| Ex stared at Nijote... Ex: "So... you know about Eternum, the ultimate attack... well, so be it. I am Ex Lightheart, the only soul alive ever to be struck by it's infinite power and to live. You do realise what this means, right?" Ex smiled. Ex: "What do you say? Leave Odin alone and fight the One who survived Eternum in an One on One fight." ... NeoBowser stood there and didn't reacted... he was being ignored and he didn't cared. He slowly, silently headed toward the exit. NeoBowser *thinks* Yes... YES! Go on and fight while I go on and claim the Runes all for myself! |

| Nijote looked over at NeoBowser, hardly noticing Ex at first. Nijote: "I hope you know, the only way to get to the runes is to go down another floor. This is floor 92 right now, you need to get down to whatever floor has the runes. There is no other way than to defeat me." Nijote turned towards Ex, smiling. Nijote: "Yes, I know of eternum, ultamate attack, blah blah blah. Everything has its draw back though, I mean, it isn't dangerous if wasted on a dummy. Thats all Eternum was ever used on, NeoBowser was foolish though. He couldn't tell the difference between a replica and the real thing." Nijote looked at Star who tried to frantically hold up the barrier, his arm completely back now. Nijote: "You have no chance Ex, not alone. You can try if you want, but look around you." Nijote held her arms out, pointed at Dracoon who was just now slowly getting up and Stacice who was struggling. Odin and Fenrir were now fully recovered and looked ready to go again. Nijote: "It hardly took me 30 seconds to knock down 4 fighters, two of them supposed to be the strongest." Star: "You got a cheap shot, they had already used a lot of energy just trying to fight each other!" Nijote: "Its what I do." Nijote leaned toward Ex, almost as if she was going into a running position. She disappeared completely, reappearing right next to Ex, a hard kick about to smash into Ex's head. |

| Ex was not impressed. Ex: "You did the worst mistake one can do." Time froze and Ex grabbed Nijote's leg. She then proceeded at smashing her head-first into the floor as hard as her weakened body could. After smashing Nijote into the floor (cannot be countered or avoided... but if resistant to Time Freeze, Nijote will simply suffer no damage... altought she'll find herself standing on her head unstead of her feet for some weird reason), Ex jumped backward and her smile grew wider. Ex: "I do not need weapons to defeat you... altought you are stronger than me. I admit that I'm weaker... but power alone doesn't win battles. NeoBowser learnt this the hard way..." NeoBowser ignored the two fighters. He stood in the doorway and waited... Ex was probably falling in this ninja's trap, NeoBowser tought... but NeoBowser knew that whoever won, may it be Ex or Fake Nijote... he shall still win for he has a plan... |

| Ex's attack had no effect what-so-ever and she was smashed in the head, thrown against the wall. The attack wasn't devastatingly powerful, but it was enough to give someone a nasty headache. Star: "Ex, you idiot! Do you not understand the concept of a time blocker?" Star kept the barrier up, wishing he could help. They really looked like they needed some more speed, not strength. Nijote: "Let me explain it for you." Nijote walked over to Ex, lifting her up with incredible strength, but none of it was meant to harm this time. Nijote: "Time is completely relative in the real world. Now, what Origin and Dark Pheonix did, they made it so time had almost no effect and that the tower would stand forever. What you might find to be a million years, I could see as two seconds, or fifty million years. Anyways, with that, they made it so every powerful creature down here, could make it so time couldn't be stopped, slowed, or sped up." Nijote put Ex down and turned to NeoBowser. Nijote: "You have some power back, you really content with not using any of it?" |

| Janus: "He won't get a chance to!" Flourishing his hammer and spinning it around in his hands like a baton, Janus charged a burst of holy energy from it, and sped toward Nijote! "Whirlwind Strike!!!" As Janus ran, he went into a tornado spin, which swung toward the assassin and amplified the forward momentum of his strike. He came out of the spin, only to dash straight past Nijote, bushido-style, coming out of the attack with Satchel slung over his back... "As long as time doesn't mess with me, I'm perfectly fine..." As a lovely little follow-up, he eyed Odin and Fenrir, turning around and hurling his hammer at Odin to give Fenrir a diversion to work with! |

| Ex was a bit frustrated. She wanted to show that brat, Nijote, how arrogant she was by beating her up... but unstead, it was her that was humiliated. As for NeoBowser, he smiled. NeoBowser: "You want me to use my power? Heeheehee... are you SURE you want that? If you can read minds... then you must know that you do NOT want me to use my powers..." |

