It wasnt modded. Half the people at Zophar.net think that it's the HDD and have suitable reasons for believing so... the other half want to have console wars.

We all know the XBox would win. Just drop it on the GC or PS2 and they'd die...

lol seriously: They're all good systems and it just depends on what you're into.

It almost sounds like the XBox was Modded which you should bever undo since it fucks up your XBox. I have 2 XBox's and one is modded...

Basically: I set the HDD to master and replugged the IDE cables. It works now. Kinda. It basically will work for a while and then it will take a few seconds to rendor things so characters in Halo 2 will appear out of nowhere sometimes. Also during the time when it's going really slow, the sound will be choppy. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Thats funny because in Halo 2 chracters and scenery pop up out of nowhere anyways.

Not nearly as much on my friends Xbox. Also: Sometimes when I'm playing it goes all slow, choppy, and jerky.

It could be a compatiblity problem, like the cables won't work together right.

Congrats and cheers!

Actually I'm getting another broken xbox and was thinking of swapping the working parts to make a working xbox. Listen: I just want to know what specifically is wrong with my xbox and I want to know what to replace ok?

You bought a broken X-Box and voided the warranty...

I think you need to replace a shitload of wiring and repair the soundchip.
