ex's fur had turned yellow. Her eyes were now blue like the sea unstead of red like blood. Ex: "I am... complete." Ex smiled. Ex: "I would like to tell you the name of the one who gave me a soul... but his name is a bit hard to pronounce unfortunately..." Ex approached Grey. Ex: "Looks like a bit of him got inside of Grey! Come out... say hello to your friend, Ex!" An eye appeared on Grey's body. Ex: "Oh! There you are... why are you hiding there?" It seemed as if the eye was speaking to Ex... but nobody could hear it. Ex: "You're afraid he'll trap you again? You were scared, all alone and away from your home? It's over, you can come out." The black liquid flowed out of Grey's body and took the form of a small sphere that then began to rotate around Ex. Ex: "The Dark Matter you trapped was very young, Grey... a child, you could say. When I came into contact with it's body, the combined energy of it's young, innocent soul and the Holy energy that I had completed my body. The elemental polarity of my body is reversed however since my soul is Dark and my body is Light... but I'll live with it for now." Ex took the small sphere of black liquid in her right hand. Ex: "I'll send it back to where it belongs." A portal opened behind Ex and then, she thrown the sphere inside and closed the portal. Ex: "Beings of darkness are sure strange... so full of contradictions... The Dark Matters are pure darkness, unable to feel positive feelings normally... and yet, like other beings, they seek the friendship of other beings, they seek to make others and themselves happy... even if they are unable to feel the feelings they seek. It was this quest for hapiness that turned 02 insane. Jealous that her own creation, Kirby, could feel positive feelings while she could not, 02 turned insane and decided that since she could not feel "love", "hapiness", and other feelings like that, nobody would. She had forgotten that sometimes, the feelings are not in the hormones your body produce... but in your actions. The very first feeling of a robot was not the same feeling as the one of a conscious being... but it was a feeling, no matter how faint or vague it was..." Ex smiled and laughed nervously. Yep, she was TRULY complete now! She even did all those useless long philosophical speeches like before! Ex: "Errr... sorry. I get carried in the philosophical stuff and go on, explaining to nobody in particuliar. I guess it's becease I have nothing better to do or something like that..." Ex looked around. Ex: "Hmm... why are you staring at me like that?" Ex looked at herself. Ex *thinks* Err... well... why can I never ever actually teleport in new worlds with clothes? I'm naked... yet again. Maybe this is why they're staring at me like that? I do am beautiful by human standarts after all... OK, I lied. I'm VERY beautiful by human standarts... but well... Why am I thinking that? I should teleport clothes or something unstead of wasting my time! Ex opened another portal and clothes appeared out of it. She put them on and then, stares at the others. Ex: "Hmm... now that this is done... what do we do? Can I help you or anything?" |

| Schwa had his eyes shielded while Ex was, well, you know. He turned to look once she had her clothes on again. "Good, I'm glad you noticed that... detail." Schwa begins pacing. "Okay, Ex... I trust you from now on. I'm Schwa the Psi Warrior, an embodyment of Good. Now Good is not to be confused with Holyness, because Holy is merely a tool that Good uses. No, I'm an embodyment of the actual characteristic of Good." He holds his right arm up. "I presume you can sense large amounts of energy easily? My right arm contains the three strongest elements in existance: Virtue, Respect and Honor. If I were transparent, you'd be able to see..." Sensae speaks up. "Schwa... I can still sense that Good-Evil gridlock from far away. It's gotten worse, with no influence from the Psi Warriors. In fact, I can't even detect the Psi Warriors from here." "Is the portal still open?" "Yes, but it's no longer emitting excess energy, which is a good thing." "Good! Then it's time for me to enter the portal." He looks at his friends. "Anyone coming? It may be dangerous, with all that Good and Evil around... Say, where's Dracoon?" |

