| In an unknow place... ??? #1: "Hmmm..." ??? #2: "Indeed!" ??? #1: "You... sure?" ??? #2: "... absolutely... no... I... said..." ??? #1: "..." ??? #2: "Control... regime..." ??? #1: "... Elements?" ??? #2: "... according... plan... progressing..." ??? #1: "Good... soon..." ??? #2: "Indeed... really..." ??? #1: "... enemy?" ??? #2: "... nothing... do... laugh!" ??? #1: "Perfect! Hahahaha! Soon..." ... ... ... During this time... ... 3 beings were standing in front of the statue of Destin, who had saved the town at the cost of his life, 19 years ago. The first was a more or less 50 years old man... and the two others were quite... strange. The first was a yellow humanoid mouse with incredibly long ears and eyes that were blue like the sky. She looked like she was 20 years old. Next to her was a 16 years old being of the same specie as her... exept that it was male. The male had brown eyes and seemed quite annoyed, to say the least... Man: "...and that's how your mother's friend, Destin, saved our town from that big demon!" Male Mouse: "Yeah right! As if that guy could kill a demon!" The female mouse seemed rather angered by the male mouse's comment. Female Mouse: "You should show respect for an old friend of mine!" Male Mouse: "Becease he helped you save the world? YEAH RIGHT! NeoBowser... Ex Lightheart... the Chaos Heaven... Dark Weapon... mere tales you and father made up to impress people!" Female Mouse: "Drake... I know that you think these are all fairy tales... but wouldn't it be too much for you to at least not insult the memory of Destin?" Drake: "HA! People that make up fake stories in order to make themselves special are just cowards who don't dare face reality. Face it! You have never been Serra the hero! You have always been Serra the ordinary mouse thingy and you'll always be Serra the ordinary mouse thingy!" Man: "He's hopeless..." |

| "Damnit Star, where are you?" Dracoon looked around again, his scanner still not picking up the long retired Star. Star never even challenged him to a last fight, just left without a word after becoming stronger. Female Voice Inside Dracoon's Head (COMP): "Sensors indicate an unusual bio signature." Dracoon: "What is it COMP?" COMP: "Only one possible match, Serra." Dracoon: "Best course of action?" COMP: "Enguage, make sure it is Serra, help if needed." Dracoon moved off towards the town, immediately recognizing it. The town had become famous for being ruled by a demon a long time ago. The demon was defeated by a not very well known warrior and many aspiring warriors came to see the statue of the warrior. Dracoon knew it was Destin who they all gaped at, his body and soul seperating because he used more power than his body could take, turning him into a statue. COMP: "ETA, 2 minutes." Star: "Good he's gone." Star let an energy field disappate, showing the town he lived in now happily with his wife and children. Star's Wife: "Was it Dracoon again?" Star: "Yes, he is still wanting to fight me." Star's Wife: "You should invite him over, I'm sure he is just worried about you. You did just leave everything behind to run back here." Star: "Yeah, best decision in my life." Star's wife smiled and turned back to go into their house, Star stood outside, making sure Dracoon wouldn't come back. In some dirty tavern looking like it had just come out of the old west combined with a neo punk theme in a dark corner someone eyed all the people who entered. The new empire on the secluded continent had rebuilt quickly, old building making invention easy to do and the city thrived, with all the wrong people. This attracted bounty hunters, but most just came to see the Bounty Wolf do his work, if they would ever see him again that is. Bueatiful Women: "So have you heard anything on the Bounty Wolf?" Big Guy: "Yeah, I heard he hasn't done a piece of work all year, must've become a coward." Bueatiful Women: "You shouldn't say that about the man I love. He could be in any dark cornor, waiting for the moment to strike." Big Guy: "You really shouldn't just do that Luna, you have no clue what he is like." Luna: "Greg, you know very well I've seen him and even seen how he acts. Everything about him is attractive. That lovely coat, his incredible youth, that perfect body, superior speed, strength, even his hair looks perfect. I have to have him." Greg: "Yeah, but how do you expect to find him?" Luna: "I'll stay on his trail. I'll be first to find him." Greg: "We've been on his trail for 2 years though." Luna: "Yes, but I can feel the trail is hot now, as if he was only a step ahead." Greg: "You've been saying that for the last 6 months." Luna paused to look around, she now noticed the person in the wierd red coat, watching their