User bio I'm just an old-timer ROM hacker!

I started to do ROM hacking in 1990, using hardware hacks on a NES.

By using some special wires and connecting multiple pins together on the cartridge connector on a case-less NES, I was able to make Super Mario Bros. behave in new ways. Mario could walk through walls, jump very high and get warped in strange semi-random worlds. (And no I didn't have a Game Genie at that time, only later)

Currently hacking and reverse-engineering too many things at the same time: Metroid, StarFox, F-Zero and Mario 64.