| OFF: Just a little note... the conversations between Ex and Dark Weapon usually last less than a second since nervous signals travel much more quickly than sound after all. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex: "There's no way I'm going to miss an opportunity to help the forces of Good whenever I can!" Ex paused. Ex: "Good... Evil... th..." Dark Weapon *thinks* But will you SHUT UP and actually help them?!? Ex *thinks* So your transfer was successful? Good! Dark Weapon *thinks* Mostly... but the transfer of the Good Elements was unsuccessful. In our own world, the elements are Courage, Power, Wisdom, and Hope... but in this world, it's Virtue, Respect, and Honor. As such, the Good Elements I was infused with were incompatible and could not arrive. Ex *thinks* Is the Energy Receiver Module intact? Dark Weapon *thinks* Yes. In time, you'll be able to infuse me... and yourself... with the Good Elements of this world... if they exist physically. Ex *thinks* I see... what is your physical and mental integrity state? Dark Weapon *thinks* Edge has been reverted to Level 1. Soul intact. Soul Energy reserves empty. Ex *thinks* The usual... Any of my offensive powers locked? Dark Weapon *thinks* Most Techs locked... but since you were exposed to so much energy, you have all of your Level Alpha Techs, Dark Overdrives, and Unison/Full Synchro Attacks. In short, you start slightly stronger than usual. Ex *thinks* Defensive capabilities? Dark Weapon *thinks* Damages to me hamper your ability to concentrate thus reducing your speed and reaction time by 90%... but your actual reflexes, without me, are intact which means that while you won't be able to go toe-to-toe with deities or machines, you're still much faster than the average human. Your ability to absorb energy was reduced dramatically however. You cannot absorb any kind of energy, sorry... and there's worse! Ex *thinks* What? Dark Weapon *thinks* It seems that the power of the Dark Matter was not enough to completely turn you into a being of Light... as such, this body is merely an armor... and if that armor is removed, you'll be exposed. Ex *thinks* And so what if I'm exposed? Dark Weapon *thinks* Remember that each Dimension is made of at least two sub-dimensions: Light and Darkness... and beings of each sub-dimension cannot survive in the other one. The very air is corrosive to your true form, Ex! You'll need to hide in bubbles of pure darkness in order to survive should your armor be breached or removed. Ex *thinks* Sounds bad... but if I'm careful, it shouldn't happen. What about my mechanical parts and my ability to see? Dark Weapon *thinks* Mechanical parts intact. You can dash and double-jump using the thrusters in your feet. Your jump ability is still enhanced by your special shoes, allowing you to jump amazing distances and use jumping offensive Techs. Spindrive engine intact. You can Spindash and Screw Attack foes to oblivion. Alternate vision modes intact. Light/Dark vision, X-rays, Sonar, name them you have them! Personnal shielding online and Reactive Internal Armor intact. Weapon enhancement parts online. In fact... I'm surprised that all of your mechanical systems are intact. It seems as if the robotic parts of your body were unnaffected by the flux of Time and Space. Ex *thinks* Well... that was unnespected! I should take advantage of that while I can!... who knows? Maybe the effects of flux of Time and Space on my mechanical parts were only delayed, not stopped. Anything else? Dark Weapon *thinks* Well I think that's it. According to what you heard... I think that our current destination should be the Good-Evil gridlock. Something must be disturbing the gridlock... and the combined powers of you, the Psi Warriors, and the others should be more than a match for the source of the disturbance! Ex *thinks* Understood. Ex turned to Schwa. Ex: "Well... sorry about that. I'm going. There's no way I could miss the fun!" |

| As Ex and Dark Weapon thought to each-other, Schwa seemed dizzy. The reason was obvious. "Schwa," Sensae exclaimed, "Why read their minds when it's none of your business?" "I do that a lot. I need all knowledge I can get. But that part about the a--" He pauses and pulls Ex aside. "Okay, listen," he whispers to her, "I did read your mind a moment ago, but your thoughts moved so fast it was hard to get it all... What was that part about the armor and corrosive air? It's not that I don't understand, but the question is if it'll be a problem or not..." He turns to the others for a moment. "It'll just be a moment, hang on!" Then he listens for Ex's answer... |

Beings of Light cannot survive in the Dark World and beings of Darkness cannot survive in the Light World. This world happen to be the Light World of this Dimension... and since I'm a Dark One, just standing there will drain my Life Force." Ex smiled. Ex: "While I spoke of an armor... I was actually speaking about a second layer of skin that keeps my true form from coming into contact with this world's atmosphere. Also... do not espect my true form to be a horrific demon or something! The only differences between this form and my true one is that this one has yellow fur and that my eyes are blue. Also, the skin nullify my dark aura which means that unless one can sense dark power, people will think I'm normal... which is probably for the best." |