every move. Fenrir couldn't believe someone had spotted him, this is the first time anyone had noticed him. Luna: "Yeah, but have we ever been in the same room as him?" Greg: "No way!?" Fenrir pointed his gun at Greg, seeing him reach for a weapon. Fenrir: "So, the first person to ever find me is a women." Fenrir stood up, Greg practically fell off his stool. Luna got up and walked towards him though. Luna: "Yes, I've been following you for two years. Fascinated by you!" Fenrir: "What do you plan to do?" Luna froze, she had no clue. She had been one of the best people with a gun to ever walk the earth, one of the real reasons she couldn't stay away from Fenrir was that he was the best to have ever lived. He defeated the man that was the strongest warrior and got out alive. Serra: "I wish you'd learn Drake, even if you think it is a lie, you should always respect a warrior." Serra paused, Sarah never had a problem accepting the truth, but then again she was only 13 and wasn't like her brother. Serra: "Someone's comming..." Serra could now see Dracoon as he entered the town. He kept at a distance, but she knew he was checking around. Maybe Dracoon could convince her child to respect the dead. Dracoon hurried over as soon as Serra waved at him. Drake: "What are you doing mom, you shouldn't wave to a complete stranger, especially one this strange." Serra frowned, although Drake was a good kid, his attitude seemed like a niave version of his dad. Of course Sarah's attitude was crazier, she loved machines, even though hardly any existed. She was glad she'd never seen Dracoon. Dracoon: "It is nice to see you are still alive Serra. Not many warriors have survived this new age. Many have been defeated by modern technology." Drake: "W-what?!" Dracoon gave a strange look at Drake, he didn't know what was to be confused about, surely he knew that Serra used to be a very strong warrior. Serra: "Yes, it is a shame. Anyways, do you remember Destin?" Dracoon: "Yes, of course, he saved this town from a demon. It cost him his life though." Drake was stunned, he had always thought his mother had lied about everything, but it seemed a little more believeable. Still it wasn't possible, everything about it. Dracoon: "You, your Serra's son correct?" Drake: "Yes, why do you ask?" Drake spoke with a rushed tone, a little angry. Dracoon: "You are weaker than you should be, you have great potential, don't waste it." Dracoon turned away from Drake and Serra and walked away, carefully looking around town. Old Man: "Its good to see him still around. He is the most reliable data bank in the world. He never lies either." |

Lieutenant Shadow: "We've been asked to empty the garbage bins of a small town." Fierce Deity: "I'M SICK OF THIS!!!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Hey we didn't even begun yet!" Fierce Deity: "No! I'm not speaking of this job!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Then what are you talking about?" Fierce Deity: "I'm sick of... all THIS! We are not just ordinary people, we're SUPER VILLAINS!" (all the other Anti-Exs): "Errrr..." Fierce Deity: "Just look at yourselves! LOOK! We've been wasting out time for 19 years doing worthless jobs! 19 F*****G YEARS!" Assassin: "What could we do else? The Chaos Heaven was erased, the Chaos Essence was shattered, the master has faded from existance, the UEN are no more..." Fierce Deity: "Since when did we needed our master to be evil? We are not any kind of people! We're EVIL people! We spread fear and destruction trought the world!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Smart idea!... but you forgot something Einstein! We lost our powers when the UEN collapsed! We're no longer the feared Anti-Exs! We're merely the Anti-ordinary-people now!" Fierce Deity: "I've been thinking about this... you know, the town in which we got the job?" Lieutenant Shadow: "Yeah?" Fierce Deity: "Our old friend Serra lives there!" Assassin: "What do this change?" Fierce Deity: "Well... if Serra is there... so must be Dark Weapon!" Assassin: "Do not compute... more input needed." Fierce Deity: "Dark Weapon is an infinite source of power! With it, we could rebecome the super villains we once were!" The other Anti-Exs began to think... and after a while... Assassin: "Will never work." Captain Dark: "LET'S DO THIS, MAN!" Lieutenant Shadow: "SHUT UP!" BANG! Captain Dark: "Ouch?" Fierce Deity: "But guys... we must at least TRY! No risk, no reward!" Lieutenant Shadow: "But if we screw up on this job, we'll be fired!... and we need this job in order to buy our food, you know! Back in the day, we could extract energy from air... but now, we must eat like everyone else." Fierce Deity: "You're cowards!" Assassin: "We're cowards who do not want to be fired." Fierce Deity: "ALRIGHT THEN! I understood! I'll do this alone then!" The Anti-Exs finally made it to the town where Serra was... |

