(blah, I keep getting distracted with that damn advance wars game. I'm annoyed as hell too, it shut itself off when I got far into a game )

that is why you need to learn to save fortunately, for you, it turned off of something trivial and not something more important like an assignment that you forgot to save and is due in several hours...

Yeah, and I don't really feel like going back each day and double-checking to make sure everyone made the list. It's a bug but I have no idea what causes it... Probably wouldn't take too long to check though. Maybe I'll crack it this week.

Here's an explanation of what it is, taken from the FAQ:

"The ACS stands for Acmlm Championship Series, and is a "competition" run by Colleen. Each day the top ten posters (and ties) on the board are given points. The top poster each day receives 10 points and the 10th placed poster receives 1. At around midnight Eastern time each day, the rankings are compiled and posted in the Craziness Domain. "Awards" are given out at the end of each month. Note that the ACS is just for fun and people really shouldn't be posting just to rank in it. As well, the points mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. You can't exchange them for anything. That being said, the ACS has been a success on the board and thankfully we haven't had to ban too many people for spamming to get a top spot. Let's hope it stays that way."

Nah, i'm just taking a break from it. Honestly.

Oddly how I hadn't played Advance wars for weeks, then suddenly get crazy in it.

The best thing with that game, you can take your time. Which makes it perfect when your chatting with someone on the internet.

It's possible with ANY turn-based game. And there's always a little something called a pause button in those that aren't.

Then again, that doesn't quite work in online play for obvious reasons. Lord knows I could have called a timeout or two in Starcraft back in the day.
