It would definitely require being a sprite if you wanted it to act more like the SMA Mario Bros. or SMB2 POW blocks, which I know for sure |

so It would kinda be as if when you hit the block from underneath.... it would run the code for mario hitting the ground with a cape, but not really use mario at all? |

I don't think it would be as easy as copying and pasting it from SMAS, though the game allready has a POW like thing built in in the form of landing face first from cape flight, so if someone were to make a tile that when hit from the bottom goes to the next tile(more squashed)and did the effect it should be the same as a POW from SMAS. |

I have a question to ask, is it possible to add a pow block into SMW ? if so I have extracted the sprite from super mario all stars also I downloaded Gold finger about thirty minutes ago the thing is though I have never tried my hand at ASM,,,, so pretty much I don't know what the hell to do with it. I know the pow block is in there somewhere in ASM and if I find it how do I work with it ? sorry about all the questions but I just want to know how to start working with gold finger and get this program to work with me.