| Star's Wife: "So, have you decided what to do?" Star: "What do you mean?" Star's Wife: "I've seen the look in your eye, I've watched you since you came back, part of you longs to be a warrior again." Star: "You're right, but I'm not leaving. Not without you anyways." Star's Wife: "So you know that I can fight? I never told you though." Star: "You thought I wouldn't noticed the increased speed, strength, believe me, it is noticable. Nino, I knew you could use magic already, your physical training was obvious to track though." Nino blushed, she knew what Star was getting at. Star: "So, when you wanna go?" Nino laughed to herself, "I give him an inch, he takes a full lightyear." Nino: "Lets go now, the kids have moved out already and no one will notice." Star laughed as he leaped up and walked towards the door. Nino already had gotten up and went through the door. Star: "I'm glad I married her." Fenrir: "So, what are you going to do?" Luna blushed, she hadn't thought this far ahead. Luna: "You think we... could become partners...?" Fenrir almost laughed at the thought, but something intruiged him. This woman was very different from normal ones, she had never killed someone and feared for her life when the time came, but it hadn't happened yet. Greg: "Ahhh... whats going on here?" Fenrir: "If you want to come, follow." Fenrir shot out the door, and jumped onto a building next to the tavern. He waited for Luna to follow. ???: "Look at the robot, it is so advanced!!! I want to see how it works!!! Come on dad, help me get him." Siryx grabbed his daughter by the shit and held her back. She was struggling towards Dracoon, who looked kind of worried, bt hadn't even noticed them. Sarah: "Come on dad! Let me go!" COMP: "Potential threat approaching. Threat rating G, best act, make sure no one innocent gets harmed. Wait for their move." Dracoon: "Right..." Serra: "Someone's here. Drake stay back." Serra moved forward, she could feel a familier evil, but she'd have to wait them out. |

It's "we're your worst nighmare" not "we're the new janitors"!" Lieutenant Shadow: "I think that the fact that we wear janitor uniforms unstead of our old super villain uniforms would kill the effect anyway." Captain Dark stared at Siryx and Sarah... Lieutenant Shadow: "Huh? What is it, Captain Dark?" Captain Dark: "Our old leader with a child?" The Anti-Exs turned to Siryx. Lieutenant Shadow: "Hey! Long time no see, boss! As you can see, we've quit the villain job." Fierce Deity: "NEVER!!!" Captain Dark: "YO STFU N00B!" BANG! Fierce Deity: "OUCH! HEY! Why did you do that?!?" Lieutenant Shadow: "Anyway... I can see you've been living happily for quite a while, isn't it?" Fierce Deity: "KILL!!! MUST STEAL... DARK WEAPON!!!" Assassin: "Shut up." BANG! Fierce Deity: "OW! Stop it!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Anyway... we should have a little drink sometimes and talk about what happened during those years to our dear boss, isn't it?" Fierce Deity: "I'm sick of this! We have the advantage of surprise! Let's strike... NOW!" BANG! Lieutenant Shadow: "There we go!" Fierce Deity: "Strike THEM! Not me!" |

| Star and Nino set off, quietly they left town and started to walk in no real direction. Lune struggled to the top of the building seeing Fenrir in front of her made he keep struggling. She couldn't believe their luck. Fenrir seemed more attractive then ever, his coat swaying in the wind. She blushed thinking about it. Fenrir didn't seem to notice as he pointed his gun behind him and fire a few bullets. A frenzy of bullets flew from behind him, every single one missed. People emerged from the shadows. ???: "Why are you here?" ???: "Leave now!" Luna: "Oh wow, you're the dwarf and giant team aren't you?" Dwarf: "Damn it! They won't even give out or proper names!" Giant: "It doesn't matter, that lady is Luna, we don't have a chance against her." Dwarf: "What are you talking about, she doesn't seem so--" Luna had taken out her gun and shot Dwarf and Giant with some sort of tranqulizer bullet. Fenrir: "You have good aim." Luna: "Thank you." Dracoon aimed his gun at the crazy group, now having a lock on. Sarah: "Are these the on guys you were talking about that worked for NeoBowser?" Siryx: "Yes, they don't seem to have any power though, they are just wasting their lives away." Sarah: "I'm glad you didn't turn out like that." Siryx: "Just thank your mother." Serra walked behind the group, she saw Dracoon and stepped back wondering what was going to happen. Siryx: "So why are you all here?" |

