| OFF: Sorry for not posting... my internet connection was kind of... broken. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex looked around... her soul suddenly sensed something... an impulse... Ex: "NO! You did NOT did what I am thinking! Chaos... Creation... whatever your name! You will NOT rob her of her ability to choose her own fate!" Ex stood up and then, she fell down, lifeless... Her soul had left the plane of existance and had returned to the void where Serra and Creation were... Ex appeared next to Serra, in her true form. It wasn't very different from her usual form... exept that it was constantly burning in dark flames and her eyes were blood-red. Her fur was as black as the flames... and becease of her color, it was hard to see her in the blackness of emptiness. Only her eyes were truly visible. Ex: "You really can't do anything without me, can you?" Ex smiled. She turned to a random point in the void. Ex: "Chaos... or should I call him by your original name, Creation. While your intentions are different... your actions are the same as in my Possibility. Just like in my Possibility, you are ready to sacrifice countless lives in order for History to stick to your stupid plan. Fate is your weakness... by forcing the mortals into it, you are causing a meaningless slaughter... and your own death." Ex turned to Serra. Ex: "Serra... Creation may be powerful but... he could not erase who you are." Ex shown Serra her own past... Serra saw herself, fighting alongside Hero, Destin, Star, and the others to keep NeoBowser from entering her Possibility. She saw Fenrir and Odin, ignoring their respective fates and fighting togethers as allies. She saw Siryx, who she had freed from his tortured fate... she saw an entire world scream and protest against their cruel Fate and eventually overcome it... Ex: "If you deny who you have became... then you deny all of your friends, all that happened, as well as what you were fighting for! This world is going to be destroyed... but emptiness doesn't mean innexistance. The mortals have grown to be mightier than Creation; their ability to overcome Fate proves it. Serra..." Ex approached... Ex: "Take my hand and let us return to the world. We shall eliminate the last Evils and from the ashes of this world, we shall create a new world... a world created by the mortals, for the mortals." Ex smiled. Ex: "Such a world can exist. I was born in such a world... Do not listen to the dying Creator... for his time has come. A new era is about to begin... Let us enter this era together." ... During this time... ... NeoBowser: "How very annoying... I'm wasting my time!" NeoBowser knew it would not be a good idea but... he decided himself and opened the door to his left. He was especting the worst... | Serra struggled, the weights were still on her and it didn't take her anytime to realize this wasn't Creation putting the weights on her. Serra: "Ex... be very careful... and run..." Serra could feel a wave of energy approaching them slowly, it was unlike anything she'd felt before. ???: "Don't worry Ex... Creation had no intention of changing her, he only wanted to save her... Its sad though. Creation has been lacking in power for a long while, this place is his sanctuary and it barely has enough power to support the girl. I know you Ex, we've met. Or rather, we will. It depends on what you think of as here and now." The energy wave was now over Serra and Ex, it was completely invisible. ???: "Nows not the time to try and fight this universes prime elements. This is a very... different universe, and I'm afriad to say, a good deal of your power will remain untapped." The entity finished and Ex could feel herself warping away. In a matter of a second, Ex was in front of Dracoon, in the center room. ???: "Now as for you Serra." Serra felt the weights vanish and she flipped backwards, landing on her feet, although there was nothing below her. Serra: "I don't have time for this... Who are you?" ???: "Another time, I'm sure someone knows me that travels with you." Serra felt the same warping sensation as Ex did and appeared besides Ex. As soon as she entered the world though, she could feel her body trying to split apart. She collapsed to the ground, feeling immense pain. Dracoon: "Whats going on... Her body is unstable." Serra: "Dracoon... I need you to help me... This body won't last here, I can't go back into being an Ex anymore..." Dracoon: "I understand, I need 10 minutes." Dracoon started to charge something inside of him. NeoBowser walked out into a void of nothingness. It looked like space, but with no lights. He was still standing though, and Ex stood right in front of him. (as far as he knows) |