| Janus: "I fail to see what's so normal about a yellow mutant Raichu..." It's clear he still doesn't really trust Ex. But, of course, there's nothing to be done about it. As an aside, he also swings his hammer, opens a portal, and pulls from it that same sphere of Dark Matter Ex disposed of. You could never have enough useful random crap, after all. Besides, the little fellow was kinda cute... In that strange, soul-devouring way. "Now then, you're quite different than before, and goodness knows I could use a pet. I'm gonna call you..... Ah.... Hm. Can't think of a name for it." He tosses it into the air jovially, only to watch it hang there, in front of his face. Kinda creepy, but Janus had seen worse. "Ok little buddy, back home with ya. Now to find out what you eat..." He opens Satchel, and the little sphere perks up and flies inside. Janus turns to Dracoon, rapping his knuckles on the fourth wall a couple of times. "Man, we need to do something... You got any ideas yet?" |

| OOC: Speaking of Sensae, he should still be talking to Grey by now. Sorry for that wait. See, I thought Grey was permabanned so I thought it wouldn't matter if I left Grey and Janus alone for the rest of the story... Guess I was wrong again... And in case I didn't make it clear the first time, Grey... It WAS a mean trick to pull off.  ....  Sensae thinks to the fainted Grey. "You shouldn't be unconscious like this. You should be awake with the others. Awaken, child!" With a flash of energy, Grey's consciousness returns, courtesy of Sensae. Meanwhile, Schwa holds Ex back with an ether-coated arm... "Don't do it, Ex! Janus didn't know! Hell, even I didn't know! Breathe, breathe..." He also, at the same time, sends a telepathic message to Dracoon. "We're not talking about nothing, we're talking about human things. You can still be a part of it, but what I won't have is complaining." OOC: Yes, Schwa can still send psychic messages to robots. Basically he manipulates the electric currents in a robotic mind, while with living beings the message is recieved through the subconscious. So with robots, it's more like an electrical message than a telepathic message, but still... |

| OOC: Schwa, it'd interest you to know that I reported myself to the staff for an offense when I saw that you were so affected by what I did. I'm sorry. Janus held back at Ex's anger. It was true, he didn't really know EXACTLY what Ex was, but he knew enough to make him uneasy. Truces were one thing, but Janus wanted Ex to give him a reason for his friendship. Grey, however, regained his bearings with some difficulty. He still was quite bewildered with Sensae in general, and asked him a question that, to say the least, had also been burning in Janus' mind, as well... Grey: "So, I need to know... | Dracoon: "You know its not a problem to me." Dracoon started to scan around as he got a direct link from someone. Stacice: "Hey Drac, you there?" Dracoon: "Yes, I'm here." Stacice: "I'm having a hard time with the signal, is there anything there you could be messing with?" Dracoon: "It is Psi Energy, tech isn't as effective, as soon as I leave, I doubt I'll have contact with you." Stacice: "Oh, thats to bad... Wait, where are you going!?" Dracoon: "I'm not really sure." Stacice: "Another adventure, can I come too?" Dracoon sighed as he looked at Schwa, wondering what the answer would be. Stacice rarely got into trouble, but ever since she met Dracoon, she'd wanted to tag around with him. She was interested in machines, being an inventor and all, and the most hi-tech piece of machinery on the planet had tried to help her, which was slowly becoming an inconvience. |

I've never liked an imbalance of the forces in the world, it always sits uneasily on my shoulders." He takes Grey by a reluctant shoulder and half-drags him along towards the portal. "Just one question, though... What will happen if this gridlock isn't cleared up, exactly? We're talking an imbalance of Good and Evil energy, right? So... From what I know, if the imbalance is that of too much good, the evil balance will surge to try to equalize it, right? We'd end up with a huge evil imbalance on our hands simply because of the multiplicity of the nature of evil. But... Good energy doesn't multiply that way. "I have moved the portal to the inside of the Palace. Just step through that wall. But remember, I cannot be in contact with you until you come out. Is that understood?" "Perfectly, Sensae. Let's go, allies!" Schwa walks to the wall and steps through it. After a flash of white light, he is gone... disappeared into a new dimmension. He waits for the others... wherever he is... |

A bright light exploded from nothing in front of Dracoon and when it faded Stacice was standing right in front of him, or at least she should've been. Dracoon was already on his way to the portal. Stacice could just feel the love, and took off after him. |