I think that we survived becease that we were your only friends along with the big boss himself when you were evil or something... but our powers vanished apparently. Since we can no longer absorb power merely from negative energy... we have to buy food and eat... and to get money, you must work." Fierce Deity: "Oh the humiliation! Couldn't we get an EVIL job unstead? If we cannot steal Dark Weapon, can we do something evil unstead? Honest work makes me INSANE!!!" Captain Dark: "STFU!" BANG! Fierce Deity: "OOOOOooooOOOW! Stop it! My name is Fierce Deity! Not Captain Dark!" Lieutenant Shadow: "For some strange reason, people says that we're incompetants or something... I know, that's complete non-sense but still... becease of that, we have been unable to keep any job for more than 24 hours. Right now... we've been hired to clean up the garbage bins of this town. Now boss... we must get going." Fierce Deity: "I'm not going!" Lieutenant Shadow: "I said: we must get going!" Fierce Deity thrown himself at Siryx's feet! Fierce Deity: "Come on, boss! Reason them! I know you gave up on being evil... but have mercy on the poor soul of a ruined bad guy! A word of encouragement... just a word! Anything! I'm sick of being a loser! I want to be a winner again, just like in the old days, when we were the most feared bad guys in the whole Universe!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Oh man! Don't do that. You know that we're all depressed becease of... the... old... *sniff* times... but... we... we... must carry on." Fierce Deity: "Oh the humiliation! The great NeoBowser must be frowning at what his underlings have became! His very best agents... working as worthless janitors for humans!" Lieutenant Shadow: "N... NEVER MENTION THIS NAME AGAIN!" BANG! Fierce Deity: "FOR THE UEN! FOR NEOBOWSER!" Lieutenant Shadow's eyes filled with tears as he tried to force Fierce Deity to shut up. Lieutenant Shadow: "S... S... SHUT... UP!!!" BANG! Fierce Deity: "Oooooow... I can see stars..." Assassin: "This is a sad day for the UEN indeed... it's last survivors, working as janitors..." Captain Dark: "Man... why... are my eyes... misty? Why do... my heart... hurts?" Lieutenant Shadow: "E... ENOUGH! We're not villains anymore! We've thrown it all away!" Captain Dark: "Stop it. NeoBowser would be sad hearing you." Lieutenant Shadow: "N... N... NON-SENSE!!! HE'S DEAD! HE'S NO LONGER HERE!!!" Lieutenant Shadow fell on his knees... Lieutenant Shadow: "He's... no longer here..." The Anti-Exs stared at Serra... they seemed not a little angry... they seemed really, REALLY anrgy! It seemed as if they were directing all of the pain, all of the humiliation, all of the anger they feeled for 19 years at her. All of their rage was directed at the cause of the UEN's downfall: Serra! Fierce Deity: "It's Ex's fault! She broken the Essence and forced us into this state! SHE MUST PAY! OUR HONOR MUST BE RESTORED!" Lieutenant Shadow: "... maybe we'll never be winners again... but I'll rest easier if I knew that our honor had been restored..." Fierce Deity: "So... you're with me?" Lieutenant Shadow: "Anti-Ex one day, Anti-Ex forever." Captain Dark: "I'm here dude!" Assassin: "Reporting." The Anti-Exs stood up and took fighting stances. Lieutenant Shadow: "Beaten, stripped from their power, and humiliated we may be... but we have always been and will always be the Anti-Exs, the UEN's best agents, NeoBowser's hand-picked agents! Together, we shall make sure Evil shall prevail!" (all the Anti-Exs together): "FOR THE UEN!" They took out brooms, buckets, and other various objects janitors use for cleaning and dashed toward Serra, determined to use them as clubbing weapons! | Fenrir: "Fine you've proven yourself, just get information on a good bounty and you can tag along. I'm sure your friend can take care of these two, I'm going back to the tavern." With blinding speed Fenrir was gone. Luna: "I'll teach him how to be romantic, he'll be in love with me soon enough. Hey Greg, ake these two to the bounty office, I'm going to make sure the Bounty Wolf doesn't ditch us." Greg: "Yes ma'am." Luna jumped off the building and rushed back inside the tavern, sitting down by Fenrir, in the dark corner. A huge beam passed in front of the "Anti-Exs" and Dracoon rushed in front of Serra, but she'd already taken an attack stance for herself, Drake was watching in horror as all his ideas changed. His mom ook out a katana and held it perfectly, balanced and ready to strike. Serra: "There just normal humans, I can take care of them." Dracoon: "Negative, the risk isn't worth it." Serra: "Dracoon, Siryx is here too, we can take care of ourselves." Dracoon: "You've been out of the fighting circle for a while, you'd