I've been using Pulse ever since I saw Xk's custom thingy. But, I've been using WhatPulse longer, on which I have 2.4 million + keystrokes since last November.

Too bad you couldn't just transfer them over.

Once the original Project Dolphin ended I pretty much tossed in the towel... especially since any of those pulsers on my Celeron would slow me right down during the pulse.

Fixed some things, and added a NEW FEATURE!!!!

Note that, for all of you using the older version, CHANGE THE NAME TO PULSESTATS.PHP. Remove the 2, essentially.

This wasn't that hard. I also moved over the Rank number, and made it autocenter depending on number of characters.



I should also make it hijack more IDs, when I find more users that are obvious targets (like Hiryuu/Ranko and Colleen/Colleen )

Wierd, I've never had that problem. Ever. In the whole (corrected) half-year I've used this thing

just make sure the icon's not red. If it is, keycounting is disabled (right click and hit the obvious option if it is)


What I like to do is just to turn off "Pulsing enabled" because this disables the automatic pulse... I can pulse it when I want, which usually leads to a few really high pulses as opposed to many small ones, though I mainly use it because I was on dialup for over 5/6ths the time I used it and it'd pop up an error every hour/day if I wasn't connected

Colleen, you can use the features! You just have an extra little gift that happens randomly! ^______^

Hmm.. well, I have no idea what it was. The icon wasn't red, so that wasn't it.

So, I shut the thing off, not too long after the post up there, since it wasn't working. I just started it up again now, and it seems to be working.. for now, anyway.

I'm still using Pulse from the other Project Dolphin clone (Project Orca) that died maybe over a year ago, I'm up to 11.4 million since last pulse ... but if I join here and send that as my first pulse, I might look like a cheater, so I think I'll just start over from 0



It doesn't let me run both either, so I'll have to stop the old dead one

Well, actually, I'm fairly sure they're lax on cheaters (just check the rankings, all of the top ones are likely cheaters, since the counts are always the same for pulses)

Oh well, nice to see that Acmlm joined it

Colleen: If I wanted to be extremely mean, I could easily crop out the Colleen sprite from the old faked image Acmlm made, darken it, and stick it as a BG to that image. (don't think I won't, either)

I'm tempted to give some people custom backgrounds, but the text isn't movable and the shadows would kill it... but then, I could always nuke the shadows for the custom ones

And if you have any other suggestions, let me know

(as a note of minor interest, I was expecting something like this from Acmlm's colors:



gold on blue just seems to be his color scheme of choice, though it's probably changed over the four years I've known about it)

EDIT: Just as more fun and games, anyone figure out how it calculates the levels? It's fairly simple, since I'm not exactly a complex calculation kinda guy, but soon (around Lv70, I think) levels are 1 million EXP/keys long, which takes a long time x___x)

Well, I could probbaly put team rank in there... I'd just remove two padding spaces from the EXP/NEXT counters (even the rank 1 cheater isn't past those digits, and anyone legit doing it would take a few years), slide over the "rank" text (probably realigning it to be bouncy like the "PKMN" text in the Pokemon games, move the number to be next to it (probably removing the auto-center, since it's not even centered anyway) then add the team rank underneath in the same fashion (I can gain two digit spaces for the Team Rank text because, once again, the largest team is only 400 or so) but then I'd have nowhere to put the team >__>

Unless I put it underneath:

STUPIDLYLONGNAMEMAN LV 000
EXP:         0 RANK: 00000
NEXT:        0 TRANK:  000
[                     ]00%
         TEAMNAME


That'd make it easier, since all I'd have to do if there's no team is cut off the bottom part of the image and show it if there is a team (or put "FREELANCER" as a team name if there's no team, or whatever)

But yeah, it's definitely possible. Unfortunately, not being home, I can't edit the image (it has to remian the same palette, and if it's not, the colors will screw up)

So... yeah, if that looks good, I can try and put it there