| Nijote turned, surprised by Janus' quit moving. She had almost over looked him completely when she was supposed to watch for him and Fenrir. She knew she didn't have time to dodge the attack safely, so tried something else. She jumped into the spin. She had managed to avoid a direct hit, but had been caught on the side. She left the spin, spinning. Nijote: "Damnit, forgot about you..." Odin didn't expect any sort of attack from anyone and was caught off guard. He was hit on the chest, his armor making a loud clang from the impact, and a second later, the clang echoed as Odin slammed into the wall. Fenrir struggled to stand, changing back from his wolf form was always very stressing to his body, this time it had been worse. Nijote: "You won't get away with that Janus!" Nijote dashed towards Janus, doing the normal disappearing a long ways off and reappearing right next to the target. She had appeared right behind him and had her foot aimed at the back of his head. Fenrir: "Janus!" Fenrir fell foward, Luna rushing to help him. She had her gun aimed at Nijote, and had tried firing it several times, but nothing had happened. |

| NeoBowser figured out the time had come for him to act. He smiled and then, his eyes glowed red. He was now seeing soul energy unstead of physical matter. He stared at where Nijote should be... and if she was souless... he WILL see it or rather, not see it if you see what I'm trying to say... Anyway, NeoBowser still had a little bit of mind-controlling powers in him... and since souless people cannot think and feel on their own, he would be able to use the fake Nijote as a puppet should she lack a soul. Yes, he would have to struggle with Origin for control over his new puppet... but NeoBowser was probably the strongest creature ever mentally. It is quite simple... if he wants to control a being and has the means to do it then he WILL do it no matter how much mental endurance the target has or how determined are the being's guardians. ... Ex dashed toward Nijote as fast as she could and unsheated Dark Weapon while dashing. She then aimed and attempted to stab Nijote right in the heart! The chances that she would strike Nijote in time was one against 2 billions but well... | In a fine display of his quick reflexes, Janus drops to the ground immediately on Fenrir's call. He pushes backward with his hands, sliding along the floor of the room and through Nijote's legs. His next maneuver? A quick push-up into a handspring that sent him into the air as he called Satchel back to him, bringing the hammer down on Nijote with a buzzsaw-like overhead strike intended on slamming her in her unsuspecting face several times before she could react to his speed! | Nijote remembered Janus' speed this time, and focused on going faster than him. As soon as he went under her, she was gone, disappearing again. Ex's strike would've been useless, as Nijote wasn't there anymore. In fact, she didn't reappear at all. Luna: "Where did she go...?" Everything seemed silent for a few seconds, Odin, Dracoon, and Stacice had all recovered. Dracoon's scanner up, not seeing anything. Star jolted awake, and looked right at Nino. Star: "We need to find the others, now." Nino: "What?" Star: "I'm with them, well, another Star is with them, but he's useless. They are fighting Nijote, well a dark copy." Nino: "You're kidding..." Star: "No, I'm not." Nino: "Would she be more powerful than the other Nijote?" Star: "Way more powerful." Nino: "Got, here we go!" The barrier Nino had made crashed together, teleporting Star and Nino into the center room. Both Stars saw each other but didn't say anything. They noticed the silence around, and Star immeaditatly picked up. Star: "Janus... Everyone else here is to slow. This fight is entering a speed they can't see, or even react in. If Fenrir and Odin were ok..." Star looked at both of them, Odin looking extremely tired, and Fenrir looking messed up himself. Star: "They'd be some help." Star didn't say anything else, but vanished. A second later Nijote and Star reappeared for a split Nijote doing another flip kick with Star blocking it. They disappeared to everyone again, but this time, Janus and NeoBowser could see them. NeoBowser's soul vision had indeed picked up a soul within Nijote, a very powerful one. Not only that, but something was around her soul, denying access to taint it, unless you went through it first. Nijote: "What chance do you have? I haven't even fought with my daggers yet." Nijote stood again in the center of the room. Star appearing a little away from her. Star: "Star calling..." Nino nodded and she zoned out, her eyes glazing over. |