be crushed with Dark Weapon against a number of fighters who were weaker than you before. It isn't worth the risk." Serra bolted forward, but Dracoon caught her!? She looked at him shocked, he had indeed became much more powerful and quicker to react. He activated his beam sword and dropped Serra. Dracooon: "If you want to fight you have to go through me. Even if you had your powers you would have no chance against me." COMP: "Dracoon, something is going to happen, there is a 3% likely hood of a new impending doom comming." Dracoon: "How did you figure this." COMP: "Vibrations from Origin's tower, the seers aare sensing something, it could just be a false alarm though." Dracoon: "Keep me informed." |

| The Anti-Exs stopped just in front of the beam. Fierce Deity: "Errr... we're quite overpowered..." Captain Dark: "Ye're no longer baddies... just janitors..." Fierce Deity: "Shut up." BANG! Captain Dark: "OUCH!" Lieutenant Shadow: "WAIT A MINUTE! Why isn't Ex using Dark Weapon?" Assassin: "Do not compute. Dark aura around Ex is very small if not non-existant. Power levels minimal." The Anti-Exs smiled as they stared at Serra... Lieutenant Shadow: "I think this is a better vengeance than beating her up actually." Fierce Deity made a rude gesture at Serra! Fierce Deity: "So... "Ex" being, heh? MY A**! You're just a regular rat! HAHAHA!" Assassin: "Ex has lost her powers. Wasting our time on her is worthless." Captain Dark: "LOSER! LOSER! LOSER!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Since Ex seems to have transformed into a big-time wimp since we last fought, what about we get Dark Weapon and go on a rampage, spreading terror?" Captain Dark: "SOUNDS TOTALLY COOL MAN!" Captain Dark turned to Siryx. Captain Dark: "Come on, boss! Ditch da girl and go on yo rampage with us! Just like the ol' days!" Lieutenant Shadow: "Sure... it won't be as glorious as if our almighty master NeoBowser was leading us and that his armies were alongside us... but it will still be loads of fun! Come on! Slaughtering innocents and conquering countries is fun! You'll like it!" ... During this time... ... A small satellite was orbiting around the planet, watching the Anti-Exs and Serra... ??? #1: "Hmmm.... it?" ??? #2: "What... losers!" ??? #1: "Hmmm... not..." |

| Luna: "You know it is rude to just go off without saying anything?" Fenrir: "Who were you raised by?" Luna had no clue why he was asking, it was completely unrelated to what she'd just said. Luna: 'I was raised in a rich family on the other side of the world. Why does it matter?" Fenrir waited a second before saying anything. Fenrir: "Manners don't matter in this city, not much does. If you're not careful you could be tricked into doing some bad bounties." Luna: "There is no such thing as a bad bounty." Fenrir laughed to himself, he liked this girl, she had a good attitude. Luna: "As long as you get paid of course." Siryx: "Turn around so you at least have a chance to defend yourself." Serra had already dashed passed Dracoon and with incredible speed, at least for not having Dark Weapon and all, she ran by them, slashing up all their "weapons". Sarah cheered her mother on, while Drake stared in amazement. COMP: "New thraet level indicates a lower level, Z threat level. Normal humans could fight them whith a 30% probablity of victory." |

| The Anti-Exs lost their "weapons" becease of Serra's attack and were sent flying by Bel's sonicboom! Lieutenant Shadow: "Man! Not fair! The stupid rat's allies are there!" Captain Dark: "YO'LL GET' EM!!!" Captain Dark dashed toward Bel and yelled: Captain Dark: "FALCON PUNCH!!!" However... nothing happened. Fierce Deity: "Earth to Idiot: We no longer have our powers!" Lieutenant Shadow: "RETREAT! WE'LL BE BACK!... after we have cleaned the garbage bins and got stronger, of course!" Fierce Deity: "Man! Why just not getting stronger and leaving the job alone?" Lieutenant Shadow: "Use your head! If we complete the job, we'll be able to buy weapons and then..." Fierce Deity: "NOW I understand! Heeheehee! Well... Ex Lightheart! Do not think you can escape us forever! Once our job will be completed, we'll outfit ourselves with weapons and we'll get revenge for all that you did to the UEN!" The Anti-Exs retreated, bringing their "weapons" with them! ... During this time... ... A shadow appeared behind Fenrir... ???: "Ha... there you are, Fenrir... "We" heard of you... Fenrir... the strongest creature of this world... We have a bounty for you..." The shadow revealed itself to be a human wearing a strange armor... it seemed so... high-tech... it was as if this human came from the future or something. ???: "The girl who is with you... Luna, is she? She's the second best bounty hunter in this world... and as such, "He" would be honored if she would come to hear our proposition as well. Meet us near the statue of the man named "Destin" tonight. I'm sure both of you shall be very, very interested by our... proposition..." The man vanished into the shadows, leaving no traces of his passage. How... very strange... |

