I'm sure it has nothing to do with C8 = 200.

What is it with C8 anyway? Last time I checked, Pokemon Advance had C8 different commands out of FF too, just like SMW's sprites. Coincidense? I'll just assume it is

Hey!

Cool. So would that mean I might possibly have a chance to make a poison mushroom?

EDIT: BMF, Would you be able to post the entry for the unused chuck sprite here?

Yeah, you should probably limit the next version of the program to the actual number of sprite entries SMW has.

We should probably make a list of all the 100% confirmed unused sprites in the game. As far as I can tell, one of the two "regular" Chargin' Chucks is an unused duplicate of the first. I used that to create the Stony boss, since I needed it to be unaffected by Mario's cape.

Hey. So that's why my emulator crashed upon usage of sprite FF. Which also means that copying sprite code wasn't the problem for me; overflowing tables were. I am going to hack SMW just that much more with this newly aquired knowledge.

I could have used that in the readme more than the "l33t ascii", HyperHacker.

The descriptions are copied from LM, so any errors in that would be in MWR as well. The settings in question are most likely unrelated bytes (such as program code or other data) located after the sprite table. Since the table contains less than 255 entries, trying to access these entries gets what's after the table instead.

Hey!

Thanks for the heads-up. I was trying to make a poison mushroom, but thought it would be good to ask. Thanks for telling me.

the sprite tables are less than FF in size, they're C8 if i remember correctly. If the reconfigurer works by modifying the address at [table start + sprite number], then anytime you use it on a sprite over C8, you will be overwriting data that belongs to other sprites. Also beware of sprites that say unused, most of these are actually used, such as A7 - iggy's ball, 7C - princess peach, 82 - bonus game, etc.

Hey!

I was wondering... In mario world reconfigurator, why do sprites F6(I think it was...)+ has the name unused, but still have various bit combinations set? Are these sprites safe to delete and overwrite?