| Ex turned to the others. Ex: "Serra as well as myself seen everything!" Ex turned to Odin. Ex: "A force is manipulating us. I have strong reasons to believe that Chaos did not, in truth, caused this second Ragnarok." Ex seemed uneasy... Ex: "That presence felt... familiar. I was not exposed to it long enough to remember who it was but... I have the feeling I met him... and I have a feeling it doesn't have good intentions. It could also be behind Chaos's sudden loss of power." Ex turned to Odin. Ex: "This creature... must be terrible beyond imagination. Only a creature who can use the Energy element can harm Chaos... and Chaos has been hurt a lot!... and it was done recently. In fact, he is dying... which means that either the Ragnarok is a last ditch attempt by Chaos to save himself... either it is a diversion to keep us away from the REAL enemy." Ex seemed... quite frustrated. Ex: "If doing a diversion was the creature's intent... well, it's a success. Serra is robbed of her power... Chaos has his power drained... the world is gonna have a second Ragnarok... We really have our hands full." ... During this time... ... NeoBowser: "Hmph! Is that all you got, Origin? A worthless copy? I KNOW that this is not the real Ex Lightheart." NeoBowser began to grow impatient... NeoBowser: "Too bad I no longer have the Chaos Essence! I would have dispelled this copy and then took those stupid Runes before long!... but unstead of that, I'm stuck here, dealing with stupid puzzles created by a stupid deity!" | Janus' body twitched at the poke. He rolled over onto his back, opened his eyes, and saw what he thought was Star... Was it really him? Janus: "S...Star? But you..." His head was still dazed... Origin's tower had hit him where it hurt the most, in his mind. But he had beaten it, for the time being. Now he needed to find out where he was. "Did you die? I saw you get blown away by Dracoon... Or, I thought I did. Where am I?" He sat up and looked around. A cat girl and a close personal friend of his. Or, a lookalike of him, anyway. Origin's tower had already shown him a few hundred illusions at once, there was no real reason to believe this was actually Star. And who was his friend? |

| OOC Zerodius, Odin isn't there, I'll assume you meant Dracoon... Star: "Not sure what you're talking about Janus. Its been over 6 billlion years since I last saw you, so you're probably talking about another me." Riea: "Umm... Star, this still makes no sense, you yourself said you can't travel back in time anymore, and I'm here too... I don't think we go back six billion years without noticing it." Star: "We can worry about it later then. For now, lets find him." Riea: "Ok, you comming along Janus?" Riea looked down at Janus and white orbs started to float up around her, she looked again at Janus and he was instantly relaxed. Fenrir: "You're mistaken Ex... This isn't the second Ragnarok and no one is controlling it. Mearly, forces that have been at work for a very long time are still working." Fenrir walked into one side of the room with Luna helping him. In sudden out burst of commotion a cat person came from one of the halls and looked around. Odin and Stacice rushed out a second later. Everyone looked around a little surprised. Serra: "Dracoon... are you ready...?" Dracoon nodded and touched Serra's stomach. She started to glow and his buster cannon started to glow. Serra's body disappeared and Dracoon's buster cannon glowed brightly, Serra's body reappared a second later, with lines almost as if she was data for a few seconds. She came completely into existance and she sat up. Bel started to feel a pain in his head like nails were trying to dig out of his skull. The pain continued to increase as more people died. NeoBowser only could look ahead as Ex stood there, bringing out Dark Weapon. Ex: "Oh, but you don't get it... In this tower, illusions are real!" Ex started to laugh. Each time she laughed NeoBowser felt more pain. The pain was attacking his mind though, not his body. |