| Dracoon watched them run off, there was no point to end their lives now. He turned to the others and mealy nodded, leaving them quickly to check out the town. Siryx: "Well..." Serra: "Wierd huh?" Drake: "W-Who they hell were they?" Sarah: "It was those one guys dad used to hang out with, don't you pay attention when they tell you their past?" Drake: "That is just a bunch of lies!" Sarah: "No it isn't!" Drake stared at Sarah, her niaveness was disturbing. She would believe everything she heard. Drake: "Get over it, those were just some wierd thugs." Sarah: "Then why was mom able to beat them all up?" Drake: "So she knows a few sword tricks, I could do the same myself if I wanted." Sarah: "You're such a jerk! You don't even believe your own parents!" Drake sighed, finding the battle pointless, he walked calmly into his room and laid down, staring at the cieling. All of the stories had to be fabrications, there was no other way. Serra: "Think he'll learn?" Siryx: "Yeah, he'll learn. Don't worry about it." Luna: "That is all the way across the world, how does he expect us to get there? It is insane!" Fenrir: "We'll make it, in 5 minutes." Luna: "What?" Fenrir: "Write a note to your goon. Tell him we'll be back soon and to relax." Luna: "Fine, you sound like you know what your doing." Luna wrote a simple note and left it with the bar tendor. She felt Fenrir grab her from behind and then that was all she felt, that and the air rushing past her. She looked down and saw the ground far under them. She could feel they were going at an incredible speed. She could already see the ocean. They landed right outside the water and bulleted across the ovean, landing in a small town, everyone had gone inside to sleep or for their evening meal. Fenrir walked over to a statue and waited. |

| The human was there, waiting for them... ???: "So... you came. My name is Loki and I am here in the name of an organisation called the "Guardians". Your bounty is simple... we seek data on a rare artifact... an artifact that is within this very town and is called "Dark Weapon"." The human placed a small metallic object next to the statue. It looked like a disk of some sort... ???: "Just touch the artifact and this disk will record everything we need. Simple, isn't it? You must be asking yourself "Why are these fools wasting my time?"... right? Well... you see, this is no walk in the park... well, it is no walk in the park for people inferior to you anyway. You will have to go within the home of a being who can see trought matter and can see souls... a being know as an "Ex" being. If you are spotted, we shall assume no responsability so... be careful. If you succeed in this mission, you shall be given more money than you could imagine AND more bounties to hunt... thus allowing you to get even MORE money! However... speaking does nothing, actions means everything." Suddenly, a treasure chest filled with gold appeared in front of Fenrir! ???: "Count the gold yourself. It's real, genuine gold... more than a million times more than what most of your best bounties normally gives you!... and that's only your first pay which you get whenever you refuse or accept!... complete the bounty and you'll be given so much gold... well, you get the point I guess." The human turned around. ???: "Once you got the data, return here. You won't need to call us... we'll call you. "We" know about your every move after all..." The human disappeared, leaving no trace. | Luna: "There must be at least a $1,000,000 in gold here!" Fenrir was suprised to see the look on her face, did she not remember he was worth $150,000,000,000? It didn't matter right now, there was easy money to be made, although Fenrir had enough of it to last several life times. Fenrir: "Stay here, I'll take care of this..." Fenrir seemed to disappear all together, melting into the shadows. Sarah: "Aww.. I'm so tired..." Sarah had woken up to get a drink, she was still dazed and tired. Suddenly she could feel someone in the house, she turned to look, but there was nothing. Sarah: "I can't believe I'm still afraid of shadows at my age..." Sarah turned back around and walked up the stair to her room, but she noticed Dark Weapon, still sitting above the mantel, within easy grasp of any thief, but some had already tried just to be stopped by some force field. Sarah heard another sound and turned around