| Janus: "Star, get ready! Heart of Steel!!!" As Janus folded his hands and let his hammer float in the familiar clock-formation before his body, archaic symbols formed around his feet... Despite his closed eyes, a swirling, glowing blue light could be seen beneath his eyelids. It flowed freely from the brown pools set within his face, growing ever more luminescent by the second! His body slowly lifted off of the ground, and the hammer's handle began moving in a clockwise direction. First to the "one" position, then the "two". The "three", "four", and "five" positions were passed, and the hammer pointed upward, its handle at Janus' levitating feet. Only that magnitude or higher, thought Janus, could even hope to create a rift in this Time Blocker that Nijote had set up... Janus sighed as his shoes once again touched the ground, and opened his eyes. Time had shifted ever so slightly within his body, and a focused field of stabilization was created around the relative form of Janus. The field was vital in helping to remove the effects of the Time Blocker, which had already begun to slightly throw off Janus' inner biological workings, and allowing him to once again use time to control the movement speed of his body! "I think I can finally give you some help against this faker!" With every muscle in his body fully under his control, Janus surged forward, also disappearing to everyone in the room but Star and Nijote. NeoBowser, however, probably wouldn't be able to pick up his soul, as it was quite carefully guarded, and not even stored within his own body! Janus could only hope he'd be able to match Nijote at this rate... If there was one thing that Star needed right now, however ironic the need may have been, it was time. As he approached Nijote in the center of the room, Janus put on a burst of speed that caused him to disappear and reappear behind her, to her left, top, and front, delivering a swift hammerblow each time! |

| Blindly moving forward had somehow let Bel escape the fire. Dark Pheonix wasn't anywhere around, but mentioning him, did seem to break the illusion. Bel was in the maze again, and he could easily see the center room with everyone in it. Nijote seemed to still be ahead in just pure speed and was able to half block each of the attacks. She flipped just in time to rocket off a wall, pulling her daggers out and cutting into the air directly around herself. Shockwaves went out in every direction, spreading all the way across the room. Everyone, no matter how strong/fast/whatever, could've blocked the attack as the entire room was filled with the shockwaves. Nijote landed in the very center of the room and looked around. Star had been knocked off course and into a wall, everyone else was on the ground, except NeoBowser and Odin. Odin had blocked the attack and NeoBowser, even if he took full damage, hadn't been hurt yet so he was all right. Nijote looked around again and she swore someone was missing though. Nijote: "Where did you go Star? Did you run with those little kittens?" Star: "Nah, just invisible." Nijote turned around as the other Star, Blade Master the one not from the future, had unsheathed his sword and shock waves were comming at her. She jumped out of the way, landing on her hands and bouncing up, trying to find the best way to attack. |

| NeoBowser stared at the shockwaves as they were flying toward him... NeoBowser then took out his Trident and spinned it about trying to block the incoming shockwaves. Thanks to it's size, the Trident blocked all incoming shockwaves. NeoBowser kept staring at Nijote... NeoBowser: "My patience has limits, you know! If my "friends" doesn't destroy you quickly... then I shall do so myself!" |

| Nijote looked right at NeoBowser, grinning. She was to busy being arrogant, to notice Dracoon was firing a blast. Dracoon: "Power Shot!" The blast swept along and hit Nijote directly, in another second Star had kicked her into the floor. She sprang out, nailing Star with a kick and spun to hit Dracoon, but someone was in thet way. Luna had a gun aimed, and this time it fired. The bullet was relatively harmless alone, but Luna had somehow enchanted it and the bullet had hit Nijote directly in the should, cutting through it. Nijote: "Damn, this isn't over." A seal appeared under Nijote, and she was gone. |

| Janus got to his feet and shook himself off. What kind of ninja lady did something like that? Janus: "I... Whoa." Ha, cool, he thought. Two Stars. "Alright, then. She just ran away, right? It's not like she was defeated, or destroyed, or annihilated, or even stopped? No sign of her, just the destruction. He wished he could have helped Dracoon and his friends, though. "Dammit, it feels like Origin is just playing with us, now. First, we face an insane monster, then each other, then our greatest fears... Now this! This is stupid, this is pointless!" Janus paced around the room. There was no indication of relief, he was trapped in a room with a pair of madmen that would slice each other to ribbons if they had half a chance, and all the while, he wasn't even close to helping out... Nijote had made such short work of him AND a group of the strongest people he had ever met, it was embarassing! *sigh* "Man, futility sucks. Anyone got an idea of where to go next? It looks like the dude in the robe and that crazy embodiment of darkness are going downstairs to the next suicide run. Opinions?" |