| Ex stared at Fenrir... Ex: "The Ragnarok is already over, Fenrir. Chaos said it himself... and since he's the Creator of this Possibility and since he is bound by the rule #1 which is "the Creator shall be Perfect with a big "P" or else an angry mob of mortals will tear him apart", it means that he cannot lie and as such... well, you get it. This is not the Ragnarok. It's a fake created by someone else..." Ex paused... Ex: "I joined Odin becease I believed this to be truly the Ragnarok... but I do not see any usefulness in following him in a fake Ragnarok that will only cause pain to the souls of the world and nothing else." Ex unsheated it and pointed it at Fenrir. Ex: "You can consider that I have switched sides... for now. I'll eventually return to Odin's side... but until this case has been solved, you can consider me an ally." Ex sheated Dark Weapon and turned to Odin. Ex: "There you are... the Ragnarok is fake, Odin. You have been fighting for absolutely no reason. Indeed... that continent that was nuked was destroyed for nothing. An evil force is at work, throwing the world into a mock-up of the Ragnarok... and until that being has been taken care of... I fear that I'll switch sides. In short... I'll follow your opponent, Fenrir, starting from now... but do not consider me an enemy. Fenrir is not bound as much as you to Fate and as such, he is more vulnerable than you are... altought he has clearly superior fighting capabilities. As such, I'm following him until that being has been defeated. Once he's gone, he's on his own again, though!" Ex smiled. Ex: "We shall be on the same side again sometimes, Odin!" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser laughed and laughed and laughed... NeoBowser: "Hahahaha! What a joke! You TRULY are a lame copy! The real Ex would NEVER attempt to fight me using the very energy I feed on!" NeoBowser's Trident began to glow... NeoBowser: "Heeheehee..." As the pain continued to flow in his veins, NeoBowser's wounds began to close... his body seemed taller... but he had not grown in size. In fact, his back, which had been broken by the flow of time, was being repaired. The Trident was absorbing the pain the copy was transferring into NeoBowser and was using it to make it's wielder young once again! After a short while, NeoBowser was back to his former, young self. NeoBowser (voice is MUCH scarier now. Detail in his voice that made his voice ridiculous is gone): "Haaa... there's nothing like feeding off your enemy's mistakes!" NeoBowser pointed the Trident at Ex. NeoBowser: "My powers were not restored... and as such, I'm still mortal... but unlike the real Ex, you cannot survive your weak point!" NeoBowser put his Trident back into his backpack. NeoBowser: "This is a beautiful darkness, isn't it? Perfect for a dance... just between you... and me..." NeoBowser did a strange gesture... he made a step backward while inviting the copy to dance in a weird way... No doubt about it! NeoBowser was trying to activate the self-destruction mechanism that was in every "Ex" being: the Dance of Insanity! Since this was a copy, NeoBowser espected the copy's desire for death to surface thus allowing him to get an easy kill... NeoBowser couldn't wait for the copy to anwser. Sure, it wasn't the real thing... but killing this copy would still satisfy him until the day he'll finally get to kill the real Ex Lightheart! That hated, stupid rat... always interferring in his plans... He vowed to someday end the rat's life and restore the honor to the Forces of Evil, disgraced twice by Ex both as her original self and as Serra, her alternate but nonetheless annoying form. |

I didn't feel any kind of time change, so you must be here independent of the rest of us... But, what are you doing here? And where, or rather, when the hell have you been?" He addressed Riea as well... "And who are you, and what are you doing with my friend?" And one last question to the both of them.... "Also, have you seen a guy running around here? Sort of a wolfish fellow, likes his pistol?" |

| Star: "Short answer, I got stuck in the future, so I had to AGE 6 billion years..." Star sighed a little. His mind remembering it all. 1 billion and the current planet had no life on it. 1 billion to wait for a while for the planet to be livable again. Another billion for life to actually start to form, another two billion for actual life to form. Finally 1 billion before he could show his face without being met as a god or something. Riea: "Please, don't ask for the long answer, he'll be here all day... Anyways, I guess I'm from six billion years from your future, but I haven't felt it. The planet in the future doesn't have any humans like you, we are kinda... highly intelligent cats. I guess I'm the one who is keeping his stomach alive... We found him one day outside of a village, I was the only one who would cook for him..." Star: "And I thank you everyday. Fish just isn't enough sometimes." Star paused for a second, wondering how to answer Janus' question... Star: "I could have, I'm not sure... Anyways, I can get you to him in about 3 seconds if you want." Fenrir started laughing at Ex's comments, he bent over laughing, enjoying every second of it. Fenrir: "Do you believe that only one Ragnarok can happen? Have you paid attention at all? No one can control Ragnarok, its been destined to happen, of course... I'm the one who's broken it several times. This is hardly the first time, this is just the first time its been so hard. This Odin is smarter than the rest, he was able to survive." Fenrir stopped for a second, he was still half way into laughter. Fenrir: "Chaos, that false god? You have no clue just how weak he actually is... I've met him before, he was pathetic, he was supposed to have made sure I didn't come back, that I was supposed to be purified after Ragnarok and come back another time, but I didn't. I was stronger than him and broke his hold on the universe, or at least I thought. When another Odin appeared, I was astonished. He still had enough power to make Odin reappare, then I learned that over 150 Ragnaroks happened before mine did and what happened each time. I didn't feel like going through it, so here I stand, 329 Odin's put in their graves by me. I know how this universe works Ex and your laws of Chaos don't exist. No one has supreme power here, expect the strongest fighter." The cat-kid looked at Fenrir awkwardly and then stepped back a little. Odin was a little worried by everything, but just hated Fenrir more now. Fenrir: "Take back your offer Ex, I don't want the likes of you to work with me..." NeoBowser had no side effects and the illusion shattered, an open path was in front of him. |