quickly, seeing a shadow of some sort. Her mother had taught her how to see souls, but it was useless on a dark soul during the night or someone who could hide their soul. Sarah looked up as she heard a creak on the stair, she saw Drake. Drake: "What are you doing up? Its late." Sarah: "I needed a drink, but now I think someone is here..." Drake: "No one is here, you're just overreacting like mom and dad." Sarah: "How can you say that!?" Drake: "You know that they are lieing." Sarah: "..." Sarah looked down and turned around, she looked up for a split second at Dark Weapon, but it wasn't there. Someone had made it into their house and stolen it and now he stood at the window, his gun aimed at her. Sarah: "Who are you?" Fenrir: "Sorry kids, this is going to hurt." Sarah screamed as she felt a pain in her stomach, she passed out, but as she looked around she saw Drake already on the floor and heard foot steps up stairs. Fenrir: "Damnit, you weren't supposed to scream." Fenrir didn't even turn around, he knew better than to turn his back to any opponet. Serra and Siryx pratically leaped down the stairs, Serra had her katana already out. Serra: "Fenrir!" Fenrir: "Heh, you know you can't win, just give up and go on with your life." Siryx: "Hand Dark Weapon over." Serra looked towards the mantle and saw Dark Weapon had been gone, Fenrir had someone kept it hidden from them. Fenrir: "All right, I'm done here anyways." Fenrir tossed Dark Weapon to Siryx and he caught it, staring at Fenrir, Fenrir melted into the shadows again. Serra picked up her daughter and Siryx held onto Dark weapon and Drake. They put them both in bed and stood guard the rest of the night. |

| Loki smiled. Loki: "What is going on? "He" tested you... "He" wanted to see if you were as great as they said you were... and you're every bit as powerful as we had espected. I guess it's not use hiding it anymore..." Loki's human form faded and suddenly, a gigantic arch-angel was standing before the two. Loki: "I am a Guardian... and you are a mortal." Loki began to laugh. Loki: "Bow before me, worm!" As Loki ordered Fenrir to bow before him, another angel came from behind him. ???: "Loki... this is not the right way." Loki: "He is a mortal! Why should we pay him? Why should we even consider him as anything else than a tool?" ???: "Do not pay attention to Loki. He doesn't understand the true meaning of our organisation yet... Fenrir, "He" is pleased by the success of your mission and has decided to give you a full-time job." The angel shown something to Fenrir... some kind of handgun? ???: "A Blaster handgun... the best handgun ever created. Fires spheres of pure energy at high speed and can be charged with various energies to form elemental bullets. Can even be charged and over-charged... and I did not mentionned anything about the Light/Dark system and the Missile launcher upgrades! This handgun is a portable arsenal and... it is the symbol of a Guardian officer." Loki: "W... W... WHAT?!? A mortal as an officer?!? BLASPHEMY!" ???: "Watch your mouth, lower Guardian! Fenrir is one of the few mortals who are not totally worthless... and as such, I received orders from "Him" to give him this handgun once he will have accepted." Loki: "What?!? "Him" wants him to be..." ???: "Yes... "He" wants this mortal for the job. In order to convaince our dear friend, "He" has assembled a list of reasons why Fenrir should or should not accept our job..." The angel stared at Fenrir... ???: "First... you shall obtain more money than you could imagine. Second, you will become a rather respected and important person. Third, you shall keep your free will and shall not be affected by the great "Purification". Finally... should the Guardians' Project fail, we will bear full responsability even if YOU were the actual leader at the time of the fKitten Yiffer. For these reasons... you should accept this job." The angel paused while Loki stared at Fenrir, his eyes glowing with hatred. ???: "You could refuse this job becease that you did not got paid yet... well, that's not true." Suddenly, thousands of treasure chests filled with gold appeared! ???: "There! You got paid! Second reason... you're a bounty hunter, not a mercenary... but on another hand, this job will be the most exciting you'll have in a long time and you'll get to boss loads of people... including Immortals!" Loki became enraged upon hearing the angel saying that Fenrir would boss Immortals. ???: "See? You could make Loki angry anytime just for fun! Third reason... you do not want to be involved with people who want to conquer the world or something... but then again, is your current boss's motivations truly important?" The angel paused again... ???: "Finally... you