We have both revolted against Chaos and overcame Fate only to be forced to face it again and again... both labelled as "evil" for our nature and name..." Ex smiled. Ex: "I like you. I hope I never happen to learn that you've murdered thousands of people in the past for no reason... and if I do, I hope I'll learn that your fights with Odin's incarnations gave you a cause to fight for." Ex turned to Odin. Ex: "Well... looks like I won't switch sides after all. I came to this world to make sure Evil wouldn't come back... now I am here to learn everything about this world and keep this world from being consumed by Fate!" Ex approached Odin... Ex: "There is much hatred in your eyes... but this hatred isn't yours. It is an instinctive hatred put into your mind by superior forces. You're nothing but a puppet... a puppet which Fenrir will crush easily... but it is why I follow you." Ex stood next to Odin. Ex: "I am confused... I am a dark force which exiled itself from it's own world in hope of reaching a world in trouble where it could finally find excitement... and well, my wish has been fulfilled. This is quite a complicated case I got myself into... and I do not regret it one bit!" Ex smiled... Ex: "A world on the verge of destruction... two persons stuck in an endless duel by the forces of Fate... an evil entity manipulating the former master of everything... and travellers from other worlds interferring. | Odin: "Weak... Are you calling me weak!? I'll show you weak!!!!" Odin started glowing brightly and he pulled his sword into the air. He rushed at Fenrir, who responded about the same time, them meeting in mid air, Fenrir's gun blocking the sword from hitting him. They counced back and crashed again in mid air, this time Odin blocking a kick. They both landed in the center and jumped away from each other. Odin: "Come on, I felt that power earlier, why don't you use it..." Fenrir: "You really want me to..." Odin: "Do it!" Fenrir started to glow brightly, his body emmiting a weird pruplish black light. All of a sudden it caved in and a giant wolf stood in front of them. His body emmiting the purplish black aura. Fenrir dashed at Odin and before he could see it, Odin was hit directly, into the wall. Odin rose up quickly and jumped at Fenrir punching down hard on Fenrir's head. Fenrir flinched a little and pulled back, shooting a huge beam of dark energy at Odin. The blast just going from Fenrir mouth shot everyone back against the wall, except the cat-kid who somehow managed to stand, Odin was consumed by the beam, but as soon as it ended, he jumped at Fenrir again. In a flurry of fast movement, they started colliding, throwing shock waves around the room, making people be forced against the wall. |

| Ex tried to make it between the two so she could stop them from fighting... but she was too weak in her current state to fight the current created by the shockwaves. As such, she was hopelessly stuck in the wall. Ex: "Odin, stop it you moron! You can't win! You're no match for him in this state! Fenrir! You're wasting your time! He's just acting on the impulse of an irrationnal rage that isn't his! Ignore him! He isn't a threat to you in his current state anyway!" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser savored every moment of his victory over this weak illusion... NeoBowser: "It may have been an easy win... but it still feels so... great. I had forgot how it felt to win after being beaten twice by that moronic rat! Well... time to go, I guess!" NeoBowser took the path that was just revealed. (edited by Zerodius on 05-04-05 12:10 PM) |

| OOC: Whew.... Finally finished that paper. Seven pages, man! Janus: "Three seconds? Sure! I need to get to Fenrir as fast as I can, who knows what'll happen to him if he runs into Odin again..." Janus jumped at this prospect. Enough destruction had been caused already, and for all he knew Fenrir and Odin could be fighting even as he spoke. The irony of the situation, the fact that they WERE fighting, escaped him entirely. |