would refuse becease you do not know what you're going to work on actually... issue which I will fix right now. Project EX-107 seeks to create an army of creatures called "Ex" beings... and for that, we needed Dark Weapon's data. Now that we have Dark Weapon's data, mass production of "Ex" beings and Dark Weapon copies can begin. You are to oversee the production, make sure all those who learns about the Project "disappear" and of course, you'll decide what targets to strike first... unless "He" intervene that is. Well... are you interested?" Loki stared at the angel... Loki: "Phalanx! Why do you even ask him? He does NOT have a choice! If he refuse, we'll simply possess him and reprogram his mind!" Phalanx: "Fenrir is not an idiot. He knows that this not the kind of opportunity that presents itself very often. He have the chance to score it big and if he gets caught, he's not responsible for we, the "big bad baddies" "forced" him to do all that. He WILL accept, believe me. Right, Fenrir? You will accept this fine job, don't you? More than enough gold to live all of your life living the high life." Phalanx smiled. Phalanx: "Should you accept, you will receive 50% of your payment right now... and you'll receive the other 50% by small increments for each day you remain. Once the Project is completed, we give all of the remaining money whatever the time it took to complete it. If you ran into difficulties... then you'll be given extra bonuses for your trouble. After all... you're an unique being... we rarely get to hire beings such as you and as such, you deserve your entire payment and even more. We know that you won't fail us... and we know that if you do happen to fail us, it was becease the job was impossible." Loki: "I'm sick of this! You're acting as if this mortal was worthy of being in our presence! He is a mortal... A MORTAL! Mortals are nothing but tools! They're not worthy of even our attention and should serve us without ever getting a single reward... in fact, without even receiving our gratitude and he should be grateful for being able to serve us!" Phalanx: "You fail to understand Loki... you fail to understand... anyway... Fenrir, I guess that's pretty much it. One final detail I failed to specify for some reason... if something goes wrong during the job, you can quit anytime. The contract will last as long as you want and not one second longer." Phalanx approached Fenrir. Phalanx: "So... do we have a deal?" Phalanx smiled. Phalanx: "OOPS! Almost forgot..." He turned toward Luna. Phalanx: "The offer apply to you both. One of you or both of you can accept the job... really, we don't mind. So... will you accept our offer?" Loki: "Accept already! It will save me the trouble of brainwashing you!" Phalanx stared at Loki. Phalanx: "You can espect world-class punishment when we're back at the base. I'm ranked higher than you are and as such, you shouldn't speak unless spoken to... and you've offended both me and our guests for the last time." Loki: "But I... err... fine..." |

| Fenrir had no clue why not to accept it, it seemed perfect, but there was one thing that hadn't been said. Fenrir: "I'll accept, but there is one thing you didn't mention. What is going to happen to the world after I'm done? If I complete this completely, and you work out your part, then what will happen?" Fenrir had already had his gun out and at his side limply, there was barely a second between Luna rising her gun an inch and his gun being right to her forehead. Luna couldn't believe the speed, but that was no time for it now. Luna: "Y-you can't really be serious can you? The world will be at their mercy, you'll be helping create something that will be able to kill you!" Fenrir started laughing, he knew what Luna feared, but it wouldn't work out how she though. Fenrir stopped suddenly and turned, he grabbed Luna and jumped into the air. A huge blast flew between the angles, destroying the spot where Luna and Fenrir had just been standing. Dracoon walked out of a nearby shadow, his buster cannon ready to fire again. Dracoon: "Don't trust them, you will never be the winner." Fenrir: "Stay out of it." Fenrir put Luna down and shot a few bullets at Dracoon. Dracoon didn't even flinch as the bullets harmlessly bounced off. He raised his buster cannon and shot a few blasts at Fenrir who dodged them effortlessly. Fenrir looked at Dracoon and sighed. Fenrir: "We can't hit each other, you know that." Dracoon: "Yes, but we could defeat them together, you and I both know that immortals are never truely immortal." Fenrir: "Nah, this money is to good, an easy job too." Luna: "What's going on...?" Fenrir sighed and looked up at Phalanx. Fenrir: "Care to answer my question?" |