| Star smiled and all three of them vanished. Two seconds went by in complete blankness and then they were in the center of the maze with everyone else, but as soon as they got there, they felt the effects of the fight. Star took everything in, stopping Janus and Riea from getting hurt. He stood his ground, wondering what was going on, then he spotted the cat-kid next to feinting. Odin and Fenrir were on another charge, but right when they got next to each other someone came from the ground and planted a kick right at Odin, sending him back, and spun around, landing another kick on Fenrir, who hardly flinched. Fenrir charged forward at the person, slamming them to the ground, covering them with just one of his paws. He bent down, ready to rip the person throat out, when the person brought their hand up to their mouth and blew dust out. Fenrir: "What is this?" Fenrir transformed back into a human and the person landed a kick, sending him into the wall. Star: "Nijote?" Nijote?: "Glad you remember, how long has it been?" Nijote threw off the cloak she was wearing revealing herself the same as ever. She had her assassin clothes on and looked a lot stronger than ever before. Dracoon: "What are you doing here?" Nijote turned to Dracoon, who had started to move since the battle was cut short. Nijote: "You don't believe this is the actual Nijote do you? She escaped from fighting a long time ago, after she allowed herself to be a distraction and let Origin make a fake Njiote to be swallowed by Eternum. She became weak, but I stayed around." Odin: "I don't understand, you taught me, why would you attack me?" Nijote turned towards Odin, a smile on her face. In the next instant a dark energy wave shot from her very slowly. Star was the closest and his arm was held out. His arm that was in it, disappeared. A wave of panic went off Star's face and he jumped back and grabbed Riea, he then dashed over to the other cat person. Star: "Raiko, be careful!" Star reached Raiko and an enegery fieled was immeaditaly raised that stopped the dark energy from touching them. Star: "Its an time blocker, its trying to make it so we can't help them. Right now, we can't, so just be patient." NeoBowser's path led him right into the center room about the same time Nijote stopped the two from fighting. |

| A dark figure appeared in the room. That dark aura... that hatred that was so powerful you could feel it... No doubt about it! It was NeoBowser! He smiled as he saw the battle... NeoBowser: "Well well well... beginning the party without me? So rude..." Ex: "Heh! As if anyone cared about YOU!" NeoBowser: "Hahaha, very funny. We'll see who will laugh once I become the Universe's supreme ruler." Ex: "The only thing you'll ever rule is your very own cell in the Prison Dimension!" NeoBowser: "You're really asking for it, aren't you?" NeoBowser thrown his cloak revealing his now rejunevated form! Ex: "What the... HOW?!?" NeoBowser: "Let's just say that you gave me a little hand... or should I say, your shadow did. Heeheehee!" Ex: "This seems bad. He appeared close to the others after the Time Blocker appeared and as such, he can intervene in the fight while I can't... this could turn out ugly!" |

| Star: "Hey, everyone, give me a second." More energy focused around Star and he shot some sort of energy into the dark field. The dark field instantly became transparent and started to envelope Star's energy. Riea: "The energy field has two properties. Its physical mass meant to stop you from attacking, and another to stop beings from a different time line. Star just broke it so you could fight!" Star didn't mind his arm disappearing, it was all just a trick. His arm was in the same place, just hidden for now. Dracoon was the first to rush in, trying to nail Nijote with his beam sword. She quickly dodged and kicked Dracoon up into the air, spinning around and kicking him right back into the ground. Stacice jumped into the air, energy gathering around her. Stacice: "Hammer of~" Nijote saw the attack comming and seemed to disappear, reappearing with her knee against Stacice's stomach. Stacice didn't move at all in the air, but a look of pain was on her face. They both dropped to the ground, Stacice completely on the floor, hardly able to move, Nijote on her feet. Nijote: "It's like I'm fighting rookies. I expected more." Nijote looked towards Janus, knowing something should be comming from his way, but she really didn't looked bothered. She'd just taken out four members without using any weapon, unless you count the dust on Fenrir. |
